All care is on-site in a controlled home and yard, with a predictable environment where dogs can settle comfortably. I’m retired, so my schedule is relaxed and easy to work around. I have plenty of time to keep your pup happy and engaged, and I enjoy making their day fun and interesting. Most of my availability is during daytime hours, with occasional morning or evening care when needed. I also send regular photo updates so you can see how your dog’s day is going. I provide low-volume, safety-focused care in a calm, controlled home environment. I work with only one client household at a time, allowing for focused attention and a predictable, low-stress experience. My home features a large, secure fenced yard with locked gates and a clean, level surface for safe movement and play. I avoid dog parks and chaotic group settings. Instead, I use structured routines, careful introductions, and close supervision to prevent issues before they arise and help dogs settle comfortably. I pay close attention to canine body language and stress signals, adjusting as needed to keep each dog feeling relaxed and secure. My goal is simple: dogs feel safe, understood, and well cared for at all times. For new clients, I require a brief meet-and-greet to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.

About: I have been taking care of animals my entire life. I was raised around animals and treat them all like they are my own. I have experience with puppies, dog walking, and managing multiple dogs at one time. I currently work full time at a school but I like to take care of animals when I am free. I have a lot of time off and my weekend is open for any fur baby that needs me. I think trust is important when it comes to animals. Animals need to smell you first to get to know you. I always let an animal smell my hand and then I’ll ease into petting them once I can tell from body language if they want me to.
