“Aaron is simply THE BEST! He formed a bond with my Gracie right away. He took more than great care of her and my home during the time I was away. He is extremely respectful and caring of my worries of being away and sent multiple update and pic messages daily. Gracie can’t wait for him to hangout with her again! I have already booked him for all my upcoming trips, and I couldn’t be more grateful for him.”

Though I have my own pets I am well experienced in taking care of other people’s as well! I have been providing pet and house care services for friends and family since my pre teen years- it’s something I’m passionate about! Thank you for reading and I hope to care for your fur baby soon! :) I just graduated (class of 2025) and am looking forward to making this my part time job during this gap year, and hopefully in the long run! I love animals/pets and helping others, and am ready to dedicate my time to this important work for you and your pets included! I am prepared to learn your pets needs no matter how simple or complex they are- my top concern is your pets happiness and health! “From the moment Bethany came over for the meet and greet, I knew that she would be a great person to look after our dogs. She has a very genuine and caring heart! She is super friendly and did a great job taking care of our dogs and looking over the house when were out of town. Everything was nice and clean when we came home, and the dogs were given lots of love while we were gone. We would definitely use her again in the future. Very down to earth and trustworthy.”

About: I've been an avid animal lover for most of my life. I've had the amazing experience of dog sitting for 4 awesome dogs and taking care of my own dog Max for 11 amazing years. I've worked with dogs old and young (4-11 years of age), big and small (12-110 pounds). Although I haven't been given a chance to petsit for cats yet, I would love to be given an opportunity. I've loved every experience I've had with these amazing pets and hope to extend the same courtesy to your furry family members. I am currently a contract worker so my schedule is pretty free Monday-Friday whatever time of day. I am also available for whatever weekends you see open in my calender. My calendar is currently updated through August of 2026. I am very meticulous when it comes to following whatever rules and regulations pet parents put in place. I make it my goal to provide the best experience for the owners piece of mind on the quality of care for their fur babies.
“We really liked Katie and our dog, Skyy, seemed to like her too. During our first meeting, she was friendly, engaged and asked the right questions. Before and while house/dog sitting for us, she was communicative which gives owners confidence. And during her stay, she sent us pictures of Skyy. She is a bright young lady and we felt the house and dog were in good hands!”

“I had Leslie house sit with my dogs for a week. She sent frequent pictures and updates and took such good care of them. Having rescue dogs, it’s important to me that they never feel abandoned, so having a sitter stay with them in their own space and maintain their normal routine is the best option for achieving that. I was able to enjoy my vacation, knowing my boys and our home were in good hands. Leslie went above and beyond what I expected. We look forward to having her again next month.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 9 years old. I've handled different kinds of breeds. All dogs have different personalities and I've been able to adapt to all. I'm good at paying close attention to detail if I notice something if off when it comes to my clients pets. I treat all their pets as if they were my own! I am currently working towards school and I am unemployed at the moment. I have an open availability, unless I have another client during that time. I have an open backyard with a fence for my dogs to run around. One of my dogs is playful and the other is on the reserved side. I make sure they get all their energy out! In my clients home, I make sure there are frequent potty breaks and playtime. I also make sure your house stays cleaned as far as toys & such.
“Marissa was fantastic! This was our first time hiring someone from Rover to stay at our home with our 2 cats and 2 dogs and she exceeded our expectations! Prior to our trip she happily came to our home a few times to meet with them, to help them (and us) be more comfortable. Marissa kept great communication with me the entire trip, sent pictures and videos, and even gave each of our dog's a bath! She is professional, dependable, and personable. Marissa genuinely loved and cared for our animals like her own. So happy that we found her!”
“Rebecca is wonderful. She is extremely conscientious and personable. The dogs both liked her immediately. My Aussie is a picky boy so this is saying something! I felt comfortable with Rebecca staying at my house and confident my dogs were safe. My dogs are around 60 and 50lbs. I will be calling on her again!”

About: I got a puppy about 10 years ago, his name is Bailey and he was such a hyper dog so I went on many walks, I was solely responsible for taking care of him, like, feeding, grooming, walking, entertaining, and picking up after. I am a college student, I am open all day. I can do nights and early mornings, if needed, I am available to be at the visit for multiple hours Although I can’t hold animals in my home, I take amazing care of my own animals that I carry that with me to every visit because I feel animals deserve to be treated with the same amount of respect.
About: I have been caring for dogs since I was a child and truly love animals of all kinds. I have experience with both big and small dogs, including caring for my aging and sick pup through the end of her life. I’ve also rescued several pitbulls, which taught me patience, compassion, and how to build trust with dogs from all backgrounds. I treat every dog like family and always strive to provide safe, loving, and attentive care. Whether your pet needs extra patience, structure, affection, or calm care, I strive to create a safe and trusting environment for them at all times.
“Very flexible and thoughtful for our last minute puppy sitting request! She was really knowledgeable about puppies and made us feel very comfortable leaving our 3 month old! Benson took to her immediately and had the best time. Will book again.”
“Brittany provides outstanding care for our two dogs every time we are on vacation. Her dedication and love for our pets give us complete peace of mind. We appreciate the regular updates and highly recommend her reliable and compassionate service."”

McHenry pet parents share their Rover experiences
Barbara was absolutely amazing with our 3 dogs! She kept in constant communication with us while we were away and made us feel so at ease. She asks great questions to make sure your fur babies are well taken care of and comfortable. I would have her stay with them in an instant and look forward to having her back. Thank you for being so wonderful, Barbara!

Loveli's name is a great description to her character, she is very Lovely!! I could not be more pleased with the care Loveli provided for my 9 year old Jack Russell, Annie. I was going to be out of the country for two weeks and was very nervous about leaving. Three weeks prior to my trip, Annie was diagnosed with lymphoma and a week later suffered a spinal cord injury. She was on three different medications and needed constant care with her mobility. Loveli and Annie instantly bonded. Within a week Annie was walking on her own. I credit Loveli's passionate care for how well Annie recovered. We're still dealing with her cancer but she is doing remarkable. Both Annie and I have bonded with a very special person.
