“Denise did an awesome job for us. She followed instructions to the letter and Bree was one happy canine while we were out. We'll def8nitely be using Denise again for our canine sitting needs!”

“Andrea is amazing! She came twice a day to care for our cat and did such a wonderful job. Her updates were very detailed and fun with photos and we felt very safe and secure and completely trusted her with Hazel and our home. Andrea is super responsive and whenever we go out of town again we will hire her for sure. Highly recommend!”

“Everything went really well! Natalie was on-time (I could see from my kitty-cam that my kitty was ready for breakfast) and she stayed for at least 30 minutes for both visits (in the same day) - more time than my kitty needs from anyone who isn't me. Natalie got everything right and my kitty looked to be very content with her day by the time I got home.”

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with one since I was six, and that bond taught me how much care and attention our furry friends really need. I also spent four months volunteering at a shelter as part of a school project, where I learned even more about caring for dogs. That experience only deepened my passion for making sure every pup gets the love and walks they deserve. I’m currently a student on summer break, so I have plenty of free time to dedicate to pet care. Aside from the occasional golf tournament usually twice a month that’s around 6 days total. I’ll be spending most of my time in Monterey. If you’re heading out of town for a few days, I’d love to help take care of your dog. I’m reliable, flexible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals! When caring for pets, safety and trust are always my top priorities. I make sure to follow any specific routines or instructions provided by the owner whether it’s feeding, medications, or walking preferences. In your home, I respect your space and keep things clean and calm to make sure your dog feels comfortable and secure. I always check for anything that could be unsafe, like open gates or small items they could chew on. I treat every pet like they’re my own giving them lots of attention, a safe environment, and a routine they can rely on.

“Bria took wonderful care of my dog Marley while I had to attend a family event for an hour. She was attentive, caring, and very responsible. We are still new to having Marley stay with pet sitters, and Bria was kind enough to send photo updates of Marley to ease my mind. When I returned, Marley was happy and well taken care of. I really appreciate Bria's help and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.”

About: Animals have always been my happy place. From as far back as I can remember, I’ve had the privilege of caring for both cats and dogs, developing a deep bond and understanding of their unique personalities. Having spent years with furry friends, I've learned that every pet has its own quirks and needs, but all of them share one thing in common: a desire for love, attention, and connection. What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my genuine passion and hands-on experience. I'm not just someone who watches pets — I actively engage with them, whether it’s a playful game of fetch, a peaceful cuddle session, or a long walk to explore the world around us. I believe in creating an environment where pets feel safe, loved, and entertained. I’ve never met an animal that didn’t enjoy quality time with their human, and I take pride in giving them the attention they deserve. Whether it’s providing mental stimulation with toys, helping pets burn off energy with exercise, or simply offering companionship, my goal is always to ensure the well-being and happiness of each pet in my care. Their needs come first, and I make sure to listen to both the animals and their owners to create a routine that works for everyone. I’m more than just a pet sitter — I’m a true pet lover. With years of experience and an intuitive understanding of animal behavior, you can trust me to provide your pet with the best care possible. After all, every pet deserves to feel like they’re part of the family. Currently, my daily schedule revolves around taking care of my mom and my own animals, so having a flexible job is crucial. Luckily, pet sitting is the perfect fit for this chapter in my life, allowing me to combine my love for animals with my responsibilities at home I live in a peaceful, pet-friendly community, where I have access to quiet walks and a safe outdoor space. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood or a quick potty break, I ensure your pet gets the fresh air and exercise they need at their own pace. Inside the house, I’ve designed the space to be a cozy retreat for pets. I have a large, comfortable dog carrier for pets who need a quiet space to rest, as well as plenty of soft bedding and safe spots for them to relax and feel secure. I believe in building trust with each animal, which is why I ensure they have access to everything they might need, at any time — from fresh water in every room of my home to ample opportunities for play and attention.

“Ashley took such good care of our old dog, giving him lots of cuddles and outside time. Her check-ins were thorough and she sent great pictures of him on his adventures with her. We highly recommend Ashley and will absolutely use her services again!!”

“Megan was great! First time Rover user - she explained how it worked, was very considerate, shared daily updates and took super sweet photos of our cat each day. Will book her again in the future - thank you!”

“Natalie was great! Our boy has epilepsy and we felt very comfortable leaving him with her. She was responsive, easy to communicate with and professional. Bogey also gives her a 5 out of 5!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the depth of my experience. I have a lot of experience in training puppies, including potty training and simple commands such as sitting. I have cared for two dogs, a large mixed breed for eleven years and a chihuahua beagle for four. In addition to caring for my dogs, I have also simultaneously dog-sat for friends and neighbors, taking on responsibilities such as walking them and administering medicine. I have experience with energetic and large dogs (my neighbor's labradors in particular), and I can keep them close despite their strength and energy. As I am taking college courses starting August 26th, I will be unavailable on Mondays and Wednesdays until 3:45 p.m. However, my schedule is otherwise flexible, and I am usually completely free after this. Additionally, I am free between 10:00 a.m. and 8/9:00 p.m. the rest of the week. I try to prioritize the dog's necessities and comfort. I feed them on a consistent schedule (twice per day), take them on long or short walks four times a day, and play games such as tug-of-war or fetch, weather allowing. I keep dogs cool by playing games indoors, especially during the hot afternoon's summer months.

“2nd time booking Asta to do check ins on our doggie. We couldn't be happier with the care our dog received! We felt completely at ease, she sent us pics of her check ins with our dog, gave him belly rubs which he for sures loved! Would definitely recommend her!”

“Amazing. Did such a great job keeping our pups calm at the Hotel, after 2 evenings of calls from the front desk, finding a dog sitter was a must to continue our trip. Elena was easy to communicate with, helped me setup the proper visit types, as we didn’t need over night but wanted more than just a drop in.”

About: I have fostered/rescued/adopted, & provided pet sitting my entire life. My specialty is dogs with issues (long term shelter stays, dogs that are people/dog reactive, & senior hospice dogs). I currently volunteer at a local canine rehabilitation center, both in a fundraising capacity, as well as walking pups. I am retired from the State of Nevada (22+ year law enforcement career). I currently volunteer at a local K-9 rescue & have complete flexibility for pet sitting in your home or walking your dog(s). I am currently on Trusted HouseSitters watching pups in their own homes. I have received a Five (5) Star review for EVERY sit. You will have the peace of mind while traveling, that your pup(s) will be safe & LOVED.

About: New to this site yet for friends and employers, I've done housesitting and pet sitting for years. I've been vetted, background checked and currently on another popular sitting site. I've just relocated back to the area of Monterey, California where I grew up. I love to be out hiking and walking so if your pet needs exercise and the peace that comes with it, I'm your gal! I usually take myself out walking twice a day. Unless your animal needs special care and can't be active, I believe pets should be active because it makes them feel better, same as us. I'm flexible in my work and don't have the sort of hours that would keep me away from your pet for too long. Regular feeding, bathroom breaks, playing and petting are my top priorities. I do a lot of photography and photos of animals are one of my faves. Your pet could be the next Lassie! Safety is also a top priority. I can either drop in on your pet or do overnight stays, weekly stays, etc. I keep pets safe, doors and windows locked, and the place exactly as you left it. I've traveled for years using Airbnb and have great reviews here for you to peruse – thank you hosts!

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and am perfectly comfortable taking care of other people's pets. I took care of multiple dogs during the holiday seasons for three years in a row and am available to take on some more work! I am responsible, and not afraid to clean up after your pup (I took a dog with worms to the vet on Christmas Eve one year)! More recently, I fostered a husky/Rottweiler puppy for a year - I do miss him! I'm also looking for a running buddy!! If you have a high energy dog who needs to get outside, I'm your gal! I'd even be happy to take them hiking, to the park with a frisbee, wherever their favorite place is! Feel free to ask any questions or message me! I am available most weekends. I'm an early riser and love to take walks at sunrise or after my breakfast. Everything else falls into place depending on the pets' needs! As long as I'm provided a thorough tour and explanation of your pets' routines and needs, I'm very good at following those instructions and have lots of respect for your space.

About: I’ve had a dog as part of the family for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for my own childhood outside country dogs to indoor pampered pups of my own. I’d love to help provide care to your pups as well as peace of mind knowing they’ll be loved just as much as you do. My schedule is pretty flexible as a stay at home mom. I get out frequently for walks with my own pup and am happy to bring her along for play or keep my individual undivided attention on your pups. Having dogs of my own I’m used to crating dogs and letting them out for play and walks. I’m happy to accommodate any needs you may have that will better help care for your pet.
