“Here’s a sample review you can use or customize: I couldn’t be happier with Michelle! She took such great care of my Mercedes and went above and beyond by sending pictures and giving regular updates. It gave me such peace of mind knowing my dog was in such loving hands. She was amazing, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Araceli and Uciel did a fantastic job of watching my dog for a week. They took such wonderful care of him and sent pics\videos with updates every day. It was clear he had a grand time playing with their two dogs and being spoiled rotten. I will definitely be using them again when I go out of town.”

“Maria is just fantastic! She is very professional, so very kind and sweet. We received daily updates, pics and videos of our dog Micky. She even groomed him and trimmed his claws for us. Our dog was part of her family and we highly recommend Maria and we will happily use her again. Maria deserves more then 5 stars. ???”

“Maria took great care of my two dogs. She sent lots of pictures and was very responsive by text. She has a large fenced in yard for the dogs to play and get plenty of fresh air. My dogs were well taken care of while I went to visit family for a week. I hope to book her in the future.”

“We had a great experience with Kate! Our dog, Sampson, stayed in her home and was very well cared for. Communication was easy and consistent, and we felt completely comfortable knowing our pup was in good hands. Sampson is pretty easygoing, but it was clear he was treated with attention and kindness. We will definitely book with them again.”

“Deuce can sometimes get a bit of separation anxiety when he leaves his family. He, however, was so comfortable with Maggie and Moose that he forgot about us and anxiety was gone! Maggie updated us and sent pics throughout Deuce's stay. We plan on using Maggie when we go on our next family vacation. Great job!”

“Kathryn and Jeremy took excellent care of our dog Max while we were away for a week. From our first meeting with them, it was clear that they had experience taking care of dogs and were very understanding and knowledgable about our dogs unique care needs. “Brittany is very sweet; my dog liked her right away. So did my husband and I! She is extremely accommodating and flexible. When we went to meet her she showed us her yard and took us inside to see her house and meet her dog. While we were away she sent daily photos which was wonderful. From them we could tell our dog was having fun. Brittany send home a very happy pup along with gifts of a new bandanna and a bag full of treats. In all ways she went the extra mile. We were very pleased with this dog sitting experience!”

“Liz was amazing with our little dog Fiona. We received daily updates and pictures and she went above and beyond to make sure our girl ate (she gets nervous in new situations and won’t usually eat but Liz took the time to try different things until it worked). It was such a comfort to know our baby was in such good hands while we were away. We will definitely book again 😊”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - New Britain
We had a hard time finding a sitter near home in Pittsburgh for our almost six-year old Jack Russell, and Georgiana was close-by to our destination and was willing to meet us via Zoom before booking. She was the most communicative Rover sitter we have ever had. I received an update and multiple photos and videos every evening. She was so kind and so accommodating, and flexible when we asked to pick up our dog several hours earlier than planned. Heidi was well cared for and had fun playing ball and fetch in the fenced backyard. I cannot recommend Georgiana highly enough. Thank you for taking such good care of our pup!

Araceli & Uciel are wonderful! Such good and conscientious carers, understand dogs well and especially senior dogs. Our little old guy came home with a pep in his steps and we are so eternally grateful for their care. Her little furbabies are so intuitive and knew how to gently treat our old guy too.

If you need a pet sitter - Pauline is your girl!! I can’t thank her enough for hosting my two dogs in her home for the night. I received photos & an update within 30 minutes of dropping them off - & without having to check in myself - which I absolutely loved & appreciated. I then received updates all throughout the day which is exactly what I needed! She was VERY attentive to the dogs, asked about/followed their normal routine & updated me if she sensed anything was wrong or if the dogs seemed uncomfortable (one of them was exhibiting signs of an ear infection). I know my dogs were well taken care of and enjoyed their stay. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and we are so very grateful to Pauline!!!

Agnes was such a pleasure to meet. She answered all of our questions and immediately made our dog feel welcome and comfortable. During the stay, she took our pet on regular walks and kept us updated with photos and messages, which we really appreciated. It gave us peace of mind knowing our dog was in such caring hands. I would definitely recommend Agnes to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful pet sitter. Five stars!

Chris and Fernanda took such great care of our mini goldendoodle Eevee. Eevee felt comfortable with the whole family and their son Luke right away. They also sent lots of photos and updates. We’re so glad to have been able to find them for a last minute trip and would highly recommend !

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
