“Tyler has been excellent at communicating and watching over everything. I am very excited and definitely plan to rebook them. Highly recommend his efforts; he's good with dogs all around. Followed every instruction that was given. Open and ask if I needed anything else afterwards and even left all a treat to take home I highly recommend him.”

“Mrs. Rochelle is simply amazing and has a beautiful family that helps her. She is very patient and kind. Our Taz can be a bit rambunctious but she said he did well. She sent photos while we were away on our trip. My grandpups were well taken care of. We will definitely use Mrs. Rochelle again. Thank you so much for caring for our fur babies.”

“Celia was very kind, understanding and helpful she accepted my last minute request. Great person and I felt extremely safe leaving my husky with her, she made sure to attend ALL my dogs needs. She made sure my dog was safe and loved for her stay! I absolutely recommend her to anyone needing someone to take care of their pet! 10/10 service and very trustworthy.”

“This was my first time booking on Rover so I was anxious luckily Allison agreed to a meet and greet before booking. I ended up taking both my dogs to her while I was away on vacation and I had no issues. She is very responsive and sends updates daily- which I loved. Both my pups seemed to fit right in with hers and when I came back they were as happy as they were when I left - no doubt they were shown a lot a love that they didn’t even have time to miss us.lol”

“Nathan and family were great! Very communicative and our dog seemed right at home! Which is huge because she has high anxiety but she loved it with Nathan and crew. Will definitely be rebooking soon.”

“We traveled from Phoenix to Manteca to visit the Great Wolf Lodge with relatives. They allow no pets. We were very pleased to find Bridget on Rover…even more pleased that our dog was happy!”

“Emmeline worked out perfectly for us! She was very responsive to our needs and when we met prior to the stay, Lola took to her right away. She was thorough in making sure she had all the info she might need for Lola’s care. The pictures that Emmeline sent throughout Lola’s visit were so adorable and let me know that she was in very good hands. Great experience! Thank you, Emmeline!”
“Booked Jasmine to watch my dog Toby 4 days and 4 nights over Thanksgiving. Before booking, Jasmine agreed on a meet and greet just to confirm that Toby felt comfortable with her. Dropped Toby off Tuesday about 6pm and picked him up Saturday at about 6 pm. Over those 4 days Jasmine would send updates morning, noon, and night along with videos of Toby walking or playing with her dog Molly. Could not have been happier with the care Toby received and since he has been home he has seemed alot calmer than before I dropped him off. I would recommend Jasmine to anyone as she is definitely a 5 STAR sitter. I will for sure book her again in the future when needed.”

“I have never used a dog sitter until today and I am happy with the way Ana cared for my baby Butch, that I will be a customer for life now! Ana treated my dogwith such love and care that I will only want her to dog sit for me from now on! Thank you sooooooo much, Ana! You Totally Rock As A Pet Sitter I will Always Use Only You Now!!!”

“Justine did an amazing job with Willa. This was Willa's first boarding so that is always a little nerve-wracking but Justine was very communicative the whole time. Will be booking again in the near future.”

About: Hello! I’ve been teaching first graders for 24 years. While on breaks from teaching, I enjoy being a substitute doggy daycare provider. My fur baby goes to doggy daycare when I’m teaching first graders, so I know what it’s like to entrust others with your loved one! This is where I’ve been trained by the best Doggy Daycare provider in Lathrop! I substitute at my dog’s daycare when I’m not teaching first graders. I’ll be retiring from teaching soon, but in the meantime, I’m available on weekends when your regular provider isn’t available. I’m planning to start Labor Day Weekend in my home. Please plan to book in advance, so we can introduce your fur babies to my fur baby. My schnoodle gets along great with others at her doggy daycare, but having new friends visiting her at her house will be new for both of us, so we will want to set up a meet and greet, so everyone passes the “Sniff Test!” I’m more experienced with Shitzu’s, Poodles, Schnauzers, Yorkies, Doodles, and Cocker Spaniels no. I’m open to setting up a meet and greet with other small to medium breeds. I’m currently teaching Monday-Friday, but will be available on weekends from 4:00 pm Friday to 9:00 pm Sunday. Hourly visits are welcome, as well as over night visits. I have a large fenced back yard and my own fur baby to keep your fur baby company! I allow animals on the furniture and they get to sleep on the bed with me, unless they prefer their own crate or bedding. I have a doggy door so they have access to going potty when needed. I also live in a smoke free home.
“Kristine is a great sitter! I can see my Mickey 🐶 feels happy and comfortable with her, that is very important to me, I love that she always keep me updated and I appreciate that she sent me pictures and videos every day, she’s very professional…”

“Stephanie and her family took exceptionally good care of my 19 month old goldendoodle. I hope they will let him stay again. Thank you for everything! Love Noa and Anthony.”

“I can’t recommend Flor enough! She did an amazing job taking care of my dogs. She sent daily updates, including pictures, which really gave me peace of mind. My dogs absolutely loved her, and I could tell they were well cared for and happy the whole time. If you’re looking for someone reliable and caring, she’s the one! Will be booking again!”

“Lisa is the best~! She updated me with pictures, which made my day when I got to see how well Sunny got along with her and the other dogs. I am a first time official Rover user, so I am super grateful for this great first experience in boarding one of my puppies. When it was time for pick-up, Sunny wanted to go back. Paws down, no regrets. We will definitely return in the future. Thank you so much for everything, Lisa~”

“I was hesitant to leave my dogs in a home. My elder dog has only ever been boarded a boarding facility and my younger dog has never been boarded. Darlene kept me posted on their stay. When I picked them up they were very glad to see me. They were well kept and seemed very happy with their care. I will use Darlene again.”

About: Though I am not well versed in special needs dogs, ones with anxiety I know far to well as my Bella suffers daily. Constant love and affection would be given to ensure your fur babies feel right at home as if you’ve never left. Hello I’m Melissa a newly FT stay at home mom of 2. I homeschool during the morning and have fun by mid afternoon so adding some visitors to my day would be my pleasure! Both my Bombay cat and Deer Chihuahua were rescued. I work with many rescues in the surrounding areas to make sure all strays brought home find their forever homes. I do live in a rental so I do request that they are potty trained! Both my cat and dog are fully house broke and getting up in the night for those midnight tinkle breaks are possible since my dog is a senior and needs to go too. I hope that gives you a little insight to my life and allows you to be comfortable in choosing me as your fur babies mini vaca destination. I have a fully fenced decent size back yard with cameras for lots of room to run and get their wiggles out or just explore and sunbathe. I have a large crate if they prefer some quiet time alone just request you bring their favorite bed or blanket so they have a piece of home to comfort them.

About: I owned two dogs throughout my 17 years here in the US. One of them I raised since pup and potty trained her and taught her tricks such as rolling over, sit, lay down, catch, handshake, turn around, she also fetch sticks in the water and barks when she sees animals on tv. Yes I taught my dog how to watch tv 🥹! She was my best friend she is no longer with us now I lost her back in 2024 she developed a liver disease at 13 years old. I have one more dog that I rescued back in 2011 he is now my senior dog and still lives with me and he is about 19 years old. He might be actually older than that though I had no proof of how old he really is. I assumed he was about 4 years old when I found him back in 2011. So we can do the math from that right? All my dogs are indoor dogs and can be on my bed though they have their own beds as well. All doggies will be treated with love affection and care and all welcome in my home 🥹❤️ Stay at home so I have plenty of time for your pups. I’m available for boarding week days anytime and overnight. One message away I have a fenced yard. I live by a walking path I could easily take pups for walks. Pups stays inside the house and uses the doggy door to go potty in the yard. Feeding schedule may vary depending on instructions.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
