“I recently had the pleasure of hiring Sherry to take care of my Stella, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience! From the moment I met Sherry, it was evident that she had a genuine love for dogs and a deep understanding of their needs. Sherry went above and beyond to ensure that Stella felt comfortable and at ease during her overnight/next-day stay. Sherry kept me updated with photos and videos, which made me feel connected and reassured that Stella was in great hands. Stella is not an easy pup to win over, but somehow Sherry did just this! I cannot recommend Sherry enough to anyone in need of a dog sitter. She is not just a caretaker but a true dog lover who treats your furry family member(s) as if they were her own. If you're looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and trustworthy to take care of your beloved pet, look no further than Sherry! She exceeded my expectations in every way, and I will definitely be calling on her again in the future. Thank you again Sherry for providing my Stella with a home away from home!”

“Rocky had a great stay with Kevin and Brian! He came home nice and tired from all his playing and he was cared for well! This was our second time with Kevin and Brian and we recommend them for any of your fur babies!”

“Maggie took great care of our pup! She is a great communicator, easy to contact and quick to respond. She shared photos and updates along the way. Would highly recommend Maggie, and will use Maggie again for sure!!!”

About: Hi! My name is Douglas, Doug for short. Currently a proud papa to a golden lab named Sunny, and a grey longhair cat named Remy. My best friend is a pug/chihuahua mix named Taz. I also had an old man chihuahua named Finn, and I’ll forever miss him. I feel like I speak dog, I know how to tailor my personality to meet the needs of any dog. Cliche to say but I am better with animals than with people. I am responsible, gentle, caring, and a big rule follower. I have pretty open availability throughout the week so I have lots of time to hang out with your dogs! Let me know what you need and I should be able to make it work! I have experience with crate training my dog so I am comfortable playing with your dog in the house or yard, and switching them to their crate if needed.

“Noel and his family were absolutely incredible! With two senior dogs, one of them having recent health challenges, we had a few big asks with medication administration and attentiveness. Noel, his wife, and his son took great care of our pups and updated us thoroughly throughout the weekend to give us peace of mind. We’re so grateful!!”

“Inam and Jennifer are so wonderful and flexible. They met up with me and my pup (Frankie) before boarding her for the weekend and were very flexible and communicative around drop off/pick up times. Frankie had a wonderful stay and is excited to go back to stay with Inam and Jennifer soon!”

“Ethan was able to take Zoey on short notice, which we really appreciated. We had never used a dog sitter before, but Ethan put us at ease. Zoey fit in with their Lola and cuddled right up to everyone. Ethan sent pictures almost daily. We think Zoey had fun. We will definitely use Ethan again and highly recommend him. Thanks Ethan!”

“Araceli and Uciel did a fantastic job of watching my dog for a week. They took such wonderful care of him and sent pics\videos with updates every day. It was clear he had a grand time playing with their two dogs and being spoiled rotten. I will definitely be using them again when I go out of town.”

“Dyan was wonderful with Bluey and sent updates and photos!! I would definitely recommend her for caring for your dog and I look forward to having her watch Bluey again!!”

“My dog, Atticus, age 2, had his first full day with Margaret a few days ago. He was very well taken care of including a couple of walks. He was happy to play fetch and take naps after walking. It was easy to tell by his face and composure that he had a great day...there was no visible stress when he returned home. Another dependable companion 'star' in his young life when I am not around! Many thanks, M :)”

“I highly recommend Klaudia. She did a great job with our dog, Macy. Klaudia has a kind family and two sweet dogs of her own. She sent several pictures, which I loved. I could tell our dog was comfortable and happy with Klaudia. I was worried Macy may not want to come home with us! We will definitely be coming back in the future.”

“Brian and Kevin are great with my fur baby. He gets lots of love and exercise and I get updates daily from them. This is the 2nd time they’ve cared for my Tucker boy and I would highly recommend them.”

“Great first experience! Thanks Wendy for being so responsive. Dog friendly home and yard. This was one of the first experiences our rescue dog had with another dog, and all went well. We will definitely book again!”

“Corby had a wonderful time with Andrea and her family! She was great with communication and I picked up a very happy dog at the end of my trip! Thank you for taking such good care of my boy!”

“This was my first time using the app, and I couldn’t be happier with the care Laura provided. She was friendly, attentive, and a pleasure to communicate with throughout my dog’s stay. I really appreciated the regular photos and updates—it gave me such peace of mind knowing my dog was in good hands. I would happily use her services again and highly recommend her.”

“Kathryn and Jeremy took excellent care of our dog Max while we were away for a week. From our first meeting with them, it was clear that they had experience taking care of dogs and were very understanding and knowledgable about our dogs unique care needs. We felt so comfortable leaving Max with them and when we picked him up it was clear he LOVED his time there and can't wait to see them again! Thank you Kathryn and Jeremy for taking such great care of Max!”

About: I love pets, they are the cutest addition to our lives. I have a dog of my own, she is 2 1/2 years old, very playful and friendly. I have had pets since childhood and love taking care of them, we have a house and a fenced yard, hence your pup is safe to play outdoors whenever they want. They are allowed on furniture too. Will love to take care of your precious little baby 😊 I work from home few times a week and my mom stays at home full time, so someone is always there to play with your pups and to take care of them. I have a fenced yard so they are safe when playing outdoors, I can take them on walks weather permitting, if they like to sleep in their crate they can do so too, potty breaks according to their schedule and have fun indoors. Will love to give them a safe place when they’re away from home 🏡
“My family cannot thank Christine enough for watching our senior dog (almost 17 years old) while we went on vacation for a week. She went above and beyond by taking care of an open wound Riley had. She gave us peace of mind so we could enjoy our time away. We would definitely use Christine again in the future.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with a special place in my heart for dogs of all sizes and personalities. Spending time with animals truly brings me joy, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family members. At home, I have a playful one-year-old Pomeranian who keeps me on my toes every day! Raising him has taught me so much about patience, consistency, and the importance of providing love, exercise, and plenty of attention. He’s not just my pet—he’s my baby and a cherished member of my family. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I promise to treat every dog or cat as if they were my own. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friend! I currently work Monday-Friday remote, and off on weekends. I can be flexible if needed and would love to help out as much I can I will do everything for you and your pet to feel safe in my care , I will treat the pet as my own pet

Thank you so much again Ethan! Chance can be a stubborn, strong willed boy, but he took to Ethan very quickly and was so excited to be dropped off. Usually when I pick him up he’s in a rush to get home but when I picked him up from Ethan he seemed very content, relaxed, and well taken care of. I appreciate how well he took care of my fur baby. Would book him again!

I'd highly recommend Kimberly and Victor as they were awesome w/ my stubborn Frenchie, Casper! I got daily updates w/ photos and videos which was great. They were super patient with him and went above and beyond by adjusting their routines to make him feel comfortable. Casper came home happy!!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
