I would love to walk your pups or play with them outside of my job. I am available for house sitting dogs and cats. I’m generally available in mornings or afternoons around 4 pm. Since I do work a variety of jobs I just need a days notice but I can usually work around your schedule for the most part! I have experience pet sitting in the home and have done jobs where pet parents are out of town for the weekends or for work trips and I am happy to watch the house as well. About: Hello! I have experience with generally small/medium dogs. I grew up and cared for my lil yorkshire terrier, named Tommy throughout most of my youth. He received all the snuggles, belly rubs, yard play, and walks! Enjoying his best life with loved ones.. I recently moved into a new townhome and traveling every so often, I did not want to commit with my own fur baby just yet. This app allows me to love and care for pets as my own but without the long term commitment. Please know your pet will be loved as if it was my own and will be given all the snuggles and attention. With flexible availability, I hope to make your pet at home when you're not able to be there! I work from home Monday-Friday, so will be available to take out your pet throughout the day for potty breaks that works with their normal routine. I am able to take them out for longer walks during my lunch time, and also after work. You can trust that I will give your pet all the love and attention as if it was my own. Play toys, give them treats (if allowed), bring them on walks! I do live in a townhome, but am available at home everyday and will be able to take them out frequently.

About: Having grown up around everything from hedgehogs to mastiffs and either helped or been responsible for their care, I have a lot of practice in many areas of pet caregiving. I have studied dog and cat behavior in particular, and though my specialty is with cats, I am very well-versed in dog communication as well. I also have experience medicating ill or disabled animals in a way that limits stress and maintains a healthy relationship. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so I can shape my schedule to what's best for your pet. My ideal pairing is with night owls like myself, as I tend to sleep in and stay up late. If you're planning a date night, or if you work late and can't check on them, I can fill in those gaps. I believe that a safe and low-stress environment is best accomplished by knowing who I'm working with. If your pet is skittish around new people, I will move calmly and avoid eye contact or unprompted touch. If they want a playmate for when their people are away, I can be exciting and fun! If I need to do anything that may be stressful to your pet, such as bathing them, correcting behavior, or medicating them, I will take extra time to sit with them and let them hear my voice in a nonthreatening context, to bring the relationship back to something more trusting. I do not wear strong scents or talk loudly, and if play gets too out of hand, I know how to calmly but firmly redirect into more acceptable behaviors.
About: I have been taking care of animals literally my whole we haven’t always had dogs or cat in the house always. Dogs with higher energy have different needs than elderly dogs, so I try to be sensitive to that. About: I have worked with pups and kittys since I was little, I have done puppy training all the way to taking care of senior pets. I have had much practice over the years with all of my own furry family members and now to having a few solid clients I service on a regular basis before even joining Rover. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
