“We had the most amazing experience with Corinna! ! From the very first meeting, my dog connected with her instantly — which says everything. She has such a calm, warm energy, and you can truly tell she loves what she does. Her home is incredibly welcoming and comfortable for pets — clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up so they feel safe and relaxed. I had complete peace of mind knowing my dog was not only cared for, but genuinely loved while I was away. Budders made herself at home, instantly. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional pet care! Thank you Corinna! XO Budders”

“Jake did a wonderful job taking care of our dog, Sammy! She unexpectedly came down with diarrhea during her stay, but he handled the situation with patience, care, and great communication. He kept us updated, made sure she was comfortable, and even went the extra mile to help her feel better. It gave us peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands while we were away. We’re very grateful for the care he provided and would absolutely trust Jake to watch Sammy again. Highly recommend!”

“Nina loved staying with Marissa who was very quick to respond and consistenly sent Nina's photos an updates two times a day. Nina always looked happy and relaxed. We will definitively use Marissa again.”

About: My household has had dogs for the past 12 years. I have watched dogs for other families while they are away several times over the past 10 years. I work very well with energetic and stubborn breeds. Frequents walks. Almost always home. I am a stay at home mom of older children. I am almost always home, and will ensure a fun and yet peaceful environment. Thank you for your consideration. I do have a fenced in yard that is smaller, and live very close to a dog park if desired. I can seperate our dog on a lower level if there is ever any issues, or space is need.
“Nyjeah W. Took good care of my Schnoodle Dog Hosanna and my cat Shylynn she was very responsive with updates, very reliable. I would recommend her if you need someone to watch your loving pets she's the best.”

“I was really impressed with the way Taylor made arrangements so quickly after another sitter canceled a week before. The dogs were well taken care of, cage free, fenced in back yard, and they even had a playmate. Several pictures daily. I felt really comfortable. I was starting to Miss them, The last day. Very good communication, compassion and care all around.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who loves all creatures big or small, furry or scaly. I grew up with pets of all kinds and have always enjoyed caring for them, spending time with them, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I currently have a dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your beloved pet. He’s a pit/boxer mix and is super friendly and gets along with other pups. I also have a human baby, so I’d prefer your fur baby be good with kiddos, but I can keep them separate if needed. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, feeding, or simply some extra love while you’re away, I’d be happy to help! My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your furry family members receive plenty of attention, care, and affection. 🐾❤️ I have my own in-home daycare with little ones M-F so I am home all the time, making it convenient for me to care for your furry friend when needed. We usually spend a majority of our days in the basement where I have my daycare space set up, so the animals can have a quieter area (unless they’d rather be with me and the kiddos) on the main floor, which is fairly spacious. My husband also has a flexible job where he can work at home fairly often, so he will also be around to help with the animals when needed. I have a smaller sized fenced backyard and a super friendly and submissive 5-year old pup of my own that can help make your pet feel comfortable here. Your fur friend has free range of the house, but I can also crate him/her if preferred.
“Mary is literally the best pup sitter. She takes such care of our pup like he is her own. You can tell her heart belongs to the dogs she sits for by how she takes care of them. You won't be sorry for choosing Mary.”

“Erica was wonderful. She had us meet her to go over details before the actual stay. She was very thorough and wanted to know all about my dog’s typical day. Her goal was for him to be as comfortable as possible. Her backyard is fenced and her home is neat and tidy. It was a very warm and cozy environment for my dog to settle into while he was there. She sent me some pictures of him and checked in with me so I knew everything was going well. I felt 100% confident that he was well taken care of!”

“This was our first experience with the Rover app and Shannon taking care of Maggie. It could not have been a better experience! Shannon was great with communication and very timely. We had boarding arrangements elsewhere and they canceled at the last minute. Shannon was quick to reply to my inquiry and helped me navigate the Rover app. The "Meet & Greet" went very well with Maggie meeting Shannon's personal K-9 companions. Right from the start, we were very comfortable and confident that Shannon would take great care of Maggie. She was very personable and kept us informed during our travels with pics/updates. When arriving to pick her up, Maggie was happy & seemingly didn't care that we had returned. It was very obvious that Maggie was well cared for and SPOILED! We highly recommend Shannon and won't hesitate to use her again. (6+ 🌟)”

“Addison watched our cat Maxwell for 10 days, and she did a great job! She stayed in touch with us during the trip sending updates and pictures of Maxwell. We really appreciated that! She put in alot of effort trying to make him feel comfortable, and connecting with him. I can definitely recommend her as a pet sitter, and would book her again in a heartbeat to watch our cat.”

“Tia did such a great job taking care of our two cats during our vacation! We really appreciated her thoughtfulness in sending detailed report cards with every visit, and enjoyed the cute pictures that reassured us that our boys were happy and well cared for. Tia was conscientious in taking care of all the other little tasks like watering plants, filling the bird feeders, and cleaning up cat oopsies. It was great to come in the door upon our return after a long day of travel and having no issues to deal with! Would highly recommend Tia and we look forward to booking her for our next trip.”

About: Growing up on a farm, we always seemed to have plenty of stray cats around. 🐱 I can remember trying so hard to pick them up and love on them, only for them to run away from me! 😂 As an adult, my family and I have been blessed with two cats who became very special parts of our family. Both have since crossed the Rainbow Bridge, taking a little piece of our hearts with them. 🌈🐾❤️
“I just completed my first experience with Rover.com and I was really happy with the experience! Jenna provided great care for my three cats and made it much easier to leave for a few days. The daily pictures and updates were reassuring and Jenna was quick to respond to emails or text messages.”
“Our first time with Sophia was great. She followed instructions during the daily visits, communicated clearly, and was adaptive with feedback. Thank you so much for caring for my crew!!!”

“Dana was great with my cat, Remy. She was very responsive via message and flexible when arranging a time to do a meet and greet. Remy can be shy but I was so happy to see that he was out and about with Dana. This really put me at ease while I was gone!”

“Does a great job keeping my ferrets' space clean for them and keeping up with meds for my cats and ferrets. Is very punctual and I know my pets will get taken care of on schedule when she is booked, which really helps with the stress of being away from my fuzzy guys.”

About: Having grown up around everything from hedgehogs to mastiffs and either helped or been responsible for their care, I have a lot of practice in many areas of pet caregiving. I have studied dog and cat behavior in particular, and though my specialty is with cats, I am very well-versed in dog communication as well. I also have experience medicating ill or disabled animals in a way that limits stress and maintains a healthy relationship. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so I can shape my schedule to what's best for your pet. My ideal pairing is with night owls like myself, as I tend to sleep in and stay up late. If you're planning a date night, or if you work late and can't check on them, I can fill in those gaps. I believe that a safe and low-stress environment is best accomplished by knowing who I'm working with. If your pet is skittish around new people, I will move calmly and avoid eye contact or unprompted touch. If they want a playmate for when their people are away, I can be exciting and fun! If I need to do anything that may be stressful to your pet, such as bathing them, correcting behavior, or medicating them, I will take extra time to sit with them and let them hear my voice in a nonthreatening context, to bring the relationship back to something more trusting. I do not wear strong scents or talk loudly, and if play gets too out of hand, I know how to calmly but firmly redirect into more acceptable behaviors.

“Abby was prompt and sent pictures of my little guy during the visit. When we got home, he was very happy! I highly recommend Abby. She is great with animals and very trustworthy.”

“Courtney was amazing caring for Peanut. Peanut likes to hide when we are gone. We did show her his hiding spot. She was great at sending us pictures of him. And as time went on, he even came out of his hiding spot and rubbed up against her leg. So that was amazing!! She took excellent care of him and I would highly recommend her!”

About: I have worked with pups and kittys since I was little, I have done puppy training all the way to taking care of senior pets. I have had much practice over the years with all of my own furry family members and now to having a few solid clients I service on a regular basis before even joining Rover. So I love taking care of folks furry family members including my own Doberman and my sisters cat while she's gone away at college. However I work for the government Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 a.m.-7p.m. so I can be there during the mornings and I can take care of them as soon as I get off work in the evenings for feedings, potty breaks, walks, etc. Unfortunately, I more than likely will not be able to do midday potty breaks so if you're someone who works from home and let's them out frequently it probably will not work out. But if they're used to being in during the day already from work schedules then it should be a perfect fit! I take care of my Doberman pup through trainings with positive reinforcement via toys and treats. I feed him every morning and evening, taking him on walks out in the woods and letting him run wild in our big back yard.
“Kaeli was great! Super friendly and I really appreciated the quick turnaround for a meet and greet and first drop in visit. She left me a detailed message about the visit and pictures of our pup having a great time with her! We will definitely be rebooking!”

About: I've had cats my whole life (22 years), so I've had my fair share of cleaning litter boxes, treats, play time, brushing, feeding, etc. I have 3 cats right now and 2 are on medicine (pill and insulin) so I also feel comfortable being able to administer medication to your cat! I love seeing different personalities and colorings in cats and Hi! I’m a dependable and patient pet sitter with a special soft spot for cats having grown up with them! I understand that every cat has their own personality — some are playful and social, while others prefer quiet company and their personal space. I take the time to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for at their own pace. I’m experienced with daily feeding routines, litter box cleaning, playtime, administering basic medications if needed, and giving plenty of attention (or space!) depending on what your cat prefers. 2 out of 3 of my personal cats is on medicine (pill and insulin) so I am no stranger to administering medicine. I also know how important consistency and a calm environment are for cats, especially while their owners are away. I’ll make sure you stay updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your cat is happy and well cared for. I will treat every pet like they’re my own and make their time away from you as stress-free as possible as I know I would want the same for my furry babies! I’d love to meet you and your cat!

“Katherine was super awesome with my rescue who has major trust issues. It's so hard to line up friends and family to let your critters out for potty breaks when you are away. Katherine makes the process much smoother. I felt very comfortable knowing that she was there handle things. She even sent some pics of the dogs!”

About: Cats were a part of my household my whole childhood, and I love being in their company! I love kittens, and have experience with very young kits due to having rescued a few that were left to fend for themselves, but don’t mind a cat young or old!
“I have a job that is on-call, so I find myself asking for a pet sitter somewhat last minute sometimes. Emily is great for those calls and also for when I know a need a sitter in advance! Emily clearly has a passion for dogs; my dog loves her! She goes the extra mile to make sure she knows exactly what my dog needs and wants and to make sure my dog is a happy and healthy pooch when I can't be home! Thanks, Emily! I will be a repeat customer.”

“Took care of older cat and young cat who are still working things out. I felt so much better leaving them in Breanne's care. She is knowledgeable and attentive. And goes above and beyond.”

“We had a good first experience with Emilie as Poppy’s sitter. Poppy seemed to do well during her stay, and we appreciated receiving photo updates while we were away. Communication was smooth throughout, and we didn’t have any complaints. We would be more than comfortable booking with Emilie again in the future.”

“Sierra and Lucas were amazing! They were very prompt to respond and were able to accommodate an almost last minute request. They were very adaptive to our ever changing schedule and gave us wonderful updates throughout the day. Bailey was only there for about 6 hours but it was clear she had a blast and left very tired :) If you are in the area I HIGHLY suggest them to watch your dog.”

“Very patient and kind with a dog you don’t know and will probably not see again since we’re traveling. Thank you for your kindness and care of Judy, as well as tips to help her adjust.”

“We really appreciated Emily's keeping us posted on how our dog Maggie was adjusting to a new environment. Emily and family were very loving and caring toward our dog Maggie.”

“Sherry was kind enough to watch our pup on Thanksgiving day so we could spend the day with my husband’s grandma at her assisted living center, which meant so much… thank you! Both her and her husband were incredibly kind and took great care of Geno for us <3”

About: Hi! I'm Jenna. The "Me every time I see a dog. Do you share this reaction?" meme with Andy from Parks & Recreation is literally me every time I see a dog. I LOVE dogs, cats, sloths, sea otters and pretty much all animals in general. I have a huge heart and SO much love to give! I am very energetic, bubbly, and outgoing...I would love to meet some doggies (and maybe some humans in the process too) and give them some lovins' and exercise :) I work part time and my schedule is pretty flexible. I would love to walk your pups or play with them outside of my job. I am available for house sitting dogs and cats. I’m generally available in mornings or afternoons around 4 pm. Since I do work a variety of jobs I just need a days notice but I can usually work around your schedule for the most part! I have experience pet sitting in the home and have done jobs where pet parents are out of town for the weekends or for work trips and I am happy to watch the house as well. I have a kitty cat so I wouldn’t be able to fully board but I’m able to take your doggo on walks, to the park, to a patio, etc etc. I can watch the dog at my house in the backyard but wouldn’t be able to take them inside the home.
About: I provide attentive and loving care to pets of all sizes, from small lap dogs to active breeds, as well as bunnies, cats and birds. As I work from home, your pet will receive consistent attention throughout the day, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. I take time to understand their needs so they feel secure and relaxed. Every pet in my care is treated as if they were my own. With my work from home environment I am able to deal with pets all times during the week. I do travel some weeks, in which I will not take on any pets. I am flexible on schedules. In the spring I will note I coach, and may be gone for 2-3 hours maximum on some nights if there is an overnight pet. This scheduling information will of be provided ahead of time to ensure you know exactly how your pet will be cared for. As I work from home your pet will be watched all day. Whether they choose to join me or relax elsewhere in the house is up to their preference. I do not have a kennel and am okay with pets being able to roam. I also want to break up my day so they will get walks every 2-4 hours if they would like. I also have a fenced yard that I can see from my office if they are wanting to spend more time outside. Personally I’ll probably be outside with them :)

“Allison was absolutely wonderful with our two dogs, a playful and high energy 5 year old pug and a very high needs senior. She is so loving with them, and is very patient and focused on our senior dog’s needs. We were totally confident that they were cared for so well all day. We are so grateful to have found her! Ellie and Jake loved their time with her and can’t wait to stay with her again.”

“Tiffany was great! We were traveling through Iowa and needed a place to leave Tommy for the afternoon so we could take a riverboat sightseeing tour. Due to poor planning on my part we had to find someone just a few days before our trip, but Tiffany responded to my request very quickly and was able to take him on short notice. She was so kind, and Tommy warmed up to her quickly. We really appreciated having a great place to take him for the afternoon!”

“Grant was a lifesaver for me and my puppies! As a busy night shift nurse I was not sleeping during the day so I could give my puppies attention. It all became too much so that’s when I decided to find a puppy daycare for them. I found Grant and he was open to watching them during the day for me so I can get some sleep! My 8month old puppy Cricket is a shy/ nervous girl and my 3 month old puppy Junebug is rambunctious and sassy. They both loved going to daycare and were thoroughly wore out after spending the day playing at Grant’s house!”

“Tia is GREAT! I booked with her when my normal reoccurring walker had to take some time off. She came early before the walk and stayed late to make sure my dog was doing well. She leaves good notes about the walks and communicates very well. I would HIGHLY recommend booking walks with Tia!”

About: I’ve had fur babies in my life since the day I was born. 🐾 As an adult, my husband and I have shared our lives with six dogs and two cats. To me, they’ve never been “just pets”—they are my babies, my kids, and a huge part of our family. ❤️ They have been my comfort, my companions, and my saving grace in more ways than I can count. The only time they’ve ever broken my heart is when it was time to say goodbye and watch them cross the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈🐾 Today, we share our home with Lucy, Leo, and Louie. Lucy and Leo are brother and sister from the same mixed-breed litter, and Louie is our full-blooded German Shepherd. They fill our home with love, laughter, fur, and plenty of personality! 🐶💕 Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life. 🐾 With three fur babies of my own, my daily routine includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and lots of attention. Caring for your babies would fit naturally into my routine, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to make sure they get the love and care they need. ❤️ In between loving and enjoying my own fur babies, I’d love to spend time loving and caring for yours too! 🐾❤️ I’ll make sure your babies are fed, have plenty of fresh water, and get all the attention they deserve. We’ll go for walks, play in the backyard, enjoy lots of cuddles, and, of course, play that wonderful game where they bring me the ball—but refuse to give it back so I can throw it again! 😂🎾🐶 Most importantly, I’ll care for your babies just like I would want someone to care for mine—with lots of love, patience, and attention. ❤️🐾

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life! I have always had cats while growing up and currently have three precious kitties and a pup. I also had a pup while growing up too. I live in an area with several other dogs your dog could play with and I would love to have a hiking buddy for a couple of days too! I live by a dog park too so your pup could socialize and play with other lovely dogs that are in the area. I also have a quite large fenced in back yard for your pup to romp around in. I will welcome your dog into my home with open arms. I will spoil your pup(s) with my love and attention and treats too! I am looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby(ies).

About: Going out of town? Want to leave your pet in the comfort of their home rather than boarding them somewhere that stresses them out? Want to leave them with someone who will give them tons of TLC? Then I'm your gal! I have been petsitting for over 20 years, and I've had my own business for 15 years (Happy Tails). I have a lot of energy myself, but am also content to sit around and cuddle, so any energy dog is fine with me! I've taken care of dogs with health needs, administered many medications including insulin shots, liquids and pills, and worked with deaf and blind animals. I have owned and fostered/rescued many animals and many breeds in my lifetime. Please contact me if you're interested, and feel free to check out my Facebook page for reviews (Happy Tails QC). Thank you! As this is my full-time job, I have a lot of time daily to care for your furbabies, & I'm available 365 days a year! I care for pets in the owners home. I come by three times a day for 20-30 minutes each time. I can also do walks!
About: I have had dogs and loved them my entire life. I grew up with Rottweilers and St Benards so the big ones definitely have my heart. I currently have two Border Collie X Australian Shepherd mixes that are incredibly friendly and smart. I started my pet professional career out in 2012 as a kennel technician at the Clinton Humane Society. I have worked for two different vet clinics as a vet technician giving medications, doing ivs, doing wound care, and being apart of surgery staff. I do some special handling dog training for anxious and semi aggressive dogs. My passion for special handling dogs started when I trained as a pet stylist. I got hands on experience helping stressed dogs relax and make situations better for them. I currently work in the Quad Cities as a pet stylist, working with both dogs and cats. I am very familiar and comfortable working with all kinds of animals be it furry, scaley or feathery. I do animal care for individual animals and also for hobby farms with chickens, ducks, goats, llamas and sheep. I am a very particular person when it comes to my own animals' care. Being very detailed oriented and handling your pets care is important to me. I think they deserve their care to be attentive and comfortable. Animals are not only something I am very passionate about but what I have revolved my life around. My days start around 5-5:30am. I typically take the dogs for a walk and have an hour to give them a bathroom break. I work as a pet stylist from 7-3:30. I can give bathroom breaks on my lunch break as needed. I keep all dogs leashed when outside to guarantee their safety. I have a fenced in back/side yard where I monitor dogs so they can be off leash if they are able to be trusted. I never leave pets unattended. I can kennel dogs to keep separate if needed. I am also trained in animal first aid. I deep clean and sanitize everything frequently.

“Heather was incredible!! Stanley stayed in her home for 23 days and he had the best time! We got frequent photo updates of him getting treated with so much love and care, it gave us great peace of mind while we travelled. I can't recommend boarding with Heather enough!”

“I highly recommend this couple. Emilie and Michael cared for our puppy while we were away and they did an amazing job. Good natured couple. Also their dog Lila is a gentle giant. She got along very well with our puppy. We will definitely use their services again. Five Stars.”

“Left our 12 yr. old springer spaniel with Mike and Sherry for 10 days and were very pleased that he seemed to be very comfortable and right at home. Enjoyed the many photos that were sent along with updates on how he was doing. Will definately call upon them in to future.”

“Joe was really great with my dog who has separation anxiety. He took the time to let her get comfortable and trust him. He also checked in throughout, which gave us peace of mind!”
