I knew I didn't want to leave her in a kennel where she would spend hours alone in a crate and I did not think she would do well being around a lot of dogs at once. I was incredibly lucky to find Mark through Rover. Mark and his wife were very friendly during our initial meet and greet with Amethyst and their two well-behaved dogs. I could tell that they love their pets and I was comfortable with them from the start. I scheduled a couple of doggy daycare days to help Amethyst acclimate and during those times, Mark was patient and responsive with communications. By the time our trip came, I was very comfortable leaving Amethyst with Mark and his family. The communication was great and he sent a few pictures of her enjoying her time with them. I came home to a happy and healthy dog who had clearly been well-cared for.
