Ashley did a great job watching our dog, Dallas. He likes to snuggle, and she sent lots of pictures with him all cuddled up. We would definitely use Ashley again for our dog watching needs!

Ashley was pleasant, and I appreciate her accommodating me on short notice. However, I was disappointed with the overall experience. I had to request updates, and most of the photos I received showed my dog lying down near shoes or a garbage can. The only walking photo was of him being taken to a coffee shop less than 100 feet away, and another photo showed him chained outside. I was also told he “wasn’t a fan of football.” I paid $60 a night with the expectation that my dog would be walked, cared for, and engaged. Instead, he spent most of the day indoors with minimal activity. When I picked him up early (taking a half day off work to do so), he hadn’t eaten much and seemed eager to leave. He came home with a lump on his leg—he had no bumps or lumps when he left home—which is especially concerning given he is recovering from stitches on his belly. Once home, he was overjoyed to run around, clearly showing he hadn’t had proper exercise. I also had an AirTag on his collar and was able to confirm that he spent the majority of the day inside and inactive. This isn’t about “a dog not feeling like it”—dogs need to be leashed, walked, played with, and engaged, especially when their owner has provided balls and treats for that purpose. I truly dislike leaving negative reviews, especially since I’ve always had great experiences with Rover.com before. But this did not meet the standard advertised, and for the price and promises made, I cannot recommend this sitter.

We are so grateful to Ashley for taking great care of our puppies. She is wonderful - particularly with our elderly dog who has some trouble navigating the stairs to the back yard. She really cares about animals and it shows in everything she does.

I had a dog of my own she was 13 years old when she passed over the rainbow bridge. I now use Rover to get my dog fix but unfortunately am not ready to settle down as a dog mom again.
A typical day
If you live on a non busy road we can walk on, a local trail or even get time at a dog park. Love keeping them moving.
