Benny loved the big backyard and I could tell he immediately felt at home. During my trip, I received daily videos of Benny playing with other dogs or being loved on, which made me feel good knowing I was so far away from home. “A couple of weeks ago, I had to leave town for two weeks due to work, and I had my sitter at the time cancel the day before I was set to leave town. I had never used Rover before, but I found Melissa and Jonathan on the app at the last minute and decided to give it a try. Despite the short notice, they immediately agreed to a meet-and-greet that same night before I had to leave. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and understanding from the very beginning. Their space was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for my pet’s needs. Throughout the entire stay, they kept in touch with me on a daily basis by sending updates and pictures, and they were always quick to let me know if they had any concerns. I am very grateful that I was able to trust them with my pet, especially on such short notice and I would happily have them care for my pet again in the future. They are a hardworking, wonderful, and loving family, and I highly recommend them!”

Because of this lifelong background, I am incredibly adaptable; I know exactly how to keep up with a high-energy puppy, gently comfort a shy senior cat, or carefully manage specialized feeding schedules for your pets. Leaving a pet can be stressful for owners, so I always leverage my decades of experience to prioritize clear communication, reliability, and daily updates that give families complete peace of mind. I currently work as a handy-man so my hours are flexible enough to need your pets every needs from stopping by and playing multiple times a day to sitting with them all day and night. I also have an animal friend home with pleanty of play area and 1 acre of fenced in yard for them to play. My 3 dogs and 3 cats welcome any animal into the household with open paws. My gentle giant st. Bernard and German shepherd are rough enough to play tug of war with the biggest of dogs but gentle enough to cuddle and protect a 5lb teacup Yorkie.

Her dog, Wes, was the perfect buddy for Salem too! Her fenced-in yard is fantastic for doggies to sniff and play in. Lynn wanted to know all about him and any instructions for the day at drop off and she followed them perfectly. She has a fenced yard and they spent a lot of time out there. It is about a 20 minute drive for me and there are plenty of sitters closer, but I will continue to make the drive, because it doesn’t get any better than her.”

About: Hi! I am a dog lover and have had one since I was a kiddo. I have had small, medium and large breeds. I do not have any dogs that live with me in Louisville so all my attention and affection will be on your pup! My boyfriend and I have a Belgian Malinois and a German Shepard which I live with part time that I miss so much when I am in Louisville. Which is why I am doing Rover - to spend time with pups when I am not with mine. I work from home so your pup will get tons of time, walks, love and affection. Your pup will snuggle with me at night if they like as well. I have a fully fenced backyard but prefer not to leave dogs outside alone so they will always be supervised. I am very sensitive to dogs needs and will work to ensure that they feel safe and loved while they are with me. No crate training or crate needed - they are free to roam the house. Please reach out with any questions and I look forward to meeting your fur baby! I work from home so am typically there almost all day. I run out occasionally on an errand but a normal includes me being with your pup 22/24 hours! I have a fully fenced yard and live in a great neighborhood for walks. I have plenty of space in the house for your pup to explore and play.
