“Corn had the best time! The sitter was super sweet and took such great care of him. I could tell he felt comfortable and had so much fun during his stay. Definitely booking again — highly recommend!”

“Tyler was an amazing dog sitter! He was attentive, kind, and so sweet with my dog. He kept me updated with plenty of photos, including some adorable and funny moments that really put my mind at ease while I was away. He was also very attentive to my dog’s dietary needs and even took him to the park to play. My dog is usually pretty solitary and takes time to warm up to new people, but he did so well with Tyler, which says a lot. I’m so happy Tyler and Deku had such a great time together. I would absolutely book with Tyler again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!”

“I am a full time worker and student so if you are looking for a reliable and trustable dog sitter, Rotoria is your best bet! She is willing to step up to the plate and get the job done! Definitely going to be a returning client! - SAGE”

“Nathan and family were great! Very communicative and our dog seemed right at home! Which is huge because she has high anxiety but she loved it with Nathan and crew. Will definitely be rebooking soon.”

“Jennifer was super easy to work with. She communicated really well and she let me know that Luna was safe and comfortable. She really made me feel at ease about leaving my pet with her over the weekend.”

“Allison was amazing! This was our first time using Rover. Allison and Rover were Reffered by a friend. Our dog Butters was going to be with her for 10 days. She sent pictures everyday. Told me she was eating well. Getting along with other pets. Butters made new friends. I would recommend Allison to anyone who needs care for their pets. Thank you Allison and Rover!”

“Chona was a fantastic sitter for our Frenchie, Coco. She communicated often with texts and photos, took Coco on walks and outings, and made sure she was comfortable and calm the whole stay. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog and would definitely book with Chona again.”

“Amazing Amazing host. My GDS has a broken leg and I wanted him to go to place where he was well taken care of. I had Bridget take care two of my dogs at one time. She wanted to do a meet and great which is always a good thing. During the stay I was well informed about the dog activities.I will be going back to her every time I am out of town. She is the best!!!!”

“We can’t say enough wonderful things about Ciara and her family! ❤️ They took such great care of our four-legged son, Bailey, while we were away. Knowing he was being loved and cared for made it so much easier for us to truly relax and enjoy our vacation without worrying about him. Ciara kept us updated every day on how Bailey was doing, and we absolutely loved receiving the pictures! It gave us so much peace of mind seeing his happy little face while we were away. 🐶❤️ Thank you, Ciara and family, for loving Bailey like he was your own. We are so grateful for the care, love, and attention you gave him. We highly recommend Ciara to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and loving dog sitter. Bailey definitely enjoyed his stay—and we think he may have been a little spoiled! 😊”

“Highly Recommend!!! Kathryn and her family treated my pup Shadow like one of their own. Couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you for taking such great care and giving her all the love while I was away.”

“Mongo from the instant he met Ana, was calm and comfortable around her. He had a great time during his stay and came back very happy and excited. Ana communicated very well while I was away and sent pics and videos everyday. Will definitely leave Mongo with Ana again next time I am out of town.”

“Emmeline is very kind and sweet. Her and her parents love Max. And they treat him like part of the family while he is there. We feel so lucky to have found her. This is our second time having Max with her family. She has been a blessing in more ways than one, and I have peace of mind, knowing that he’s with her. They have a beautiful home and she takes him for daily walks. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our furbaby!”

“I’m looking forward to booking again [next year when i stay in town at Great Wolf Lodge] with Debra & Benjamin. Little Zoey is just so sweet and friendly - even on the first face to face zoom meet & greet she wagged her tail - to meeting in-person upon drop off. Immediately, my dogs appeared to feel safe and cozy upon meeting. Their home is set up to accommodate free range indoor/outdoor exploring in a safe fenced back yard/“backwoods” environment. Most importantly - at and post-pickup - my babies seemed calm, content and relaxed. Thank goodness I was able to find Debra & Benjamin to provide quality care! Def recommend”

About: Hello! I’ve been teaching first graders for 24 years. While on breaks from teaching, I enjoy being a substitute doggy daycare provider. My fur baby goes to doggy daycare when I’m teaching first graders, so I know what it’s like to entrust others with your loved one! This is where I’ve been trained by the best Doggy Daycare provider in Lathrop! I substitute at my dog’s daycare when I’m not teaching first graders. I’ll be retiring from teaching soon, but in the meantime, I’m available on weekends when your regular provider isn’t available. I’m planning to start Labor Day Weekend in my home. Please plan to book in advance, so we can introduce your fur babies to my fur baby. My schnoodle gets along great with others. I’m more experienced with Shitzu’s, Poodles, Schnauzers, Yorkies, Doodles, and Cocker Spaniels no. I’m open to setting up a meet and greet with other small to medium breeds. I’m currently teaching Monday-Friday, but will be available on weekends from 4:00 pm Friday to 9:00 pm Sunday. Hourly visits are welcome, as well as over night visits. I have a large fenced back yard and my own fur baby to keep your fur baby company! I allow animals on the furniture and they get to sleep on the bed with me, unless they prefer their own crate or bedding. I have a doggy door so they have access to going potty when needed. I also live in a smoke free home.
“Dalene was great with Yoda. She was very attentive and flexible with us dropping off and picking up times. She took care of our dog very well. Definitely recommend for future stays.”

“Justine did an amazing job with Willa. This was Willa's first boarding so that is always a little nerve-wracking but Justine was very communicative the whole time. Will be booking again in the near future.”

“At 13, Mollie can be a grumpy dog, but she enjoyed staying with Kristine and her dog Sundae so much that she was happy and frisky when we went to pick her up. She got her snacks at night (carrots) and two walks a day, and the family said they would miss Mollie now that she left. A great sitter. Thanks for all you did.”

“We left our dog with Hortensia for a week and he had a great experience staying with her. We got daily updates of how he was doing along with pictures and videos. I felt at ease knowing our pup was staying with her and being taken care of so well. She was attentive to his daily routine details and our pup just loved her. We will definitely be leaving him there again in the future!”

Every sitter on Rover has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.
94% of Atlanta sitters also include daily walks in the neighborhood during dog boarding stays. You can also request photo and message updates throughout the stay so you can see which Atlanta landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.
If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Atlanta home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Atlanta.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
