About: I’ve worked for years with cats and dogs, worked at a free-roam cat shelter with cats of all temperaments and ages, I’ve also volunteered at cat & dog shelters. I do TNR work in Union NJ and prevented a cat colony near my home. I was also president of an animal welfare group for two years at Rutgers. I have a calm energy that most animals are very receptive to. I’d love to walk or check-in on your pets! I’m currently pretty open on week days 11 am - 3 pm for walks or check ins. Any additional times feel free to send me a message to check. I make sure to gauge the pet’s comfort level and proceed based on that. If they are curious and friendly I’ll let them smell some of my clothing or sir to get acquainted. If they need a little time to warm up I make sure to give them space and let them warm up to me before engaging. This could include feeding, luring them out with a toy, cleaning up messes in the mean time. I want the animals to be comfortable.
