This individual should not be allowed to use the Rover platform. Your animals will not be safe around her. Rover should offer clients the option to report dog sitters like Brittany. Don’t believe me, scroll down to the review posted by Elise S. on November 3, 2023. Obviously, this was not the first time she acted like this. We gave Brittany access to our home, leaving snacks for her and telling her she was welcome to anything that was in the pantry or fridge. I told her I wanted to make things as comfortable for her as possible because we just needed someone to be kind to our dogs. One of my dogs is 18 years old and cannot hold his bladder anymore. We explained this to her. She knew she would have to clean up after him. We left her all the tools she needed. Other dog sitters have had no problem doing this, but according to her, this was too challenging for Brittany. I wrote down instructions and even left her a notebook with all the instructions. She wasn’t following the instructions, but I figured, as long as she’s nice to my dogs and feeds them, even if she wasn’t feeding them at the times I had asked her to. I praised her for all the updates and thanked her multiple times. I had also asked her to water my plants and told her I would compensate her for that when I returned. I checked in on the dogs occasionally but trusted they were in good hands because I trusted her updates. These are just a veil for her vile behavior. Then came the night of the 19th. I checked the cameras and saw that it was already late, the lights were off downstairs, and my dog was not in her crate. She is the only one that sleeps in a crate. Not only that, but the gate to the stairs was wide open even though I had asked her multiple times to make sure the gates were always closed. I texted her, and she didn’t answer. I called her multiple times, and she didn’t answer. When she finally answered, it was with an attitude. I was watching the cameras to make sure the gate would get closed, and to my surprise, she was walking around in underwear and topless, saying, “Damn, shut up dude, I’m not finished yet. I tell her every night before I go to bed that I’m going to bed.” Keep in mind that she was well aware there were cameras all over my home. She went back downstairs and told my dog to go upstairs, but at this point, my dogs wanted nothing to do with her. My dog finally gave in and went upstairs, and she said, “Thank you, f*cking Ch**st. I hate this f*cking b*tch, bro.” Brittany was talking like this to my dog, even though she knows I have cameras. I can't imagine what she does when people are not watching. That night, I knew I had to try to get a hold of someone to go watch my dogs. I could not let this vile human being be around my dogs and in my home any longer. The next morning, I finally found someone. As I waited, I watched my dogs the entire time to make sure she wasn’t physical with them. I watched as she fed my dogs and snapped at one of my little dogs for following her around. My little dog used to be a stray, and it took us a long time to get him to trust people, and here she was in my dog’s home, talking to him like this. My dog was only trying to engage with her. When I told her this in a text, she replied saying that she was cleaning multiple messes at the time. She was on her phone. I know this because I was watching. I sent my mom over there, and I politely told her she was free to gather her things and leave. I have not gone through the rest of the footage because I honestly feel so guilty that I had left my poor animals in the supposed care of this terrible person. Do not listen to her ridiculous responses trying to justify herself. She is a total hypocrite. I wish I could post the videos of her when we were home as opposed to when we left. She had the sweetest voice when we were there, and she sounded like a completely different person when she was speaking to poor defenseless animals. I will not be using the Rover app for my animals until they decide to hold their sitters accountable. Situations like these should be grounds for them to be removed from the site completely. As far as I'm concerned, Rover is putting animals in danger by allowing people like Brittany to use this platform. You've been warned.

We love Brittany! We have hired her to stay at our home while we have travelled both internationally and locally, and we have such peace of mind when we know she is taking care of our furbabies! She is kind, professional, and a wonderful communicator-- she always makes sure to send us pics and updates. We always appreciate that she is so accomodating of our furbaby dynamic (cling-on dogs vs. Escape artist kitties), and our animals are always happy to see her when she starts her visits with us. We would definitely recommend Brittany!

Brittany was absolutely amazing. She took care of our two dogs and our two cats for ~5 days. Our animals, and our home, were all in great shape upon our return. She sent lots of videos and updates. I would highly recommend her.
