I have 17 years of experience and I dogsit my family's pets frequently. I work mostly from home allowing me to have as flexible schedule. I recently lost my first dog, Peekaboo the Cockapoo, and have been heart broken ever since. About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life - my dog, Yogi, was truly my heart. He was handicapped and became very sick starting at the young age of 4. At that time, I was told he would not live long and was advised to consider euthanasia. Instead, I chose to care for him and support him through his illness, and he went on to live a full and happy life until age 12.5. Caring for a dog with special needs taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to recognize even subtle changes in behavior, comfort, or health.
