Until Melissa, we had not found anyone or any kennel staff that would be trained properly and be confident in handling mid- to large-size dogs. CARING, EXPERIENCED and CONFIDENT - Melissa opened her doors to our Sassy (a Rottie) even knowing she didn’t get along with other female dogs (Melissa owns 2 female dogs). This was the first time we would try a private home setting and we were a bit uneasy about it — and even more so with other pups present in the home. However, Melissa's approach of meet-and-greet first, and CARING, CONFIDENT attitude, put us at ease right from the beginning!! Melissa’s communication with us prior to providing care let us know she is an EXPERIENCED dog owner and care giver. By the time we were on our way to our meet-and-greet we were excited and were hoping she would say yes to keeping our Sassy! RESPONSIBLE DOG OWNER and CARE GIVER - Melissa’s meet-and-greet policy prior to committing to service shows she is not only a responsible dog owner, but also a responsible dog-sitting service provider. Melissa met and kept Sassy for a couple of hours before making her decision to keep her. She wanted to know if she could handle our pup and her personality before committing to taking care of her. By doing this Melissa was ensuring the safety and well-being of her pups as well as our Sassy’s — VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!! Had Melissa found out she was not going to be able to meet her own requirements of safety and well-being with our particular pup, we would still praise her for it and would be thankful — it is the responsible thing to do!!! ATTENTION to DETAIL - Melissa’s attention to detail is AMAZING! And it shows that she cares for our pup as if it were her own. She responded to all my messages within a short period of time, with genuine feedback and acknowledgment of our concerns. Our Sassy turned 7 years old while in her care and Melissa had a mini celebration for her and sent us adorable pics of Sassy wearing a birthday hat, and next to a plush-toy cake❤️ PEACE of MIND - Melissa was a blessing and a gift during a very-much needed rest and mental recharge time. We were able to go on our extended break with peace of mind and without the daily stress of worrying about our pup being somewhere we were not fully confident about. Melissa kept us updated every day with photos of Sassy’s activities. Sassy looked very happy with her sassy face and her split tongue hanging out!!! Additionally, the home-care setting gave us a sense of peace and JOY that our pup was being taken care of in a setting similar to the one she is used to, AND with the same love and care we provide her with. Even though we had just met Melissa, we were excited about our Sassy having a great time at her home 24/7, as opposed being confined to a kennel 24/7 and no human presence overnight. ABOVE and BEYOND - Not only Melissa said she, could keep our Sassy, she also let us know she would use the opportunity to work on socialization skills while she boarded with them!!! We are VERY THANKFUL for, and EXTREMELY PLEASED and ECSTATIC with Melissa’s services!!! We will DEFINITELY USE her services AGAIN and HIGHLY RECOMMEND her!!!”

I have experience sitting extremely vocal dogs who most people would think are aggressive, but really they just like to bark. Please disclose if your dog is not good around children when booking! I have a fenced yard and a dog for your dog to socialize, but also have room to keep them separate if preferred. Dogs are fed as much and as often as requested by owner along with the amount of potty breaks. If the pet is house trained they are also allowed to be in the home. I love to give dogs treats so they can expect treats when they are over if approved by you!
