“Margerita was great! She is clearly an animal lover! She was on time, took clear pictures of my two senior boys when they ate, and cleaned the cat box just like I requested (it fills up too fast to skip it, because kidney disease). She spent time hanging out so they got the human interaction that these two social cats crave. She has a very friendly and polite demeanor, and a flexible schedule that made it easy to come by at the times I needed her. I would hire her again!”

“Daisy is so wonderful!! I am grateful for the peace of mind I have when she watches our cats. She always goes above and beyond to make sure they are happy and healthy. We appreciate her! 😊”

About: Hello, I am an animal lover with a pretty flexible schedule and a heart full of compassion. I believe pets are family and should be treated as such. I am present and fun and guarantee your fur babies will love their time with me! I enjoy spending time with animals and playing outdoors with them for long and short periods of time and also understand dogs have emotions just like people and need love just the same. I truly believe your pets will enjoy their time with me and will be very well taken care of while in my care. I understand how stressful vacation planning can already be and look forward to helping out with your fur babies in anyway possible. Talk to you soon! I’m currently working part-time (school hours) and have plenty of time to play and care for your pets after work. That is if they still have energy after spending all morning with my hubby, as he works nights. I am pretty much free after 3pm on weekdays. As for the month of June I am available after 1pm and completely available for the month of July. I enjoy spending time with animals and giving them time to explore the outdoors. I am patient and am able to keep up with high energy pets as well. I use baby gates in my home for safety and access.
“Ashanti was awesome with our excitable and emotional pibbles named Ruby. Ruby immediately warmed up to her. As an equally anxious dog Mom and I knew she’d be a great hands. Two thumbs and two paws up for Ashanti!”

About: I've been blessed with many canine pals thanks to my friends being dog owners. I've pet sat for dogs as small as yorkies and dogs as large as great dane/ bullmastiff breeds. I provide a friendly service of good care and good company. Together your pet and I will enjoy hiking, running and playing fetch. I'll provide them with proper nourishment and daily treats. If they aren't very mobile we can cuddle up together and enjoy some sweet rub downs. I'm available most weekdays generally from 8:00am-6:00pm. For overnight stays I can stay up to three days. I would prefer a detailed letter or note describing the type of care you expect from me. I want to ensure that I provide the best care for your dogs needs. I work part time during the weekdays. I’m available after 2:30 p.m. My weekends are pretty open, and we usually like to go on hiking adventures nearby. We go on walks daily. I have a cozy place where your pup has free roam. I don’t have a yard or balcony. There’s a dog park one block away from my apartment. Plenty of neighborhoods to explore on foot. I have one Husky that loves to play. She loves friends and has a lot of energy.
“Sylvia was fantastic! I didn’t have to worry about a thing while i was on my trip. She let me know when she arrived and she took plenty of pictures! I’m very appreciative of how she cared for my boy and will definitely have her check in on him next time i’m away!”

“Eva was amazing with our cat. She was attentive and very communicative which was great for nervous pet parents leaving their cat for the first time. Eva has a wonderful temperament with cats and a calm energy that I think works well for any animal that is shy around new people. I will definitely be booking Eva again for our next trip.”

“MK took great care of my guinea pigs while I went away on a weekend vacation!! It was so great knowing that I didn't have to worry about pet care while away. It's even more great that there are people willing to care for other animals outside of the usual cat/dog - highly recommend this sitter!!”

About: I've been a frequent pet sitter since I was in Junior High, as well as always taking care of my own I'd often take care of my grandparents, uncles, and friends. I work part-time so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets and live with family so they'll be taken care of when I'm not around :) I live in a gated home with a large backyard for your pet to roam free in :) I also have two different sized crates available if needed.
About: I got both of my dogs when they were 3 months old, so I know how to potty train, leash train, and teach basic commands. I am able to give medications if needed and I know how to deal with even the stubborn dogs. I work from home and have a flexible schedule so I'll have plenty of time to play with and check on your furry friends during the day/week! I always let the pet make the first move to build trust and recognition. I am a very attentive person and will be sure to make certain the pet has plenty of food, water, comfort, and engagement at all times.
About: I bring a unique blend of veterinary medicine experience and hands-on foster work into every pet I care for. I’ve worked in veterinary settings and have a strong understanding of animal health, behavior, and stress signals, which allows me to provide safe, attentive, and low-stress care. In addition to my vet med background, I actively foster dogs through local shelters, including those needing extra support, structure, or decompression outside of the shelter environment. I’m experienced with a wide range of temperaments—from high-energy dogs to more sensitive or anxious pets—and I prioritize patience, consistency, and positive interactions. Whether your pet needs a calm, structured environment, help maintaining routines, or just extra attention while you’re away, I treat every animal like they’re my own. My goal is to provide reliable, informed care you can feel confident in.
About: I've always had dogs and crate trained my dogs. I know how to train basic commands but nothing really beyond that. I do love playing with dogs and also relaxing with them as well. I do work full time but I do work from home most of the week. So my schedule is pretty flexible for the most part. I have a fenced yard, and 4 friendly dogs. We do have 2 cats but they stay outside as they don't like our dogs. I make sure the the pet I babysit is comfortable and listen to instructions on the owners requests.
About: I might not have experience with other people’s pets, but I have never not had animals. My family once had 5 dogs and 1 cat at the same time. I feed and played with all of them and want to transfer those loving skills to your adorable pet in need! I am stupidly free right now - friendly as well! Just let me know, I am honestly really flexible. I just don’t have the space to sit, but I dan walk your pets and sit them at your home! I current can’t sit at my home, but at your home, I will follow every safety rule AND SOME because this is someone’s fur baby.

Modesto cat parents share their Rover experiences
Sarah is the best! I have been using rover for over two years and she is truly the best sitter I’ve ever had. She sent detailed messages about each visit and went above and beyond every time. I felt so at ease during my vacation knowing my cats were in the best hands. Definitely recommend if you want a responsible and very professional sitter that gives you peace of mind when you’re away!

Grace is lovely! She stepped in to take care of my cat while I was away for 2 weeks and filled in the rover drop-in cards daily for me (with picutures) which was reassuring for me as a pet owner. Grace is very gentle and kind to animals and I highly recommend Grace to look after your pets.

Eva was amazing with our cat. She was attentive and very communicative which was great for nervous pet parents leaving their cat for the first time. Eva has a wonderful temperament with cats and a calm energy that I think works well for any animal that is shy around new people. I will definitely be booking Eva again for our next trip.
