“Our 2 dogs had an amazing time with Megan, Axel and the family. We appreciated the attention to detail of what our dogs needed, and the pictures sent of them. They really enjoyed themselves and were wore out from playing with Axel and one another while we were away. Would highly recommend Meagan for your pet’s booking needs. We will book again forsure!”

“She was sweet and caring with seven , he enjoyed being with her . The homemade dog cookies was his favorite . I will definitely use her often going forward. Caroline is an awesome rover care for your pet! She loves them like her own..! 10/10 🫶🏽🥰”
“Valerie was amazing she watched Phoebe while she was just 8 weeks old as I had a medical emergency and was in hospital for 7 days. I cannot reccomended her enough she’s an all star and she could readily charge more if she wanted to!”

“Kaitlin was great! She took care of our puppy for the first long trip we were away from him. We were a little nervous about leaving him, but she kept us updated with pictures each day. She also has 2 dogs of her own for him to play with. When we picked him up, he was exhausted, showing us that he got to play A LOT during his stay. Would highly recommend Kaitlin for boarding your pup!”

“Ciara watched our pup Georgie over the weekend and we could not be more thrilled! We got so many pictures and updates throughout the day, which alleviated any stress we had about being gone. G had so much fun with Ciara’s sweet pup as well - she came home completely pooped from the weekend. Next time we go out of town and need a Rover, we’ll definitely rebook with Ciara”

About: I pride myself on my patience, cleanliness and ability to adapt. I’m willing to make whatever work in order to help you & your fur baby! Happy pet is a happy home in my eyes. I’m currently employed full time! But I have flexibility as I control my work schedule. I’m also allowed long breaks one week days so I’m able to do check in or even walks during usual busy times! I can follow any directions given. I’m able to clean up after pets, crate them if necessary. I’m a very affectionate person so I love rubs and playing with pets if they’re comfortable! I do have my own fur baby who is clingy but he loves other pups! Just takes a minute to warm up to them.
“Crystal was extremely accommodating to take my Dahlia in for a week after a last minute change of plans. She sent updates and pictures every day and is always extremely communicative. Would rebook with her in a heartbeat!”

“Thank you so much! This was our first experience using Rover and overall, it was a good one. Shunita was great and flexible in allowing us to come and pick them up at the end of our night so we didn’t need to leave them overnight. They were kept in kennels but Shunita said she lets them out every 2-3 hours to play in the back yard and go potty. Our puppies are on the larger size and not used to being kenneled or separated so, in the future, I will likely look for someone that allows them to join into a family atmosphere where they can roam & play freely. A smaller or older dog w/lower energy would do great, or a dog that’s used to being in a kennel. (That’s just a preference thing for the current puppies we have.) Shunita was very nice and made me feel relaxed and comfortable in leaving our puppies for the day.”

“Penny and the whole family are super sweet and perfect to watch your dog my dog Sherman warmed up very quickly and even slept with her teenage son. Definitely will use them again because I have busy work weeks at times. Sherman is a bit much sometimes when he sees other dogs a bit reactive but Penny kept an eye on him and never went out without his leash and collar and made sure all dogs weren't out. He had a blast came home and ran around like a puppy again. Will definitely be using her again.”
“Sharon was absolutely fantastic with our goldendoodle! This was our first time using Rover and the experience couldn't have gone any better. Sharon eased our worries with consistent communication, daily photos and videos. She promptly replied to our messages and questions. We were excited to receive daily photos and updates while on vacation. Most importantly, our fur baby was in a safe, calm and loving environment which enabled us to enjoy our vacation. Thank you Sharon for ensuring our baby was happy. We will definitely be boarding Beau with you in the future!”

“Stephanie was accommodating, responsive, and just sweet in general. She sent us updates pretty much every day, which we absolutely loved! Felt as if we left our pup with family. 💙”

“They took really good care of Casper! They kept us as updated as possible. They were really accommodating especially for a last minute booking! We can’t thank the enough!”

About: I set my own schedule at work, so I am able to be flexible for quick pop-ins or long walks to care for the needs of your dog. I love to run, so if you have a high-energy dog, consider physical and mental exhaustion a check for the day. Currently, my favorite walking paths are around Cherokee Park and Senaca Park! Mornings before 10 am and evenings at 8 are ideal! I usually work between 11-7 Monday-Thursdays, but often have gaps in my schedule. Fridays and Saturdays are very flexible! I take physical exercise and playtime with the utmost seriousness. Mealtimes are consistent and treats are a must! If I am in a dog’s home, they will feel loved and prioritized.
“We’ll be using Breanna forever! I was nervous to leave my dog for 5 days but she sent so many pictures and updates throughout the week! She took excellent care of Luna, such good care that Luna didn't want to leave! Your fur baby will be in the best hands with Breanna!”

“They were absolutely amazing with my dog, Charlie. From the moment we dropped him off, they were kind, patient, and super understanding. You can tell they genuinely care about the dogs they watch. Charlie was comfortable with them and that gave me a lot of peace of mind. They kept me updated and were very attentive to his needs. I’m really grateful for how well they treated him and I would 100% trust them again. Highly recommend!”

“Emily is extremely caring in particular with very senior dogs. She did an amazing job taking good care of my 15 1/2 year old Shih Tzu. He had a medical issue and she notified me and my vet immediately”

“Christina watched Dino over 4 days and 3 nights. She was very accommodating. Dino was sad to see christina go when Dino came home and they parted ways. Would recommend?”

“Amazing! Rachael was great very communicative and sent me pictures and videos of Aspen! She can be a handful so to hear she did great made me very happy. Couldn’t have been more pleased. Will definitely be going back! :)”

Lola had an amazing time with Melissa and her family! They sent lots of pictures and updates throughout her stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter, and we would definitely book with them again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
