“We had a great experience with Tyler’s dog boarding. He took care of our dog, Niko, at his home for six days, and Niko was happy and very well looked after the whole time. Tyler sent daily updates and photos, which gave us real peace of mind. Wonderful service! We’ll definitely book with him again.”

“My pup had a great time.... When we 1st did the meet and greet, I loved how relaxed she was with my dog. Even though my dog is very hyper and jumps a lot She was not put off by it and knew how to handle her.... I also loved receiving pictures and knowing that she was having a good time. Next time I go out of town I know who my pup will be staying with.”

About: I've take care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I absolutely love dogs & all animals. They truly teach a person how to love unconditionally. I'm currently self employed & going to school online, so taking care of dogs is more than manageable. I'm available Monday - Friday 11am - 4pm I have a large backyard & a divider gate to separate the dogs in case they don't get along. I'm very communicative & safety is always a top priority for me, so issues regarding safety is very unlikely to happen with me.

“Chewy had a great time! Plenty of pictures were sent during his stay! He was welcomed like it was his home! Thank you som much for giving Chewy so much love! Will definitely book again when needing a sotter!”

“Thank you Lisa for taking excellent care of Layla! I felt comfortable and at ease knowing that Layla was in good hands. I loved seeing all the pictures of Layla having fun with her friends. This was our first time using Rover and I thank you for a great experience!”

“Justine did an amazing job with Willa. This was Willa's first boarding so that is always a little nerve-wracking but Justine was very communicative the whole time. Will be booking again in the near future.”

“Jasmit and Co. Removed my separation anxiety leaving Simba the first minute arrived! Their dog Ollie and Simba hit it off immediately and was a great host. He came home exhausted ( a good thing) The socialization aspect was great for Simba! Thanks!! 🐾🐾”

“At 13, Mollie can be a grumpy dog, but she enjoyed staying with Kristine and her dog Sundae so much that she was happy and frisky when we went to pick her up. She got her snacks at night (carrots) and two walks a day, and the family said they would miss Mollie now that she left. A great sitter. Thanks for all you did.”

“Weilin builds trust with her clients from the get-go by proposing a meet and greet ahead of the boarding date. I felt confident enough to just drop my doberman, Buddy, off on the date. I know that Buddy had a great time with Weilin because I received 2 videos of Buddy per day and he looked really happy playing with the other dogs. If you shoot Weilin a text, you'll receive a response within a few minutes. Thank you for taking care of my dog!”

About: I truly love animals, especially dogs. They’re not just pets — they’re family. Caring for them brings me so much joy, and I treat every dog with patience, kindness, and lots of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule around walks, feedings, and check-ins to make sure each pet gets consistent attention and care. Whether it’s morning walks, midday potty breaks, or evening visits, I make time to give every dog the love, exercise, and reliability they deserve. I care for pets as if they were my own, whether in my home or my client’s home. I follow each pet’s routine closely — including feeding schedules, walk times, playtime, and any specific instructions provided. In my client’s home, I make sure their pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment while keeping the space clean and secure.
“So thankful that my friend referred me to Cheri and Gil, they are both so kind and easy to talk to. They answered all my questions which put my mind completely at ease, I knew I could trust them with my fur baby. They sent me updates frequently and my dog came home happy and calm. I’m so thankful to have found someone i can trust with my fur baby. Thank You so much Cheri and Gil!”

“Allison is the best. She’s super accommodating, goes above and beyond and does her best to make us feel at ease when we are away. We are always nervous when we go on our trips and have to leave our pups behind, but she makes sure to update us daily, reassuring us that they are healthy and happy. We cannot state enough how amazing Allison is and how highly we recommend her!”

About: I have been pet sitting/ house sitting for 15 years. I have pet sit for neighbors and family members. Taking care of pets includes: walks, feeding, playtime and lots of cuddles. I currently work from home so I have the flexibility to make my own schedule which makes it very convenient for last minute walks or pet sitting. When taking care of others fur baby’s I always ensure to follow care instructions and make sure they receive enough attention while you are away.
“Ciara and her family are just so sweet and attentive and her dog Arlo was so playful again with our puppy and let her get all her energy out:) We appreciated the photo updates and felt she was truly treated like a member of the family while we were away. Thank you.”

About: Hi, my name is Angela! I have extensive experience with high-energy dogs that thrive on special activities and routines. As the proud owner of an Australian Shepherd named Mila, I understand the needs of smart, active dogs who require both physical and mental stimulation to stay happy and well-behaved. I absolutely adore my Aussie, and I will love and care for your pet just as much! 🐾 I also volunteer, which gives me a very flexible schedule to meet the needs of you and your furry family member. Your pet will be treated like my own, with plenty of love, attention, and care. I live in a spacious three-bedroom home, offering plenty of room for your pet to roam, explore, and even enjoy some playtime with Mila. I look forward to meeting your fur baby and providing them with the best care possible. 💜 Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As a dog owner myself, I’m already accustomed to planning my days around activities like walks, playtime, feeding, and training sessions. I schedule my work flexibly, so I can dedicate the time and attention needed for each pet I care for. Whether it’s daily visits, extended stays, or specific routines, I seamlessly integrate pet care into my week to ensure every furry friend feels loved and well-cared for. My girl Mila is very well cared for (some might say spoiled!), and I make sure she’s fed on a consistent schedule every single day. She has plenty of toys to keep her entertained, and you can expect the same level of care and attention for your furry friend.

“Bonnie was great with sending updates and pictures. Her children were great with Malu as well. I definitely would recommend her to any other pet parents! Thank you again Bonnie!”

“Emmeline was an amazing sitter. She watched my dog chico who has many quirks and was able to handle them all without any issues. She sent me tons of photos during the sit which I loved. We definitely want to use her in the future.”

About: Hello my name is Shondra and I absolutely love dogs. as a retiree, I'm home most of the time, so your pup will receive plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day-they'll never be left alone for long periods. I've had dogs my entire life and have experience training German Shorthaired Pointers as hunting dogs. Although I no longer hunt, the knowledge, patience, and dedication I gained from training them helps me provide excellent care for every dog I meet. I walk my own dog every day, and if your pup enjoys walks and is able to join us, I'd be happy to include them in our daily adventures. My home is clean, safe, and pet-friendly, giving your furry family member a comfortable place to relax and feel at home. I know how important it is to stay connected while you're away, so i'll send you daily photos and updates so you can see all the fun your pup is having and peace of mind. If you have a puppy, I can also help with crate training and potty training by following a consistent routine and using positive reinforcement, but it has to be with a crate for cleanliness. My promise is simple: I'll care for your dog with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I look forward to welcoming your furry family member into my home. I have saved my dog Kiddy (who has now passed away at 19yrs old) from near death when she was 16yrs old. She had an infected tooth which got into her blood and caused her to almost die. the doctor gave her antibiotics but she wasn't eating or drinking for days. I put in a blender chicken and pedialyte, I then poured it into a feeding syringe and carefully put it in her mouth, I did this for 2 days and she came back to life. She got her tooth pulled as soon as she was better. I wanted to tell my story so you know that I will do whatever it takes to care for your pup. Our fur babies are family❤️❤️🙏 I am retired and home to take care of your pup. I do have one little dog and 2 cats. My pup is on an eating schedule and walking schedule so if your pup is on any schedule I will accommodate. My dogs and cats are cherished members of the family, and I will treat your animals as my extended family. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and comfortable home where your pet feels happy and secure while your pet feels happy and secure will you're away. I have a fully fenced yard for outdoor play and live close to a park, where your pup can enjoy daily walks and exercise. I also have a swimming pool that is not fenced; however, your pets safety is my highest priority, and I closely supervise all outdoor time to ensure they stay safe. if your pet requires medication, I am experienced and comfortable administering it according to your instructions. I will also follow your preferred feeding schedule and routine to help your pet feel at home. I specialize in caring for small to medium-size dogs. if your pup enjoys relaxing on the couch, they're welcome to cuddle up with me. I can provide a crate if needed, or you're welcome to bring your own if that's what your pup is accustomed to sleeping in. For the comfort and cleanliness of my home, I do require that all pets be potty trained or crated while learning to be potty trained. I also understand that every pet has unique needs. For example, I currently care for a friends dog who uses a dog litter box, so im happy to accommodate that setup if needed. As a special treat, I make homemade boil chicken treats that many dogs love, of course, I will always follow any dietary restrictions or special instructions you provide. Most importantly, I will care for your pet with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I want every dog or cat in my care to feel safe, loved, and right at home.

95% of sitters in Turner can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
