About: I’ve been surrounded by pets my entire life and have spent the last 7 years providing care for dogs and cats through referrals from friends, family, and neighbors. What sets me apart is the personal attention I give each pet. I treat them like part of my own family. I take the time to understand their routines, personalities, and unique needs to ensure they feel safe, loved, and at ease while you’re away. My remote job allows me the flexibility to build my schedule around the needs of the pets I care for, whether that means early morning walks, midday playtime, or evening check-ins. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in a client’s home, I always strive to create a calm, comfortable, and safe environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special instructions, this way they feel secure and cared for even when their humans are away.

About: I have the ability to reinforce basic commands like sit, stay, and recall during walks or sitting sessions. I have the ability to channel their boundless energy in a productive way, whether through play or structured exercise. I have a 11 year old pit bull which gives me experience with caring for a senior dog but understanding the slower pace, possible joint pain, or health issues that may require extra care. Being observant of subtle signs of discomfort, such as limping & notifying the owner if needed. Knowledge of how to administration oral medications & liquids. I am currently an entrepreneur which gives me more free time to provide the necessary care for your pet care. With such a flexible schedule I’m able to be available any day & anytime My two dogs are fenced it at home where they have a nice big yard to exercise & run around. I also take them on frequent walks especially the senior dog to be able to be more mobile on his legs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since the age 5 when I was gifted my first pup. I love my dogs as if they were my children. I have 10yr old 80lb boxer mix and a 9mo poodle. I’m currently in school to be a certified life coach. My husband owns a cleaning business and I help him from time to time. I would like to fill in my days getting outside and caring for your fur babies. I can care for your dog at home as instructed. I also have a medium poodle that is fully vaccinated and in great health that I can bring along to play with your pup.

About: Since the age of 7 years old I have always had a dog around my families home. Along with my family pet, I have experience taking care of dogs that range in age and size. I have experience with 6 month old puppies that need a lot of attention through 14 year old dogs that need medication given to them. Over the years, I have taken care of pets for my friends and family ranging from a day, a weekend, to a whole week. Having a dog of my own, I understand the difficulties of finding the right sitter as well as the importance of finding the right one. I am currently a Graduate student at the University of Rhode Island. For the summer, I am taking online asynchronous classes. Since my classes are asynchronous I am able to work my school schedule around my pet sitting schedule. With that being said, I still need a couple hours each day to devote to my school work. When it comes to someone else's home, I follow all the directions that are given to me. I am very versatile depending on the needs of the pet and owner. When it comes to walks, I always walk dogs with their leash and preferably a harness for long walks (but if they don't have one that is okay as well). If I bring the dog to my own home, I have a deck with a gate and a big backyard for playing.

About: I love all animals and will take excellent care of your pet. I have 15+ years of professional experience, and a lifetime of experience with my own variety of pets. I’ve worked at Hi Tor Animal Shelter taking care of animals and helping with adoptions, as a veterinary assistant at VEG in Nanuet for a year, and All Creatures in Pomona as a CSR and assistant. I’m currently at the new Nyack Neighborhood Veterinary in Nyack. I’m also in school for animal nursing to become a licensed veterinary technician (LVT). I love to give all animals and pets compassionate, nurturing, and professional care and companionship. My available services include meals, bathroom breaks, walks, play-time, socialization, and also some medical attention as needed like vet visits, meds (oral, topical, ear/eye drops, injection), and grooming (baths, claws, etc). I also have some experience with training and can assist with managing certain behavioral issues. I'm able to handle any type of dog, any age, any size, most temperaments, and I can manage special-needs pets. Cats are also among my areas of expertise. I work with other animals as well, including reptiles (especially snakes), hamsters, birds, etc. I’m currently working part time as a veterinary assistant at Nyack Neighborhood Veterinary, and my schedule is flexible for other pet care needs. I have availability during some days, evenings, and weekends. *PLEASE READ RE: OVERNIGHT HOUSE SITTING: Rover does not currently allow users to specify available time frames for house sitting stays, so while I do have availability for some overnight pet/house sitting, it will usually be limited to a short duration, like 3-4 nights at a time, with the possibility for occasional exceptions (TBD). The open days that I have posted on my calendar are days that I can be available in general, and I’ll try to work something out to meet your needs if possible. I’ve posted a 1-day cancellation policy, but I would prefer 48 hours notice of cancellation for a commitment so that I have an opportunity to reallocate that time. The main thing is clear communication in advance so that dates, details, and expectations can all be sorted out. I always respect the personal space and privacy of homes where I’m watching pets. My goal is to stick to routines as much as possible, and to keep your pet feeling happy and healthy and loved.

About: I’m 22 years old, have my own vehicle, and have professional experience with dogs. I have been working at a dog training facility for over 2 years - I with dogs of all ages and breeds, including dogs with reactivity, aggression, and fear issues. Outside of my job, I have been pet sitting for family and friends for more than 6 years now. I will have to work around my work schedule at my training facility, but my hours are pretty flexible. I can always come before and after work too if needed dependent on what you’re looking for. I am not currently watching dogs in my own home, I recently took in 2 of my own and 1 of them is not dog friendly.

We have a friendly 9 year-old German shepherd mix named Marshall that we adopted from a rescue at 8 weeks old so we have the ability and patience to host puppies. Marshall is our first family dog, Roberta grew up with multiple dogs caring for them from pups through seniors. Additionally, our 4 year-old daughter has enough energy to provide tons of additional fetch and chase time. We are also able to (and love) having pups with special needs. Marshall's best friend is blind and we have cared for him on many occasions. We can also administer medications and prepare specialized meals when needed. We have a large backyard that allows for plenty of jaunts and potty breaks. As well as plenty of space in the house for quiet time and naps. Your pup will have full access to make themselves comfortable in their home away from home. Travis works from home allowing for full time care. Roberta is a teacher nearby and is home early to allow for additional time and attention. We are able to fit your pup into our daily feeding, potty, play schedule or can adjust to meet their needs. In our home, your pets are treated like family. They'll enjoy a cozy environment with plenty of playtime in our large yard or indoors if it's too hot/cold. They'll have plenty of play time with our pup Marshall if they like or space to chill if that's what they prefer. Your pet will have access to our home to nap and play wherever they feel comfortable, and we also have the space to crate if, that's your preference.

About: I grew up in NYC in the LES and my family always fostered dogs and had cats. I love animals and always enjoy their company. I will take great care of your family member! I work in office four days a week but I work from home on Mondays and Tuesdays so I am available for walks and sittings those days. In my own home I make sure pets have a eating and play schedule that works for them and I like to make sure that they get plenty of exercise and excitement throughout the day. Keeping dogs hydrated is also very important.

About: I have been surrounded by animals all my life, I had take care of dogs, cats, birds, tortoises and fishes. Animals have always been a important part of my life and I love them I am free all the days of the week except for Tuesdays and Thursdays, it's when I go to college, but I I still can make some arrangements if necessary I lived in a beatiful home 🏠, in a good neighborhood to take walks with my dogs 🐕, it has locked doors so my pets stay inside and safe
