“I am so thankful for Emily being able to step in as a last minute holiday sitter for my dog. She was personable, attentive, and caring. My pup gladly cuddled her for hours!”

“Sherry was wonderful. She was very responsible and took the best care of Dolly and Wrigley. She was very good to Wrigley when it started to rain. He gets scared and she sat with him calming him down. Definitely hoping our schedules line up for my next trip.”

About: I'm usually the go-to sitter for my friends, family, and friends-of-friends! I let the animals meet me where they are -- a new person is stressful and I understand that. Let me know their favorite activities! I want to make sure your pets are cared for, that they feel loved, and that you can have your time away without worrying about them. I've had an Irish Setter, a Golden Retriever, several cats, a St. Bernard. I've volunteered at pet shelters before. As far as your home goes -- that's your space, not mine. I treat it with care, stay in designated areas, and make sure to clean what I use. Need plants watered or mail gathered while you're gone? I can do that too! I usually give picture updates, and will let you know my work schedule. I'm usually the go-to person to watch animals while my friends, friends-of-friends, or family have a trip planned. Animals trust me, I let them set the scene (but like how you let a young person lead you around. Safe and structured, but still with their own agency), and make sure they get the love and attention they need while I'm with them. I'll let you know my work schedule if it's in the timeframe, and we can work around it. Need a walk? Sure! I need to walk too. I'll take them around, keep the area clean, and stop to watch birds (within reason). Play with the animals, give them love, make sure food, water, litterbox is clean and topped up.
“Michelle stayed at our house for two nights to watch our dogs and was absolutely fantastic. She kept us up-to-date with pictures and videos and followed our instructions perfectly. Would recommend Michelle to anyone!”

“Brooke did an amazing job. She came over beforehand and met with us and moxie which was super helpful. She gave us updates and sent us pictures and videos every day. This was our first time using rover and it can be nerve wracking leaving your pet for the first time with someone new but we will definitely book again with Brooke. Highly recommend as a pet sitter and house guest!”

“Christine is awesome!! She’s very professional and treats my fur baby like he's part of her family. She’s very reliable and has excellent communication. I highly recommend her!”

“Grace was amazing, she kept us updated on how the boys were daily with texts and pics. Grace is kind and trustworthy...we will definitely be using her again! Thank you Grace! ❤️”

“Taliah did a wonderful job watching over our two cats and our house while we were away on vacation. She sent us sweet daily updates and when we arrived home our house was spotless, and more importantly our cats were very happy.”

“Josh is a great person first off. Secondly he is a great dog person and our boy Max had a great dogcation. We are very happy we met Josh and that he is punctual, accommodating and a pleasure to do business with.”

“Josh took great care of our dogs and our house. Having him here allowed us to relax and enjoy vacation. Coming home to happy dogs and some beautiful flowers was just the perfect end to vacation. Thank you so much Josh!”

About: I haven’t had too many opportunities to care for dogs but the ones I have had are the sweetest! I love taking dogs on walks, cuddling, and playing ball of course! I’m currently going to school at Middlesex, but I am commuting from Portland. I also have a job at daVincis the days I work sometimes change from month to month. If you want to know you can always message me and ask! But I have plenty of breaks throughout the day to come check on them. Unfortunately I can not have animals boarding in my house. I have two cats that will get very stressed and which could become harmful to your pets and mine. But I will always house sit and make sure I’m there as much as possible. If there’s any other things you need like grabbing the mail or putting up the trash I can do it all. And of course keep your pets happy, and safe! I also don’t have to stay and just check in through out the day. Whatever makes you and your pet feel more comfortable!
“Adam stayed at our home to care for our two dogs for two weeks and we arrived back home, both dogs were happy and content! Adam took great care of them and stayed in touch by sending pictures of Gracie and Sam. He was thoughtful and conscientious, texting me as needed if he had any questions. And he left our house nice and clean! Will definitely ask Adam to pet sit again when we go away.”

“Molly was gracious enough to squeeze in a meet and greet/last minute booking for us! Provided references, asked great questions, and researched my not very common breed (Basenji) in advance. She arrived slightly early, sent a pic, and was excellent with communication. Will absolutely be reaching out for future needs. Thank you!”

Wow, Tasha is the absolute best! So thoughtful, responsible, and communicative in sitting Murph and our house. She sent us regular updates including the cutest pics and videos, left the house in better shape than when she arrived, and gave Murph all the attention and care an energetic puppy needs. He was sad to see her go at the end of the weekend but you can bet we’ll ask her back for next time.

This was the first time using a pet sitter. My dog had such a good weekend she did not seem all that glad to see me when I got home. The house was just as I left it. I felt comfortable going in having communicated with Jade beforehand and appreciated updates over the time I was gone. Hope to have Jade again in the future
