About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes since I was 8 years old. I used to talk dogs to raise money for donations. I have done boarding in the past for friends ad family. I have several pets. Two large dogs, cats and birds. I am looking for a change in my life. I am moving back to the town i grew up in and currently work as a home health aide. I have grown up in a family where I have had large dogs, cats ad birds. I feel my home is not complete with out pets. I do anything possible to make sure they are taken care of.
“Crystal was extremely accommodating to take my Dahlia in for a week after a last minute change of plans. She sent updates and pictures every day and is always extremely communicative. Would rebook with her in a heartbeat!”

“Kaitlin provided excellent care for my older, special needs dog. She reassured me my girl would be well cared for, and sent prompt updates with pictures as she was settling in on the couch. I also appreciated Kaitlin's flexibility with scheduling. I am beyond satisfied in the care provided and would 100% recommend. Thank you so much, Kaitlin!!”

“Valerie was amazing with my dog. She gets extremely anxious and has bad separation anxiety and Valerie quickly made her feel right at home. When we came to pick her up, she didn’t get excited or pull on her leash to come to me, which is usually what she will do! I would definitely use Valerie again and so should you!!!”

“Our pups always have a great time with Allison and Kenneth! They are so flexible and easy to work with and send the best picture updated so we know our babies are happy!”

“Boulder was very happy with Ciara, and it was great getting photo updates daily. Knowing how he was doing made it easier not to worry!! Ciara is very easy to work with and I’d highly recommend her to anyone!”

“We’ll be using Breanna forever! I was nervous to leave my dog for 5 days but she sent so many pictures and updates throughout the week! She took excellent care of Luna, such good care that Luna didn't want to leave! Your fur baby will be in the best hands with Breanna!”

“Carolina cared for our English Lab during a two week trip during the Christmas holiday season. She accommodated for all Cheetos needs and sent us regular video updates, which helped us feel confident she was happy and thriving while we were away. We would not hesitate to use Caroline again anytime.”

“Madison was amazing, she was rhe perfect fit and we are so glad we found her through Rover. She communicated clearly and often and helped put us at ease! Chips for sure has a new friend and we will absolutely use her again”

“Sorry for the late review! Heather and Alexis were awesome! We forgot to drop off the food and they were sweet enough to let the pups eat some of theirs. They were responsive and kept us up to date! The dogs had a great time and we’ll definitely book for our next trip out of town!”

“Carol was great! Can't thank her enough. Knew my pup was in good hands after receiving pictures everyday with my dog having a big smile on her face! Definitely recommend and will be reaching out again for any future sitting!”

“Christina was great! I could tell when I first met her that my pups were going to be just fine in her care. I was gone for a little over a week on a family vacation. She sent pictures often. My pups looked happy. She kept me updated on everything. I will definitely book with her again.”

“Emily was great!! Judson has some anxiety with new people, storms and doesn’t like when he’s away from us, but I think he did really well with Emily! She’s worked with many different dogs and really knows what they need and it shows. Will definitely want to rebook her in the future!!”

“Shunita is amazing! Roady absolutely loved her the moment he saw her. She took plenty of pictures and videos and sent me plenty of updates while he was there. She will most definitely be my dog sitter from this point!”

About: Hello! I love looking after family and friend’s pets and would love the chance to do it more often. I’m responsible and caring and I will take very good care of your pets. Hi! I’m a flight attendant on reserve, which basically means I’m on call. So I’ll know a head of time the days I’m off for the following month. The days I’m call, I’ll usually be at home waiting around, so I’ll still be free to do pop ins and walks. I have a fenced in yard for them to play in. I will walk them frequently. I will also make sure they are well taken care of and loved until they are back with you.
“Sharon was absolutely fantastic with our goldendoodle! This was our first time using Rover and the experience couldn't have gone any better. Sharon eased our worries with consistent communication, daily photos and videos. She promptly replied to our messages and questions. We were excited to receive daily photos and updates while on vacation. Most importantly, our fur baby was in a safe, calm and loving environment which enabled us to enjoy our vacation. Thank you Sharon for ensuring our baby was happy. We will definitely be boarding Beau with you in the future!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
