“Jennifer gave us updates regularly about how our pup was doing. She was very responsive and flexible with pick up and drop off times. Our dog had a great visit with her. Thanks !”

“Nathan and family were great! Very communicative and our dog seemed right at home! Which is huge because she has high anxiety but she loved it with Nathan and crew. Will definitely be rebooking soon.”

“Allison has been an absolute blessing! She took care of our Max (our golden doodle) while we were on our vacation .She was prompt, reliable, trustworthy and was updating us with Max’s photos on a daily basis which was always comforting. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind hearted dog sitter. Thank you Allison !!!!”

“I just want to say Stephanie is AMAZING! It is really hard finding someone to watch my fur babies because one is a pitbul and the other a bully, but Stephanie and her family took both of them in and took care of them like they were her own. Thank you for all the photos and updates as well! I will definitely use Stephanie again!!! Thank you again so much!!”

“Emmeline treated my Boston Max like part of there family. I met her at a park down the street from her families house. She was kind and very organized. When I dropped Max off we were greeted with a smile. Her family home is beautiful and inviting. We received daily pictures and he was well taken care of. Which gave my family great deal of peace. Thank you again!”

“I cannot recommend Steven enough! My dog is quite skittish with strangers and has a very specific routine at home, so I was nervous about boarding. Steven was incredibly understanding and listened to all my concerns, but what impressed me most was how he prioritized reading her body language over just following my instructions blindly. He understood that she might behave differently in a new environment and adapted brilliantly. Despite the challenges of a different household dynamic—managing a 'grazer' around his own dog and mirroring our busy family routine—he made her feel right at home. By the first night, she was eating, playing, and even sleeping in her crate! If you want a sitter who truly understands dog psychology and provides personalized care, Steven is the one.”

I love to walk, but tailor my services to your dogs needs. Want me to have them socialize with my dog, done. Want me to keep the dogs separate, I can do that too. Message me and let me know what you need! Something that separates me from others: I understand some dogs are just vocal and not aggressive. Thank you and I’m looking forward to meeting you and your dog(s). I don’t discriminate based on gender, gender expression, religion, age, sexual orientation, race, or for any other reason. I welcome and respect all people and dogs Stay at home mom with a dog of my own, this allows me to adjust my daily schedule to your pets needs. I go on daily walks when it isn’t too hot. I have a fenced yard and a dog for your dog to socialize, but also have room to keep them separate if preferred. Dogs are fed as much and as often as requested by owner along with the amount of potty breaks. If the pet is house trained they are also allowed to be in the home. I love to give dogs treats so they can expect treats when they are over if approved by you!
“Mk was amazing! My dog had a great time during the stay, got plenty of attention and playtime. Mk was super attentive, friendly, and made sure my puppy was comfortable and happy. I also got updates throughout the day which gave me peace of mind. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable and loving care for their furry friend!”

“An is such an amazing woman! She was so sweet kept me updated about my puppy and everything they did together with photos! I will be coming back when we do need a pup sitter! She was very accommodating, and very helpful! Thank you so much girly!”
“We recently hired Margerita to take care of our fur baby while we were away. We couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Margerita was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring towards our pet. She always updated us with pictures and videos whenever I asked her. It was very easy to communicate with her throughout the time she had our pet. It was really sweet of her to pack some treats in the bag when we picked him up. I can totally see that my pet was missing his two friends he made while living with her. I will definitely recommend her and will hire in future if needed.”

“Bridget is wonderful, this was our 3rd time having her dog sit and the peace of mind she enables as well as her communication while we are apart is truly amazing. We adore Bridget and so do our pups. My only difficulty is deciding how good to make her sound because we want her to be our lifetime sitter and she may run out of space if y’all decide to entrust her with your furbabies too. Thanks for everything Bridg!”

“We had Marissa keep our dog at her home while we went out of town for a long weekend and I was very satisfied with the care she gave out little Lady. She loves animals and takes great care of one's entrusted to her. I was sent pictures, texts and video updates throughout the weekend which reassured me that Lady was happy and well cared for. The next time a need arises Marissa will be the first one I call. Thank you Marissa.”

“I am 100% satisfied with Nadine’s pet care service. My cats Curzon and Jadzia were welcomed and and enjoyed being with her house pets and got along so well with multiple cats. I was so pleased to get daily picture updates and Nadine responded timely to all my text messages. I highly recommend her for cat boarding and genuine pet care.”

About: Hello my name is Shondra and I absolutely love dogs. I am retired so your pup will not be left alone. I have always had dogs my whole life. I have trained bird dogs (German short haired pointer) to hunt which I no longer do but I would love to take care of your pup as if it were my own. I walk my pup everyday so if your pup likes walks he or she can go with us. My house is clean so your pup will not be eating anything that will hurt him or her. I will send you pictures everyday of our activities. I have saved my dog Kiddy (who has now passed away at 19yrs old) from near death when she was 16yrs old. She had an infected tooth which got into her blood and caused her to almost die. the doctor gave her antibiotics but she wasn't eating or drinking for days. I put in a blender chicken and pedialyte, I then poured it into a feeding syringe and carefully put it in her mouth, I did this for 2 days and she came back to life. She got her tooth pulled as soon as she was better. I wanted to tell my story so you know that I will do whatever it takes to care for your pup. Our fur babies are family❤️❤️🙏 I am retired and home to take care of your pup. I do have one little dog and 2 cats. My pup is on an eating schedule and walking schedule so if your pup is on any schedule I will accommodate. My dogs and cats are my family members, your dogs and cats will be my extended family members. Making your fur babies comfortable will be my main priority. I have a fenced yard and I live close to a park for your fur babies daily exercise. I have an unfenced pool but I’m very careful about the dogs getting too close. I know how to give medication if your pup has a prescription. I will feed your fur baby at anytime you desire. I do prefer small to medium size dogs, if your fur baby likes to be on the couch I'm ok with that. I can provide a crate if your pup likes sleeping in one or if you prefer to bring your own that's ok as well. All animals have to be potty trained. I watch a friend's fur baby who uses a dog litter box so if you need to bring one I'm ok with that. I will love your pup as I love my own so he or she will aways feel comfortable in my house. I boil chicken for dog treats so if your pup likes treats he or she will love this.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
