I work in theatre as a prop and paint artist and a lot of jobs in the field are for a couple weeks at a time and are not always the most consistent. I have full availability on the weekends and have a very flexible schedule during the week, specifically in the morning and evenings but also can likely do mid day.

I have helped my sister train her dog and can help continue any training and/or rules you have for your dog while walking and taking care of them. I can keep a close eye on them if they are likely to get into trouble or things they’re not supposed to. I will give your pets lot of love and attention while you’re away. I can also play with your dogs and help get their energy out during the day. My dog is very playful and I often have to run around with him in the yard and play with him in the house to help him calm down.

I will take your pets for long walks where they can do a lot of sniffing. I will play with them both inside with their toys and outside if you have a yard. I will make sure I give them lots of pets and attention and make sure they have plenary of water since it’s very hot out in the summer.

I have grown up around animals and have had both dogs and cats my whole life, as well as various types of small animals. I spent the last year working as an attendant at a Dog Daycare and Boarding center where I learned a lot more about caring for dogs in addition to my previous dog sitting experience. I have experience working with and handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels, specifically large dogs with lots of energy. I have a lot of patience for dogs who get anxious while their families are away and can help them feel as comfortable as possible. I rode horses for 10 years and For several years I worked leading pony rides and handling farm animals for a traveling petting zoo which has given me a well rounded understanding for taking care of animals in general. I am a college graduate and in college I would often take care of my friend’s animals when they were in class or away. At the moment I only have a cat and would love to get to spend more time with dogs again.

Kat was an absolutely awesome dog sitter. My husband and I were looking for someone to stay in our home last minute and care for our dogs and Kat was immediately responsive and proactive. She was timely, followed instructions, provided updates throughout the day and the dogs were very well cared for. I would highly recommend Kat as a dog walker or dog sitter. Kat is the perfect person to take care of your special pet. She has been around dogs and cats her entire life and loves playing with them and taking care of them. Kat is responsible, kind & gentle. She has taken excellent care of my pets in the past and I am confident that she will give yours the same love and attention.
Kat has taken care of my 3 cats and my dog while we were away. She is very loving towards my pets. She cleans up after them, gives them lots of snuggles and play time. Very responsible. And using her again this summer.
