I've worked in animal welfare for almost eight years. I was a shelter manager and later assistant director for two local shelters. When I worked at shelters, I was one of many primary care takers for between 80-150 cats and 8-15 dogs. I'd monitor wellness, provide enrichment, and provide all necessary medication for animals. I am vaccine certified and comfortable with dogs of any breed/size, cats, many small mammals and most birds.

I am deeply familiar with any and all signs of illness in animals after having worked in animal shelters for so long. I can also read dog body language, I am fear-free certified and able to work with reactive pups. I will send frequent photos and updates, I know pets are family! I recognize I am a guest in your home and will follow any and all rules provided.

I have had Andrea watch my cat Spice twice for extended periods time, and both times she has outdone herself! She always goes the extra mile with my pet. Prior to me leaving for my trip, Andrea made the time to meet my pet before I left to get to know where everything Spice needs is. She keeps me updated with videos, pictures, and phone calls while i’m away. Andrea takes the time to play with her and learn how she specifically needs to be cared for, and even gives my cat her treats. I’ve never had a doubt in my mind that my cat is happy, safe, and well cared for when i’m gone for more than 2 weeks at a time. I’ve trusted Andrea and she outdoes herself and i’m so appreciative!!
Andrea is devoted to the care of pets. She's watched my 3 dogs several times and they love her!! They still get super excited when they see her!
Andrea was a great help by stopping in and letting our dog out. She is great with animals and I trust her to be in our home caring for our pet.

Schedule
I work full time Monday through Friday. I have semi-flexible 8:00-5:00 work hours and an hour lunch. I work partially from home and can work from your home if needed.
