About: I currently work as a ‘pet specialist’ in a pet store. I have lots of experience with different breeds, ages, and sizes of dogs. I am also experienced with caring for sick or recovering animals that are in need of specific medical attention along with administering medication. I have experience with reptiles, small animals such as ferrets or guinea pigs, birds, and cats as well. I’m more than willing to handle any task or behavioral specific need you have with any pet. Most importantly I promise to provide them with the best care, love, and playtime:) I currently work part-time, only a few days out of the week, so I will have lots of time to make sure your pet or pets receive all of the love and care they would get on any normal day:) In your home I would always approach the pet with caution and tenderness for any pets that may be timid or weary of new people. For pets that are high energy and outgoing they would receive the same back! With lots of love, playtime, and comfortability!

“Tia came twice a day to administer my cat’s 12 hour medication schedule. One of my cats hisses at people, but Tia was able to win him over. All instructions were followed, and she left my house tidy, even taking out the trash. I highly recommend Tia!”

“Jenna and Spencer were wonderful! They offered to do a meet and greet ahead of time and made me feel completely at ease leaving my cats in their care. They followed all my instructions perfectly and sent lots of photos! I came home to two happy, healthy cats and could not be more grateful for the care they provided!”

“Dana was great with my cat, Remy. She was very responsive via message and flexible when arranging a time to do a meet and greet. Remy can be shy but I was so happy to see that he was out and about with Dana. This really put me at ease while I was gone!”

“Abby was prompt and sent pictures of my little guy during the visit. When we got home, he was very happy! I highly recommend Abby. She is great with animals and very trustworthy.”

“Katherine was super awesome with my rescue who has major trust issues. It's so hard to line up friends and family to let your critters out for potty breaks when you are away. Katherine makes the process much smoother. I felt very comfortable knowing that she was there handle things. She even sent some pics of the dogs!”

“Kaeli was great! Super friendly and I really appreciated the quick turnaround for a meet and greet and first drop in visit. She left me a detailed message about the visit and pictures of our pup having a great time with her! We will definitely be rebooking!”

“Courtney is such a delight. She texted after booking and arranged a time to meet in person. I was able to introduce her to the dogs and show how to Bingo takes his pills. She texted an update with 3 pictures at every visit. I had her visit twice a day at specified time frames. I looked forward to her texts and was relieved and put at ease with each picture sent. I didn’t have to wonder if the dogs got fed while away. She checked on Bingo’s ear for me when requested and sent pic of his ear to help reassure me his infection hadn’t returned. She charmed my bossy, beautiful, bratty Yorkie!! I will NEVER kennel my dogs again. I strongly recommend Courtney!! I just hope she doesn’t get too popular that she is hard for me to book again. Thanks Courtney!!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
