“We are really excited to have found Daniella. She is very reliable and competent. She did everything we needed plus some. She took care of our 3 dogs and our horse. She sent us lots of pictures and updates. Our dogs are my babies and it makes me anxious to leave them but I could tell in the pictures they were enjoying themselves and happy so I could relax and enjoy myself. We will definitely use Daniella again.”

“Donna took wonderful care of my Lacey, and even took the time to tidy up, wash the bedsheets and remake the bed. She sent updates and pictures while we were gone and gave me such peace of mind. I would definitely use her again!”

About: I've grown up taking care of cats and dogs, I also have experience with rodents such as rabbits, mice, rats, and hamsters. I also am fine taking care of reptiles if needed. I'm available almost everyday, so I have plenty of time to stay at your house and watch your animals. I can even stay the night if needed. I feed them breakfast and dinner everyday, clean litter boxes once or twice a day depending on how many cats, and I could walk the dogs two or three times a day.
“Natalia did a wonderful job taking care of our senior cat and our house. She was highly communicative, very flexible as our plans shifted, and sent tons of adorable photos and videos that were so reassuring to us as we traveled. She left our house in better shape than we did, and was generally a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!”

“Gaby took care of our dog Hazel at our home. Hazel is a 11 month old Mimi Goldendoodle. She sent us pictures/videos during her stay. I would highly recommend her. We will be using her in the future. Becky S”

About: I have been lovingly caring for pets and homes since I was 17, making pet sitting and babysitting second nature to me. For the past 20 years, I have happily looked after animals for friends and neighbors, providing attentive, loving care and ensuring their homes are well cared for while they are away. My experience includes following detailed instructions on the care of both plants and animals, so every need is met with thoughtfulness. Having cared for a variety of pets—from guinea pigs to cats, dogs, lizards, and tortoises—I am comfortable and confident in providing personalized care for each unique companion. Through various housekeeping jobs, I’ve incorporated pet care seamlessly into my daily routines, whether that’s feeding, playing with, or simply offering companionship to the animals. I genuinely care about your loved ones and your home, and I strive to be the trusted person you can rely on to provide nurturing care and peace of mind while you’re away. I' am currently working part time and have plenty of time to care and play for your babies. With years of experience and joy for animals. Available weekends, and most weekdays after 10am. Animal friendly home, open space to play and roam. Fenced area in back yard and front yard. I have myself 2 cats a dog and 2 chickens that live together in harmony. Animals are on a set schedule for feeding with designated areas and bowls that are cleaned regulary. Toy baskets for enrichment and daily walks around the neighborhood with a local park justs down the street.

About: ==ABOUT MY CARE== I’ve spent most of my life caring for dogs and animals of all ages, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. I believe pet care should be built on trust, comfort, and consistency. I am experienced with administering medication, providing basic training, and giving special care to pets with unique needs. ==HOME SET UP== For boarding and doggy day care, I provide a calm home environment with supervised care, regular potty breaks, photo updates, and plenty of attention. I have three friendly pugs at home and experience caring for small, medium and select large dogs. ==SAFETY & STRUCTURE== I introduce dogs slowly, monitor their behavior closely, and separate dogs when needed. Feeding is done separately to help prevent food guarding, upset stomachs, or accidental sharing. ==BEST FIT== For boarding in my home, I'm best suited for small to medium dogs and select larger dogs only when the fit is right. For larger dogs I am also happy to provide house sitting , drop-ins, or care in the owner's home. ==SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS== I want every dog to feel comfortable and at home during their stay. Dogs can sleep in their crate, on their own bed, or in a designated sleeping area based on their routine and habits. Appropriate temperature levels for summer and winter times are adjusted to keep pets in perfect condition. ==COMMUNICATION & UPDATES== I know it's important to stay connected while you're away. I will provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, and having a great time. Flexible, open schedule, your pet gets my full attention and care, morning to night. I work from home so fully committed to making your pets stay as amazing as possible! Your dogs and animals will be safe, loved, and treated like family in a clean, pet friendly home. I follow your pet’s routine closely and provide constant supervision and affection.
“Gabriella takes such great care of our pups! They get so excited to see her every time. She is great at giving me updates on how they're doing, and she is always on time. Thank you Gabriella!”

“THANK YOU SO MUCH, Melissa, for stepping in on such short notice! SIGHT UNSEEN… just from her profile, we knew she was trustworthy. We really appreciated her flexibility and willingness to be briefed by our morning sitter since we had to head out early. She mentioned how nice Melissa was, and it was clear that Ash liked her right away. It was comforting to know Ash was so at ease with her and also grateful for the peace of mind she gave us. Melissa took awesome notes detailing his activities and potty breaks, which helped us maintain his potty training schedule. We’re so thankful she was available, and with her schedule permitting, we’d love for her to sit for Ash again, of course, this time with a bit more advance notice.”

About: I have taken care of animals for 10+ years now. From ages of babies to seniors. I care for every animal as if they are my own. I absolutely love all animals and the quirkier the better. I work full time as a preschool teacher but, that won’t stop me from taking the time to tend to your animals. I am available to board during the weekends and I am available after 4:00pm on weekdays but depending on the time of year that can become more flexible (like holidays or summer). I am able to care for your animals that will match their individual care. My top priority is making sure your animals are feeling loved and safe. I myself have rescued all sorts of animals from cats, to dogs, to snakes. I truly am an animal lover of all shapes and sizes.

About: I have spent a lot of time pet sitting family dogs, including powerful breeds like Pitbulls, Belgian Malinois, and German Shepherds. This hands-on experience taught me exactly how important structure and leash training are for a safe environment. Being a shorter person, I prefer to specialize in walking small dogs, medium dogs, or larger dogs who are already trained on the leash and calm when seeing others. Although I do have experience walking dogs who pull or get too excited, I want to ensure safety for your pet, myself, and others around me. However, if your larger pup is still working on their leash manners, I am more than happy to care for them entirely at home, focusing on indoor playtime, backyard fun, and tons of love! I am also a cat mom of 4 and love all types of cats. I currently have a flexible schedule, so I am able to offer open availability for your pets. Whether your pup or kitten needs morning or midday walks, a last-minute check-in, or your pet requires strict, timely medication schedules, I am around to help. My open routine means I can prioritize your pet's usual schedule without any rush. When I am in your home, safety and respect for your space are my priorities. I treat your home with care, ensuring doors are securely locked, gates are latched, and your home is left exactly as I found it. I can follow strict instructions to ensure that your pet’s needs are met. I also love sending quick photo updates with every visit, so you have total peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. My home is also equipped to handle pets safely and comfortably. I have a completely fenced backyard for secure outdoor playtime and bathroom breaks. To ensure everyone's safety, I also have a dedicated den space, allowing me to keep guest pets entirely separate from my four cats whenever needed. This setup ensures a stress free environment for both your pet and my own.
“We had a pleasure to have Courtni as a sitter she was wonderful and took excellent care of our Daisy! Right off the bat when we first met her we got an excellent first impression. She is very friendly and was great with our Daisy! When we came home after work our Daisy was relaxed and happy. I would definitely be using her in the future again.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Danica!! I was very nervous to leave my new rescue for the first time, as she can be slightly reactive to people. But Danica was so great with her, giving off gentle and calm energy. Will easily book her again :)”

“Regina is amazing. She took amazing care of my sweet senior pup Bodie. She was patient with him as he is a little stubborn on walks with new people. She left my apartment sparkly clean and was super communicative. I’m so glad I found Regina and I hope to have her watch Bodie again soon. Highly recommended.”

About: Hi! My name is Mitzi, and I’m 24 years old. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for more than half of it, and caring for them truly comes naturally to me. I currently have two spayed Shih Tzus and a friendly Doberman, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. My dogs do great around other dogs, and I’ve also cared for family members’ and friends’ pets while they’ve been away on vacation, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can fully trust with your fur baby. I have experience with both long-haired and short-haired dogs, and I genuinely love everything that comes with caring for them. Whether it’s daily walks, potty breaks, feeding on a regular schedule, keeping up with grooming and appointments, or just giving them love and attention, I make sure every dog in my care feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. Dogs are honestly my way of de-stressing, and spending time with them is something I truly enjoy. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always do my best to make them feel loved while you’re away. I am in nursing school, so i can either come during online classes or after in person class! My schedule is also open part time I live in a spacious household, my house is fenced front and back! I can also crate train your dog in your home or mine
“Elizabeth house-sat for us for a few days while we were away and took wonderful care of our fur babies and garden. She was thoughtful, incredibly detail-oriented, and kept us updated with photos throughout our trip. We always felt confident that she was responsive, trustworthy, and attentive to everything at home. It gave us great peace of mind knowing everything was in such capable hands. Thank you, Elizabeth!”
“Ryckie was super sweet and really wonderful with our senior dog, who has terrible arthritis, is a finicky eater, and needs extra attention due to his need to "potty" often. She made sure to keep him company whilst we were out of town, and our home was perfectly cared for. She even switched a day up due to an error on my behalf, and we are so grateful for her flexibility. Highly, highly recommend!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Turner on Rover is $58.85 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Turner walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Turner maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Turner choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Turner. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
