“I highly recommend Jasmine for drop-in visits! She watched my three indoor cats and was incredibly punctual and reliable. I have specific routines for my cats, and Jasmine followed every instruction to the letter. Her communication was transparent and clear, providing great updates that gave me total peace of mind while I was away. I’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“Daniella did a great job watching our Goldendoodle while we were on vacation. After reading her reviews, I decided Daniella was a great fit for my anxious dog. Our first time booking with rover and overall it was an easy and stress free experience with Daniella.. She checked in on our dog once a day- She was always on time, communicated when needed, sent photos and followed our direction perfectly. We will be booking her again!”

“Diana was AMAZING. She saw our sick cat on very last minute notice, worked so hard to get her meds in (even though my cat can be resistant), made sure my kitty was super comfortable, sent us ABUNDANT photos, put out a whole array of different foods from different places in our apartment as we were trying to get her to eat, etc. the list goes on. We were so incredibly worried about our kitty and Diana put us at ease with her care. We would hire her again in a heartbeat. She was also just so kind, patient, generous, and communicative the whole way!”

“Can always count on Helen! She always takes excellent care of our two boys! She is super reliable and always very communicative throughout the whole process! Thank you again we always appreciate you!”

About: Though I am not well versed in special needs dogs, ones with anxiety I know far to well as my Bella suffers daily. Constant love and affection would be given to ensure your fur babies feel right at home as if you’ve never left. Hello I’m Melissa a newly FT stay at home mom of 2. I homeschool during the morning and have fun by mid afternoon so adding some visitors to my day would be my pleasure! Both my Bombay cat and Deer Chihuahua were rescued. I work with many rescues in the surrounding areas to make sure all strays brought home find their forever homes. I do live in a rental so I do request that they are potty trained! Both my cat and dog are fully house broke and getting up in the night for those midnight tinkle breaks are possible since my dog is a senior and needs to go too. I hope that gives you a little insight to my life and allows you to be comfortable in choosing me as your fur babies mini vaca destination. I have a fully fenced decent size back yard with cameras for lots of room to run and get their wiggles out or just explore and sunbathe. I have a large crate if they prefer some quiet time alone just request you bring their favorite bed or blanket so they have a piece of home to comfort them.
“Heather was contacted through Rover to take care of our Cat Family while we were away out of town. My wife and I were very pleased with her from start to finish. She was: Punctual Dependable Very Pleasant Our Cats were very comfortable around her. She followed instructions accurately. She will be our go-to cat caretaker in the future. Thank You Heather!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities and truly love spending time with animals. I’m a patient, dependable, and attentive caregiver who treats every pet like family. My dogs have always been a huge part of my life, including my sweet RayRay, who taught me so much about patience, love, and the special bond we share with our pets. I recently adopted my French Bulldog, Ichabod (“Iggy”), and I’m continuing to learn and understand each dog’s unique needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, medication (if needed), or lots of love and attention, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I love being able to include pets in my daily routine. I plan my schedule around making sure they get the care, attention, and love they need. Whether it’s walks, playtime, meals, or just keeping them company, I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their family is away. Creating a safe and comfortable space for pets is very important to me. I know how much trust it takes to leave someone with your furry family member, and I take that responsibility seriously. I pay attention to the little things — their habits, boundaries, and what helps them feel relaxed. In my home or yours, I’ll treat your pet and your space with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’ll follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet feels secure, cared for, and loved while you’re away.
About: I have a deep love and appreciation for dogs. Have been taking care of my family’s dog for years now as well as watching my friend’s dogs and cats while she’s away for work for multiple days. I’m currently working little hours at my local job, but I am looking to expand that by walking and taking great care of your furry friends right now I like to get to know the animal and can understand their body language in many different scenarios. I understand what they think as threats and can anticipate different situations and handle as such.
“Alexus is a one of a kind caregiver. She provided us with piece of mind and my pets with excellent care. She took extra steps to gain our animals trust and treated our home like it was hers by picking up after our pets. Her updates were inspiring and helped us feel at easy while we were away.❤️”

About: I volunteer at the Stockton Animal Shelter. Also, I have a Pomeranian chihuahua mix so I’m used to smaller animals. My dog is 14-16 so he’s very old and is becoming more immobile and blind. I’m used to feeding him and helping him around the house. I’m currently working part time so most of my Thursdays, Fridays, and the weekend are completely free. It’s also summer so it’s still sunny after 4 or 5 when I get off of work. I’m very respectful in others space. I will be very attentive to the rules that you lay out because you know your dog best
About: I’ve been caring for pets most of my life. I grew up with a Boxer-Lab-Mastiff mix who I helped feed, walk, and train—so I’m very comfortable with large breeds. I also helped care for my boyfriend’s German Shepherd before she passed, including managing frequent accidents and supporting her during her senior years. That experience taught me a lot about patience, gentleness, and being there for pets when they need comfort the most. Now, I have two French Bulldogs of my own and love their big personalities! I enjoy getting to know each pet and making sure they feel safe, understood, and happy while their people are away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or sticking to a specific routine, I’m here to provide loving, dependable care. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine—this summer, I’m available all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and after 3 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays. I plan my schedule so I have plenty of time to give each pet the attention they need, whether it’s for walks, check-ins, or overnight stays. I also make sure to leave time for my own pets, so I’m always fully present when I’m caring for yours. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine and keep things as stress-free as possible while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect I would want for my own. I always follow your instructions closely, from feeding schedules to walk routines, and I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and never left unattended in risky situations. I double-check doors and gates, keep things clean and tidy, and do my best to make sure your pet feels relaxed and cared for while you’re away. I also love sending updates and photos so you can feel at ease while I’m with your furry family member.
About: Having dogs from a young age has led me to the passion I have for dogs now. Since the young age of four years old, I have cared for dogs of many breeds, sizes and backgrounds such as rescues. Something that sets me apart is that I have cared for dogs with disabilities such as epilepsy and senior dogs who need more help. I have also cared for pregnant, nursing dogs and their puppies. I can shower dogs and puppies as well. Having spent most of my life outdoors and with dogs, I love providing the same peace of mind to my clients by providing their daily companion some exercise. I will make sure to take your pooch on the adventure of their lifetime. Currently free for the next month and ready to add more fun to my summer break! If I am not out hiking, I'd love to be caring for your pet.🐶😻 Taking care of your pet is my number one priority. I will make sure to always keep a safe environment around your pet by avoiding/removing potential hazardous items and routes.
“Sydney was prompt and kind. My puppy had an accident and went the extra mile of cleaning up after her. My girls can be a bit stubborn but she handled them with care and kindness. I’ve never used a pet sitter before for my dogs and this was a very positive experience with Sydney. If she is willing to watch my dogs again in the future I know my girls will learn to bond with Sydney!”

About: Hi! My name is Danica and I am so lucky to have the opportunity to care for your loved ones when needed. I have loved watching over and building relationships with all furry friends since I was a child. My grandparents taught me all there is to making sure our furry friends — ranging from dogs and cats to chicken and bunnies — were well loved during their lives. I’ve had the great pleasure of overnight dog sitting and checking in on friends and families animals, and I believe I can provide the same love and passion for animals to yours! I am a full-time college counselor working from home! I enjoy my breaks and walks in between student calls, so I believe my time and gaps during the day can best fit your schedule. I am flexible with where I work, so I don’t mind keeping your animal company for a few hours before their owners come home :) I would describe myself as a gentle animal lover — making sure your pet has all their needs met and more. I will always honor your needs as the pet owners, and will communicate with you the details of the pet care I provide throughout our time together. I am open to your own knowledge for what is best for your pet and will communicate any suggestions or new activities your pet and I can do!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in French Camp. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
