About: Hello! I’ve been teaching first graders for 24 years. While on breaks from teaching, I enjoy being a substitute doggy daycare provider. My fur baby goes to doggy daycare when I’m teaching first graders, so I know what it’s like to entrust others with your loved one! This is where I’ve been trained by the best Doggy Daycare provider in Lathrop! I substitute at my dog’s daycare when I’m not teaching first graders. I’ll be retiring from teaching soon, but in the meantime, I’m available on weekends when your regular provider isn’t available. I’m planning to start Labor Day Weekend in my home. Please plan to book in advance, so we can introduce your fur babies to my fur baby. My schnoodle gets along great with others. I’m more experienced with Shitzu’s, Poodles, Schnauzers, Yorkies, Doodles, and Cocker Spaniels no. I’m open to setting up a meet and greet with other small to medium breeds. I’m currently teaching Monday-Friday, but will be available on weekends from 4:00 pm Friday to 9:00 pm Sunday. Hourly visits are welcome, as well as over night visits. I have a large fenced back yard and my own fur baby to keep your fur baby company! I allow animals on the furniture and they get to sleep on the bed with me, unless they prefer their own crate or bedding. I have a doggy door so they have access to going potty when needed. I also live in a smoke free home.

“This was the longest I've ever been away from my babies, but it was our wedding. In my panic to find a sitter I met Hortensia. From the start we hit it off and spent a couple of hours chatting away during our meet and greet. She absolutely understands the anxiety some of us get when we have to leave our fur babies with a stranger and within a few hours of leaving them, she sent me photos. I was instantly releaved and knew they were in good hands. Hortensia was consistent with sending updates and photos every single day and my dogs looked great. About: Though I am not well versed in special needs dogs, ones with anxiety I know far to well as my Bella suffers daily. Constant love and affection would be given to ensure your fur babies feel right at home as if you’ve never left. Hello I’m Melissa a newly FT stay at home mom of 2. I homeschool during the morning and have fun by mid afternoon so adding some visitors to my day would be my pleasure! Both my Bombay cat and Deer Chihuahua were rescued. I work with many rescues in the surrounding areas to make sure all strays brought home find their forever homes. I do live in a rental so I do request that they are potty trained! Both my cat and dog are fully house broke and getting up in the night for those midnight tinkle breaks are possible since my dog is a senior and needs to go too. I hope that gives you a little insight to my life and allows you to be comfortable in choosing me as your fur babies mini vaca destination. I have a fully fenced decent size back yard with cameras for lots of room to run and get their wiggles out or just explore and sunbathe. I have a large crate if they prefer some quiet time alone just request you bring their favorite bed or blanket so they have a piece of home to comfort them.

I can also stay all weekend. I am very dependable and reliable. I currently work MWF from 9-12 PM. However, since this is only 3 hours, I am able to go back to my job as your pet sitter for the rest of the day. I lost my dog Lilli in 2021 and will get a much needed companion soon. Just a few years ago I rescued dogs and cats at the veterinary hospital that I worked with. I was the personal assistant/accountant for the hospital for over 20 years. I have learned about what types of medicine would be used for simple medical issues, what types of food for each type of nutritional need, condition and breed. I will take a pet first aid class to refresh my skills. I also have a sixth sense with animals if something is wrong or unusual. I will then contact you to make sure that you are aware as well. Good communication between the pet sitter and owner is very important. I will make sure there is fresh water always and a clean bowl. Exercise is important and play time to keep pets strong and healthy and preventing boredom. I also will keep up on medication with your instructions.

“This was our first experience with Jasmit and her hubby let alone on Rover. We were EXTREMELY pleased with the care and attention they provided our dog. Jasmit sent photos and videos almost daily to share how our dog was doing. In every photo sent, our dog had a smile on her face which was so refreshing to see! Right before our boarding was to begin, unfortunately our female dog started her heat cycle. We informed Jasmit and would have completely understood if they needed to cancel as this is one of the reasons why they would not normally accept a boarding request. But they willingly agreed to continue to have her boarded with them. Thank you for agreeing to do so and dealing with the mess and extra care that comes with that! We will definitely continue to use Jasmit and her hubby again...in fact we already booked our next boarding event with them.”
