If your pet is skittish around new people, I will move calmly and avoid eye contact or unprompted touch. If they want a playmate for when their people are away, I can be exciting and fun! If I need to do anything that may be stressful to your pet, such as bathing them, correcting behavior, or medicating them, I will take extra time to sit with them and let them hear my voice in a nonthreatening context, to bring the relationship back to something more trusting.
