“Corn had the best time! The sitter was super sweet and took such great care of him. I could tell he felt comfortable and had so much fun during his stay. Definitely booking again — highly recommend!”

“Tyler was an amazing dog sitter! He was attentive, kind, and so sweet with my dog. He kept me updated with plenty of photos, including some adorable and funny moments that really put my mind at ease while I was away. He was also very attentive to my dog’s dietary needs and even took him to the park to play. My dog is usually pretty solitary and takes time to warm up to new people, but he did so well with Tyler, which says a lot. I’m so happy Tyler and Deku had such a great time together. I would absolutely book with Tyler again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!”

“I am a full time worker and student so if you are looking for a reliable and trustable dog sitter, Rotoria is your best bet! She is willing to step up to the plate and get the job done! Definitely going to be a returning client! - SAGE”

“Chona was a fantastic sitter for our Frenchie, Coco. She communicated often with texts and photos, took Coco on walks and outings, and made sure she was comfortable and calm the whole stay. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog and would definitely book with Chona again.”

“We had Annmarie sit for us again. She is wonderful with my dog Cassie. Cassie gets walks, and play time, and I get videos of how happy she is. I always feel comfortable leaving Cassie with her knowing that she is in good hands, safe, and comfortable. Thank You again Annmarie, from Cassie's Mom.”

“Outstanding!!! Could not ask for a better person to take care of our dog. My dog is getting older in kennels she never eats and very unhappy. With Angelina our dog was very happy, ate, safe and had a good time. Could not ask for a better service. Thank you again”

“Yes! I will have a forever sitter with Lisa. Scottie was so comfortable at her home, she welcomed him like family. Our vacation had unexpected moments and Lisa bended over backwards to accommodate us. She sent me more photos than I had of my own of Scottie and btw she takes excellent photos! I am very impressed with her service, home, and the care she showed my baby Scottie! I will definitely reuse her services.”

About: Hello! I’ve been teaching first graders for 24 years. While on breaks from teaching, I enjoy being a substitute doggy daycare provider. My fur baby goes to doggy daycare when I’m teaching first graders, so I know what it’s like to entrust others with your loved one! This is where I’ve been trained by the best Doggy Daycare provider in Lathrop! I substitute at my dog’s daycare when I’m not teaching first graders. I’ll be retiring from teaching soon, but in the meantime, I’m available on weekends when your regular provider isn’t available. I’m planning to start Labor Day Weekend in my home. Please plan to book in advance, so we can introduce your fur babies to my fur baby. My schnoodle gets along great with others. I’m more experienced with Shitzu’s, Poodles, Schnauzers, Yorkies, Doodles, and Cocker Spaniels no. I’m open to setting up a meet and greet with other small to medium breeds. I’m currently teaching Monday-Friday, but will be available on weekends from 4:00 pm Friday to 9:00 pm Sunday. Hourly visits are welcome, as well as over night visits. I have a large fenced back yard and my own fur baby to keep your fur baby company! I allow animals on the furniture and they get to sleep on the bed with me, unless they prefer their own crate or bedding. I have a doggy door so they have access to going potty when needed. I also live in a smoke free home.

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Cristal and her family! They took such amazing care of my 16-year-old Panda and treated him like one of their own. 🐶❤️ I especially appreciated the regular updates on his eating and exercise, which meant so much to me while I was away. Knowing he was happy, comfortable, and loved gave me complete peace of mind. Thank you so much, Cristal, for taking such great care of my senior boy! We will absolutely be back!”

“Anton is the best. He showed Jack so much attention and affection. He treated him like he was his own. When Jack needed snuggles, Anton was there with a lap and lots of scratches. Anton is the best communicator. He sends tons of great pictures and videos. I'm so very happy that we found Anton. Jack can't wait to visit again!”

“At 13, Mollie can be a grumpy dog, but she enjoyed staying with Kristine and her dog Sundae so much that she was happy and frisky when we went to pick her up. She got her snacks at night (carrots) and two walks a day, and the family said they would miss Mollie now that she left. A great sitter. Thanks for all you did.”

“Amazing Amazing host. My GDS has a broken leg and I wanted him to go to place where he was well taken care of. I had Bridget take care two of my dogs at one time. She wanted to do a meet and great which is always a good thing. During the stay I was well informed about the dog activities.I will be going back to her every time I am out of town. She is the best!!!!”

“Highly Recommend!!! Kathryn and her family treated my pup Shadow like one of their own. Couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you for taking such great care and giving her all the love while I was away.”

“I love knowing that my pups are having a great time too while we’re out of town. Kathy is great at sending pics and updates. My 2 dogs always seem so happy and relaxed after spending time with Kathy and her family. ❤️”

“First time when we met Bonnie, we can feel how she will love our dog. She is very friendly and nice. Her children are also very nice. During our dog stayed, Bonnie sent us some pictures. We are so happy and blessed to know her and when we pick up our dog, we can see that he had a very good time spent with Bonnie and her family! Thank you Bonnie!”

“Justine did an amazing job with Willa. This was Willa's first boarding so that is always a little nerve-wracking but Justine was very communicative the whole time. Will be booking again in the near future.”

“Cooper was genuinely cared for and very well taken care of by Rachana and her family! We were at peace due to regular and detailed updates about his settling in phase. Being an anxious pup, Cooper needs a considerable amount of patience and love to feel at home and he seemed to feel at ease very soon at Rachana’s place. Their pup is super friendly too and was great company for Cooper during his stay! Thank you for your care and affection towards Cooper!”

“Already rebooked! They made several trips each day for our two big dogs and kept an eye out for our two indoor/outdoor cats (AND provided cat food/water for a stray that has adopted us). I received updates and photos. Very obvious animal lovers.”

“This was the longest I've ever been away from my babies, but it was our wedding. In my panic to find a sitter I met Hortensia. From the start we hit it off and spent a couple of hours chatting away during our meet and greet. She absolutely understands the anxiety some of us get when we have to leave our fur babies with a stranger and within a few hours of leaving them, she sent me photos. I was instantly releaved and knew they were in good hands. Hortensia was consistent with sending updates and photos every single day and my dogs looked great. She was even willing to keep them longer after our return flight got rescheduled. I could tell how attached she had gotten to them especially Chanel as she held her in her arms like a baby. It actually pained me to have to take them away from her, but she is our go to sitter from now on so they will definitely meet again. Thank you for taking such great care of them!”

Rochelle gave our fur baby great care and lots of love . She has a large beautiful caring family and my dog got so much attention and love. Rochelle arranged a meet and greet before the stay ...that was much appreciated. She sent me text and pictures while we were away. Always good to see a picture of your animal looking happy and cared for while you're away. I will book with her again

Joy is an amazing dog sitter. She cared enough to do a meet and greet prior to me leaving my Buddy with her. She kept me updated on how his day was going and plans for the day. The picture of him was a plus. I have future plans and have already let her know that I will be rebooking. The entire family were friendly and welcoming. The booking was sorta last minute but she was able to work with me.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
