About: I can walk, play and take care of your dog while you are away. I am very patient, caring, and active grandpa. I have a young golden retriever who is very very active. I love being outdoors and take long walks. I can do drop-in visits or stay overnight when necessary. I am also good with cats or other animals. I will follow instructions and make sure your pet and you will be happy. I am available pretty much all the time. A day notice would be good however I can be available on a shorter notice as well. I can watch your dog in your house if you allow that or crate a dog if needed. Will follow the feeding schedule and make sure to keep fresh water available. Will also follow the potty breaks as instructed. I can stop by several times a day if needed depending on the distance. if your dog need emotional care, I would be happy to be present to keep him/her comfortable. I am very flexible as well.

About: I have shared my home with dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, and more. Currently my family includes one dog, three cats, and two roosters. All happily rescued and loving life! Growing up our home always included dogs and cats, and any other small animals I insisted on having. Caring for animals is second nature to me and something I deeply love. I currently work remotely for a small nonprofit, where most of my time is spent on the computer. While I enjoy the work, I miss being around animals and am looking to slowly transition back into that world. About: As a child, I grew up on a farm surrounded by all kinds of animals. I've always had an affinity for animals and felt like I could communicate with them. Over the years as an adult, I've raised and trained cats and dogs. My sweet mini-pin passed away two years ago. I had her for 16 years ever since she was a month old. I can walk your dogs, pop in to take care of your cats, dogs, etc. I'm not squeamish. My schedule is wide open, so let me know what you need. I look forward to hearing from you! I am available during the summer with very minimal time constraints. I am willing to work around what your schedule is. If I am needed before 11 a.m. I can work with You on that as well. I am super flexible with my schedule. I have a fenced yard where the dog/dogs can play and potty. They will get plenty of exercise when they stay at my home. I look forward to hearing from you!

About: I've worked at a wonderful pet boarding facility for 6 years. I've loved and taken care of many pets in their home or mine throughout the years. I will enjoy meeting with your pets and learning their personalities and quirks! My work is flexible and I can work around your schedule. I am also able to take your dog(s) to work with me if needed and agreeable to you. At work, my office has a dog bed and there is a huge fenced in area safe to let loose to go potty. My co-workers all love dogs and they will certainly be petted and loved. At my house, I have a fenced in yard mostly grass, not huge, but big enough to chase a ball. I have a covered patio perfect for sunning or watching the birds fly by.

About: My husband, Len, and I had dogs for most of our married life of over 45 years; 1 Siberian Husky, 3 beagles, and 3 English bulldogs. We are retired and have time to spend caring for your fur babies. We moved to Monroe two years ago to be near one of our children. We now have the time to spend caring for your pets. We have not adopted a dog because we have had to travel back to our home town for extended periods due to medical issues of family members. We are now able to offer assist to pet owners with their needs. We have a fenced yard where they can explore freely. We also are near a large park and lake, where there are walking paths where both people and dogs enjoy walking around. A one story house where dogs, who are older, don’t have stairs to climb. Your dog is welcome to sit with us on the sofa, and sleep comfortably. We can also crate during the night. We will accommodate your schedule with your dog at your home also.

About: Hi there! I am a part time stay at home mom and part time nanny, full time pet lover! I find a true passion in caring and loving all dogs, cats and other pets too. I have owned pets since I could walk and talk, so I have a ton of experience in walking, feeding, training, playing, bathing, and so on! I am currently offering all services with the exception of no boarding of cats in my own home. However I am very comfortable with them and happy to do so at yours! During the day I also care for my son, who is 3 years old. He loves all pets as well, is very gentle and caring, and will happily join me for walks and drop in visits if booked during the day. Evening and overnight care I will fly solo! As for boarding, my boyfriend, son and I live with our two small dogs who are very friendly and sweet. We have a fully fenced back yard, as well as ample walking space through the neighborhood and multiple nearby parks. I am very patient with animals of all personalities and training levels, gentle, and excited to spend time with new fur friends! I am super flexible in helping you with just about any type of care you may need for your pet(s), so please reach out with any questions, concerns or creative needs! As a stay at home mom, I am home/available very flexibly during all days except Mondays and Thursdays (when I nanny). I can definitely accommodate overnight boarding that includes Mon/Thurs, however will usually be unavailable from 7:30-4, unless special circumstances require a trip home. About: I am a former veterinary technician who still works in the field. I am comfortable with dogs/cats of all ages and sizes. I am comfortable with medication administration. I’m great with fearful pets. I work four days a week at a veterinary hospital. I have my own dog and cat that my partner takes care of when I’m sitting. My schedule is open enough to accommodate midday walks and meds if needed. I am careful and meticulous when it comes to animal care- mine or yours! Doors stay closed until the leash is attached. Food and meds stay on schedule. I work hard to make it as calm an experience as possible.

About: I have only dog sat my neighbor dog they had a older medium size dog I stayed overnight for almost a week taking care of him. They got a new dog I am not too sure on the breed but it was a puppy that was super hyper I stayed overnight for about 3 nights taking care of Harley. I am currently doing part time so I have plenty of time to hangout with your pups anytime after 10 am on weekdays and free anytime on weekends:) I follow all rules the owner asks. I prefer watching the pups at the owners home so the pups feel more comfortable. I care for the pets like they are my own.

About: SERVICES I OFFER: Drop-In Visits: At 10 years old, I was trusted to care for my neighbors multiple dogs, puppies, cat, multiple birds, aquarium fish, guinea pig, and rabbit while they would go on vacation. From this early age, I would make notes of everything I needed to do to make each and every one of their companions feel happy & well-cared for. I would also stay the extra time to make sure their minds were well-stimulated by providing lots of play time. Fast forward to 27 years old, I now live in a neighborhood where multiple neighbors trust me to look after their companions while they are out out town, which includes feeding, letting outside, and of course, playing! I am currently a proud bunny Mom of our rabbit, Thor, with over 9 years of caring for bunnies. Dog Walking: 10 years old was also the age my dream came true of having the puppy I always wanted. Most of my vivid memories as a child was taking Sadie, our beloved Pug/Boston Terrier, out on long walks in the trails near our home. I did this as long as I possibly could with her, until her old age of 17. I've always loved to be outside and explore the community. I love the feeling knowing I am making another dog happy on the walks that they enjoy most, just as I did with Sadie. You would feel rest assured that you are choosing someone who feels very passionate about serving you and your loved companion. WHAT I OFFER AS A PERSON: If you are choosing me, it’s important to know how much of an advocate I am for all animals alike. As I have had a vast experience with many different types of pets, farm animals included, I will make it a top priority for your companions to feel well cared for and most importantly, safe. I also hold high standards of communicating with owners, and respecting boundaries. With that being said, I would provide the same service I would want as if I were trusting anyone else with my pets' wellbeing. As a Paraeducator working for Northshore School District, I am currently available on Weekday Evenings after 4pm & Weekends only. In order to provide proper care for any animal, focusing on safety, trust, & environment is extremely crucial. Each service I provide, I will always keep in mind: For any Drop-In Visits: 1. Read and fully understand all instructions, expectations, limitations, or preferences according to the care of the dog. I am also very open to meeting the dog prior to any services I provide in order to make your companion most comfortable. 1. When entering the home, always act in a kind manner towards the dog. This may look like me smiling, and greeting the dog with a calm & gentle voice. 2. Always make sure the door closes once I am inside, so that the dog does not escape. 3. Always keeping an eye out in any changes of behaviors the dog may have, and knowing what to do in case of any emergency. 4. Keeping an eye out for any hazards that may put the dog in danger. 5. When leaving, securing the dog in any way needed, and exiting without putting them in any dangers of escape. For Dog-Walking: 1. All of the above; 2. When exiting for our walk, making sure the leash/harness is on safe & securely before opening the door. 3. When walking in neighborhood, always on the lookout for any hazards, such as other dogs, and avoiding those, for the safety of the dog. 4. When re-entering the home, always making sure the door is securely shut before taking the dog off the leash or harness. You can ensure that I keep communication to a very high importance. I have always had a habit of sending photos or videos to owners who have trusted me with their companions in the past. I fully understand how hard it is being away from your loved pet and know how much I would appreciate any update if I were in your position.
