We had a dog for 17 years that passed away earlier this year at the age of 19 (able to care for a senior dog). He was adopted from Southern Indiana Animal Rescue. Melissa (a.k.a. Mom) taught me how to take care of my first and only dog, Max. I got him around Easter when I was in 3rd grade. I had been asking for a dog for a while and she finally surprised me and said yes. She helped me learn how to take care of him, feed him, take him for walks, and make sure he always had water. I would save my allowance to buy him toys and such too. Mom always made sure Max was healthy and had his vaccines. We both loved and cared for him for 17 years until he passed away early this year at the age of 19. Mom always made sure Max was well taken care of and had everything he needed to be happy.

Schedule
Available weekdays and weekends. There is always someone at home that can let the dogs out. Walks after I get home from work in neighborhood or park.

Safety, trust & environment
No other pets in the house currently. Only one family's dog(s)s at a time, no need to worry about them getting along with other pets. Your pet will be my top priority.
A typical day
Play with them, take them for walks, show them love and affection, and allow them to run free in the large backyard. You're dog will be well cared for.

- Let me know if your dog has any special needs. I don't mind giving them medication if needed. There are a couple steps getting in and out of the house. As long as the dog is not too heavy I can carry them up and down the stairs, if needed.
