Hello! I'm Sarah - I am a crafter, reader, and avid cat enthusiast located in Modesto. I have run my own pet-sitting business for four years now, caring for dogs and cats full-time previously in Chicago and then transitioning part-time to cats only when I made my move out to California. I am extremely involved in TNR (trap, neuter, return) and spend a majority of my free time trying to improve the quality of life for all kitties who inhabit our valley, owned or not. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your cat(s) when you go out of town, and my primary goal with all clients is to alleviate any stress and provide peace of mind via detailed visit reports, lots of photos, and prompt communication. I am experienced in reading all ranges of kitty body language and cues, and I will always respect your cat's boundaries and go at their own pace. I have extensive experience in administering medication, including pills, powders, liquids, injections (insulin), and even subcutaneous fluids. I have specific experience managing Chronic Kidney Disease, Diabetes, and Pancreatitis, and with following unique diets and schedules for the extra special kitties (raw, wet, homemade, etc). I am also experienced with small to large freshwater fish tanks, and had a 32 gallon of my own for over a year. I am open to caring for smaller critters as well (Rodents and reptiles)! Here is what you can expect when booking with me for the first time: 1. Professional, timely replies 2. An in-person, efficient meet and greet to iron out any concerns and learn your cat's schedule and needs 3. Detailed visit reports with a play-by-play of your cat's activity, as well as lots of pictures 4. Peace of mind - I am independently insured outside of the Rover Guarantee, certified in pet first aid and CPR through the Red Cross, and am always available to respond to any concerns that may arise 5. The opportunity to re-book in the future if you were happy with my services! Important Notes: 1. Any key pick-up or drop-off that takes place outside of the meet and greet or actual booking are subject to a $10 charge each way to account for time and mileage. 2. I require a meet and greet with all new clients. Please plan accordingly! Standards of Care: The minimum standard of care I will accept for cats is at least one visit every other day unless a family member/friend is subsidizing care. I also do not allow any cats to go outside unsupervised while under my care. Please do not book unless you are willing to meet this standard.

Safety, trust & environment
I will always be respectful of your home and belongings while caring for your cat. Services included with my visits at no additional charge consist of bringing in the mail, managing trash, and watering plants (within reason). Please note that all indoor and outdoor cameras must be disclosed prior to service; undisclosed cameras will result in an immediate cancellation. I do not mind being on camera, but require a heads-up so we can be on a level of mutual trust.

Sarah is the absolute BEST. I went out of town for a wedding (very stressful and busy time) and Sarah gave me peace of mind that my pets are taken care of. I was never worried as she always sent very long, detailed messages about her visits and always goes the extra mile. I cannot recommend her enough! Very kind, communicative, and professional.
Sarah is the best! I have been using rover for over two years and she is truly the best sitter I’ve ever had. She sent detailed messages about each visit and went above and beyond every time. I felt so at ease during my vacation knowing my cats were in the best hands. Definitely recommend if you want a responsible and very professional sitter that gives you peace of mind when you’re away!

Sarah was very sweet and made sure she covered everything I mentioned in our first meet. She left a very long thorough description of her visit and left plenty of photos of my kitten Mabel. Would 100% recommend.
We had such a wonderful experience with Sarah while we were away for a week. She was incredibly thorough and thoughtful in her care. It was clear from the start that our cat was in the best hands. She kept us updated every day with photos and visit cards detailing what she had done. It gave us so much peace of mind while we were gone. Our cat absolutely adored her (and so did we!). We can’t recommend Sarah highly enough and will absolutely book with her again!
Sarah took great care of our cats! We always miss them when away from home, but her daily updates made it a lot easier knowing they were in good hands ❤️

Schedule
I work full-time in office Monday-Friday (8-4). I am available for morning and evening visits throughout the week (before and after I go into the office) and any time on the weekends. My calendar is always up to date. Please reach out if you have any questions about my availability!
