About: I’ve had fur babies in my life since the day I was born. 🐾 As an adult, my husband and I have shared our lives with six dogs and two cats. To me, they’ve never been “just pets”—they are my babies, my kids, and a huge part of our family. ❤️ They have been my comfort, my companions, and my saving grace in more ways than I can count. The only time they’ve ever broken my heart is when it was time to say goodbye and watch them cross the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈🐾 Today, we share our home with Lucy, Leo, and Louie. Lucy and Leo are brother and sister from the same mixed-breed litter, and Louie is our full-blooded German Shepherd. They fill our home with love, laughter, fur, and plenty of personality! 🐶💕 Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life. 🐾 With three fur babies of my own, my daily routine includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and lots of attention. Caring for your babies would fit naturally into my routine, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to make sure they get the love and care they need. ❤️ In between loving and enjoying my own fur babies, I’d love to spend time loving and caring for yours too! 🐾❤️ I’ll make sure your babies are fed, have plenty of fresh water, and get all the attention they deserve. About: Having grown up around everything from hedgehogs to mastiffs and either helped or been responsible for their care, I have a lot of practice in many areas of pet caregiving. I have studied dog and cat behavior in particular, and though my specialty is with cats, I am very well-versed in dog communication as well. I also have experience medicating ill or disabled animals in a way that limits stress and maintains a healthy relationship. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so I can shape my schedule to what's best for your pet. My ideal pairing is with night owls like myself, as I tend to sleep in and stay up late. If you're planning a date night, or if you work late and can't check on them, I can fill in those gaps. I believe that a safe and low-stress environment is best accomplished by knowing who I'm working with. If your pet is skittish around new people, I will move calmly and avoid eye contact or unprompted touch. If they want a playmate for when their people are away, I can be exciting and fun! If I need to do anything that may be stressful to your pet, such as bathing them, correcting behavior, or medicating them, I will take extra time to sit with them and let them hear my voice in a nonthreatening context, to bring the relationship back to something more trusting. I do not wear strong scents or talk loudly, and if play gets too out of hand, I know how to calmly but firmly redirect into more acceptable behaviors.

I was skeptical using Rover but after many years of relying on friends and family to watch our dogs while we are out of town, I knew I had to eventually hire someone, they did not disappoint. Our dogs warmed up to them pretty quickly and that's not always the case with our pups, they made 2 stops at our house before our vacation to get acquainted with the pups which was perfect. The check ins with pictures kept our mind at ease while we were away and they kept in contact as well. I would highly recommend! We will be using them going forward for our pet care needs!”

“Courtney is such a delight. She texted after booking and arranged a time to meet in person. I was able to introduce her to the dogs and show how to Bingo takes his pills. She texted an update with 3 pictures at every visit. I had her visit twice a day at specified time frames. I looked forward to her texts and was relieved and put at ease with each picture sent. I didn’t have to wonder if the dogs got fed while away. She checked on Bingo’s ear for me when requested and sent pic of his ear to help reassure me his infection hadn’t returned. About: I have worked with pups and kittys since I was little, I have done puppy training all the way to taking care of senior pets. I have had much practice over the years with all of my own furry family members and now to having a few solid clients I service on a regular basis before even joining Rover. So I love taking care of folks furry family members including my own Doberman and my sisters cat while she's gone away at college. However I work for the government Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 a.m.-7p.m. so I can be there during the mornings and I can take care of them as soon as I get off work in the evenings for feedings, potty breaks, walks, etc. Unfortunately, I more than likely will not be able to do midday potty breaks so if you're someone who works from home and let's them out frequently it probably will not work out. But if they're used to being in during the day already from work schedules then it should be a perfect fit! I take care of my Doberman pup through trainings with positive reinforcement via toys and treats. I feed him every morning and evening, taking him on walks out in the woods and letting him run wild in our big back yard.

I am also a mom to an almost two year old (human) and I am very responsible. I’m currently not working and I am a student. I LOVE dogs, cats, sloths, sea otters and pretty much all animals in general. I have a huge heart and SO much love to give! I am very energetic, bubbly, and outgoing...I would love to meet some doggies (and maybe some humans in the process too) and give them some lovins' and exercise :) I work part time and my schedule is pretty flexible. I would love to walk your pups or play with them outside of my job. I am available for house sitting dogs and cats. I’m generally available in mornings or afternoons around 4 pm. Since I do work a variety of jobs I just need a days notice but I can usually work around your schedule for the most part! I have experience pet sitting in the home and have done jobs where pet parents are out of town for the weekends or for work trips and I am happy to watch the house as well. I have a kitty cat so I wouldn’t be able to fully board but I’m able to take your doggo on walks, to the park, to a patio, etc etc. I can watch the dog at my house in the backyard but wouldn’t be able to take them inside the home.

About: I have had cats, dogs, rabbits, mice, rats, fish, hermit crabs, tarantulas and many other types of pets of my own (cats and dogs my whole life) as well as cared for friends and family's pets since I was a little kid. I also volunteered at many local animal shelters in my late teens. I also have experience with different types of special needs animals; mostly cats in that aspect. (Paralyzed, deaf, blind, epileptic, diabetic and tri-pod) My daily and weekly schedule changes with my regular work schedule and my kids school schedule, but I am typically available during day time hours on weekdays, most likely at least one available night time drop-in available and can make myself available on Saturdays, if need be. Your pet will be more comfortable in an familiar environment such as their own home, so I would prefer to see them in their own home. I ask you leave a note somewhere prominent (i.e. kitchen table or counter) with quick point reminders of food/water bowl locations, food locations, treats, and any special reminders such as medications w/ times. I will take time to get to know your pet, play with them if they like or pets, loves snuggles... It's really all about what your pet wants/needs from me! I will also have my 17 year old daughter and/or my 12 year old daughter along to help care for your pet(s), if that's OK with you. Between the three of us we can run your whole zoo if you'd like!! We can do walkies for pets that need a little extra excersize. Shopping trips to pet-friendly local areas/shops/parks if wanted/permissible!

About: I’ve taken care of pets from craziness to laziness, big or small, I love em all! I’m excellent at rounding them up for baths, playing with them, going on walks or to dog parks to make friends, and most importantly, keeping them safe! If your pal needs a smile, I’m your gal! I’m currently working part time so I will be available 6am-3pm, Monday - Friday to welcome you and your pal into a fun, safe, and caring environment! If you need to leave me a list of do’s and dont’s pertaining to you and your pals needs, I am adamant on adapting to understand their boundaries, reading their emotions, and finding what they will/wont enjoy.
