“Thank you, Heather! I was able to enjoy my vacation and not worry about my kitties. I knew they were in good hands! Great communication! Explained how everything worked. I will definitely use Heather again!”

“Sophia did an amazing job following my instructions and taking care of my pets (ferrets and cats) when we were gone for the weekend. She has been easy to reach and left detailed report cards after each visit.”

“Jean was wonderful! We were gone for a week on vacation and she was able to stop by multiple times a day to take care of and visit with our dog, Elly. She also sent at least one update with pictures each day to let me know how things were going! It definitely gave me peace of mind while away. She went the extra mile and brought in our mail and shoveled our sidewalk/porch after it snowed. We would 100% book with her again. Thank you, Jean!”

“Luke was great! He sent pictures each day and gave me an update. He never gave up on winning over one of my cats and it finally paid off. I appreciate his professionalism.”

“Michelle was just absolutely wonderful with Snow and Storm. This was my first experience with Rover and Michelle's hospitality has made me a satisfied customer. Thank you!”

About: I have worked with pups and kittys since I was little, I have done puppy training all the way to taking care of senior pets. I have had much practice over the years with all of my own furry family members and now to having a few solid clients I service on a regular basis before even joining Rover. So I love taking care of folks furry family members including my own Doberman and my sisters cat while she's gone away at college. However I work for the government Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 a.m.-7p.m. so I can be there during the mornings and I can take care of them as soon as I get off work in the evenings for feedings, potty breaks, walks, etc. Unfortunately, I more than likely will not be able to do midday potty breaks so if you're someone who works from home and let's them out frequently it probably will not work out. But if they're used to being in during the day already from work schedules then it should be a perfect fit! I take care of my Doberman pup through trainings with positive reinforcement via toys and treats. I feed him every morning and evening, taking him on walks out in the woods and letting him run wild in our big back yard.

“Tia was wonderful. She was able to come over and meet our pooch with not many days notice, and he was very comfortable with her. He’s an anxious guy, too, so that’s saying something! She was on time for the drop in, provided great care, and gave a detailed update. We will definitely book with her again.”

“Jenna and Spencer did a wonderful job with our 2 dogs! I was skeptical using Rover but after many years of relying on friends and family to watch our dogs while we are out of town, I knew I had to eventually hire someone, they did not disappoint. Our dogs warmed up to them pretty quickly and that's not always the case with our pups, they made 2 stops at our house before our vacation to get acquainted with the pups which was perfect. The check ins with pictures kept our mind at ease while we were away and they kept in contact as well. I would highly recommend! We will be using them going forward for our pet care needs!”

About: Animals are so unique. The way they play, eat and sleep, every animals deserves special, intentional care. I love being around animals of all kinds and want to make sure people feel at ease when they’re family need to leave their pets at home. My schedule is relatively consistent. I have availability all day on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays and my week nights are open for pet care as well. In a clients home, I am respectful of their home and their animals. I follow directions and will do what is necessary to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life. When I was old enough, I had begged my mom to ask her friends if they needed dogs to be walked/watched. As I grew older, I began pet-sitting for more lovely people in my community, like teachers, friends, and even hairstylists. I also volunteer at King's Harvest Animal Shelter whenever I can. It makes me proud to know I can be trusted with the furry families of my loved ones. I work a part time job, so I still have lots of open availability for your babies. Being able to keep an eye on your pets is my priority, so days I am working I will not be available. (Unless you don’t need me until after my shift 😉 I do not currently offer boarding as I do live with other people. However, in your home, I will put your animals' comfort above all else. Every pet is different, so it's my job to learn what works best and give the best care for them.
“Bianca is absolutely AMAZING! Sent so many photos of our cats & they clearly really liked her! First time leaving cats for a week and was immediately comfortable knowing the love Bianca showed them. Will always be using her & thankful Rover connected us to her!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Moline
Jenna and Spencer are the absolute best! They made us feel ultra secure while caring for our pets during our summer vacation. Getting daily messages and pictures of our pets made our vacation more fun, for sure! We will definitely ask them to care for our pets in the future and sincerely recommend Jenna and Spencer to anyone who is concerned about leaving their pets for any amount of time. Dan

Jean took exceptional care of our two cats, Simba and Mini, while we were away. She was reliable, attentive, and kept us updated with photos and messages after each visit, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. When we realized we were running low on cat food, Jean went above and beyond by stopping at a pet store to pick up food for them, which we greatly appreciated. Her kindness, flexibility, and genuine care for our pets really stood out. We returned home to two happy, healthy, and well-cared-for cats. We highly recommend Jean to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter, and we would not hesitate to book with her again. Thank you, Jean, for taking such wonderful care of Simba and Mini! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
