About: We had a dog for 17 years that passed away earlier this year at the age of 19 (able to care for a senior dog). He was adopted from Southern Indiana Animal Rescue. About: I've had cats in my life ever since I was a baby, there hasn't been a time that I hadn't had cats. As to why I'm a good carer? I've taken care of my parents elderly cats that were sick, and I always make sure to close doors behind me so that no one gets out of the house, I've known far too many people who have been careless and let cats out that way.

About: Dogs have always been family in my home, and that’s exactly how I treat every pup who stays here. My name is Keith and I share a home with my wife, Natalie; our 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound, Bernie, and our 6-year-old daughter, who has grown up loving and being around dogs. The home has a large, fully fenced-in yard with plenty of room for dogs to run, play, explore, or just lounge outside. I worked at Pampered Pet Clinic in Hillsboro Oregon several years ago and assisted the vet with procedures, surgeries, vaccinations and medications. Does your pet need timed medications? I would be happy to help you with it. I have been involved with rescuing, transporting and fostering dogs through several rescues, including "Key to Happiness" rescue which rescued and healed many homeless and injured dogs and found them new forever homes. My approach to pet sitting is to make the animal as comfortable and happy as possible, depending on what that particular pet needs the most. Some need petting and cuddles and some need playing and activity or both. It is stressful when their family is away and I make sure to become their friend. I am not there to correct behaviors but to give them the love and security that they're missing with out their family. I also have had folks come in and look after my beloved pets when going out of town and I know that it feels a little odd with someone coming into your home. For that reason I treat your home with the utmost respect. I don't go into any rooms with doors closed and do not help myself to anything that you have not specified. I check and double check all door locks and gates and am familiar with alarm codes. Your keys stay on my keychain at all times until they returned to you. I'm a mature and stable homeowner in the area with stellar local references. I will be happy to meet and greet you in your home to make sure we are a good compatible fit and can't wait to meet your fur babies! If I sit for your dog in my home, my cat, Frankie, will just roll her eyes and move on :) I am happy to work with the schedule you prefer for your furry kids, even if it's not the same as mine. About: I've never had a time without pets in my life. Ever since I was born I had cats, dogs, mice, fish, even chinchillas! A good thing about me is that I always like to research things before I take something on. If there were any health issues or anything I would try my hardest to learn everything I could about it. About: I’ve always had a dog growing up, our family dog recently just died of old age.. and think it’s probably to soon to get another dog so we’re going to take baby steps. My name is Keith and I share a home with my wife, Natalie; our 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound, Bernie, and our 6-year-old daughter, who has grown up loving and being around dogs. The home has a large, fully fenced-in yard with plenty of room for dogs to run, play, explore, or just lounge outside. Inside, the home is completely dog-friendly—couches, furniture, snuggles and all! I want your dog to feel like they’re staying with family rather than being boarded. About: I worked in an overnight pet facility called Pet Station Country Club for close to a year as a part of the overnight team. From around 7pm to 6am I would have personal watch of dozens of pets including cats and dogs, and was in charge of giving them medications and potty breaks. I am also Pet Tech CPR and First Aid certified, so I can give medical attention to your pet in an emergency. I have grown up around all kinds of cats, dogs, rabbits and chickens, and love pets! I am a full time student undergoing my junior year at University of Louisville, but am free multiple times during the day to check in on pets as I live within 5 minutes of campus. My evenings are free, and I have no prior commitments. The townhome I stay in has a fenced in yard and is incredibly close to University's campus, meaning it is a safe environment for walks and care.
