I had a German-Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador mix for 11 years, he passed away recently but brought years of joy and experience with a highly-energetic dog. About: I've always loved taking care of animals. When I was little I had big plans of having a shelter for dogs, cats and horses. I had even planned out the cost. Two neighborhood cats took shelter in our home and garage had three litters with us, that had further sparked my young passion for pet care.
