“Hana is amazing! I have been extremely scatterbrained and she’s been very understanding and worked with me when I messed up our walking schedule. She is a true dog whisperer and I trust her with our (sometimes very angry) 13 year old husky. She is very patient with him (and me) and has been a real lifesaver for dog walking on our busy 15 hour days!”

“I can't say enough good things about my dog walker! She has been an absolute lifesaver. Always showing up with a positive attitude, she’s proactive, reliable, and genuinely caring. My pup is definitely a handful—she’s dog reactive and not the easiest to manage—but that’s never been an issue. She handles her with so much patience, skill, and understanding. I especially appreciate the photo updates and messages after walks—it gives me so much peace of mind during the day. It’s clear she really gets dogs and loves what she does. I’m so grateful for her help and feel lucky to have found someone so trustworthy and kind. Highly recommend!”

“Ravit did walks with our dog Ada for a little over a week. She quickly bonded with Ada, who was excited to see her every day. Ravit was flexible when we wanted to change times or find extra times. She took great cute pictures and gave frequent updates. Highly recommend!”

About: Hello, my name is Cindy! I've had my first dog when I was 10. I have two poodles in Beijing with my mom, two Maltipoo in Cali with my dad, and I now have a 1-year-old miniature schnauzer my own. I provide my dog with the best treats from Acana, Orijen, VitalEssentials and etc. I will also cook boiled veggies and chicken breast for my dog. I care the most about my dog's health. I want to do dog sitting is because I am currently on break at home and also would like my dog to meet other new friends. She is super friendly with other dogs and loves to play. Can't wait for her to meet new friends!!! I am currently on break so will be at home most time during the day. Will be able to provide potty breaks every 3-5 hours. I live in an apartment with two friendly cats and a dog, and I have cameras at home to ensure safety and peace of mind when pets are in my care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their space and privacy—I never go beyond what’s necessary for the pet’s wellbeing. Cleanliness and supervision are my top priorities, and I treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own.

About: I’ve always been around dogs growing up. I treat them as if they are my best friends whether it’s going on a walk, playing, or just keeping them company in the same room as we do our own thing. I like to talk with them even though I know they can’t respond in the same way, and I know when to give them space or when to engage with them. I currently am enrolled in a m-th full-time teaching credential at SDSU. Since I have Fridays and the weekend off, I am looking to make some sort of income since I am not being payed with this program. I always check in with the pets to see how they are doing physically and emotionally. I give them lots of love and make sure they have the things they need such as food, water, a place to use the restroom, and toys!

About: My partner and I have owned and cared for dogs for the past 20+ years. I have 3 years of experience walking dogs at the humane society which has helped me work with a range of temperaments and needs. We currently have a very active 8 year old Brittany who gets along well with other dogs. I currently work from home full time and can take the dogs out for bathroom breaks and walks as needed. If there are other specific needs, I can work with you as well. I have a small fenced in yard, but the pets will spend majority of their time with me inside the house. We’ll often be found walking around the hillcrest/university/NP neighborhoods or Balboa park. *dogs must be leash trained

About: I have always been drawn to animals and love being around them. As a San Diego native and nature lover, a nice long walk with a dog is one of my absolute favorite things to do. I've lived with and cared for my brother's two dogs for almost a decade and have either owned or had experience with fish, birds, cats and even bunnies as well. Although I'm currently at a point in my life where I'm not ready to have any pets myself, I'm the go-to pet sitter for my friends and family and am always open to the opportunity to have even more animals to care for and love on in my life. I work in a chiropractic office currently operating under a hybrid in office/ work from home schedule. I work 9-5 MWF but have flexibility throughout the rest of the week and weekends off. When I am caring for a pet they are my top priority, whether that means bringing the pet with me into the office or leaving midday for a check up and/or potty break. I have a fenced in concrete back yard with a swimming pool but the pool area has a separate gate that can be locked while caring for pets. We also have a side yard with grass to utilize while leashed.

About: I have 2 dogs, one big one small. Been taking care of them alone since i was 15. I’m very patient and I will take them any day of the week Part time worker, full-time student. Free everyday of the week except Wednesday. Spend a lot of time at home studying, need a buddy to keep me company Love pets, love long walks around the neighborhood. I live alone so there is plenty of space. A lot of free time so somebody deserves the attention.

About: With over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals, I’ve developed a deep understanding and genuine love for pets of all sizes and personalities. My experience spans from large dog breeds to small animals like guinea pigs and rats, giving me a well-rounded skill set in animal care. I have extensive experience administering medications, including insulin injections for diabetic pets, as well as oral and topical treatments for a variety of conditions. I’m confident in handling pets with medical needs and always prioritize their comfort and safety. In addition, I’ve worked with reactive dogs and understand the importance of patience, calm energy, and proper behavior management techniques. Whether it’s a high-energy pup or a shy, sensitive companion, I tailor my approach to meet each animal’s unique needs. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s part of who I am. Even with a full-time job, pet care is a consistent and intentional part of my daily routine. I structure my mornings and evenings to make sure my Lab is well-fed, gets her medication, and has time for mental and physical stimulation. Whether it’s a walk, puzzle toy, or a short training session, I build these moments into my day because they’re important—for both her well-being and our bond. Caring for animals isn’t something I squeeze in—it’s something I prioritize and make time for, every single day. I currently share my home with a purebred Labrador, and while I previously cared for two cats and have experience with guinea pigs, my passion for animal care remains just as strong. My Lab is fed two to three times a day, with a consistent morning and evening routine that includes administering her daily medication. Mental stimulation is a big part of our day—I regularly switch up her feeding methods and use a variety of enrichment toys and puzzles to keep her engaged and mentally sharp. I also believe that training shouldn’t stop after puppyhood. We continue to work on new tricks and reinforce good behavior through positive, ongoing training sessions. Caring for animals is something I take seriously and joyfully. Whether it’s daily routines, health needs, or enrichment activities, I make sure the pets in my care feel safe, stimulated, and loved.

About: Fear Free Certified Professional. I was born and raised in San Diego in a military family, honesty and commitment has always been engraved in me. I've always been an animal lover and have persued my my passion with animals by working in a Veterinary hospital and working to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. I have rescued and rehabilitated many different breeds of dogs and am comfortable with all sizes from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. When I have boarding animals they must be up to date on vaccines as I take most of them to work with me. Otherwise pets will always have someone with them. I treat all pets as if they were my own. I have birds (parrots), so as long as they don't try and knock cages over there shouldn't be an issue. I can offer pick up and drop off and can bathe your baby as well! I go for daily walks, hikes or trips to the dog park depending on what the dog and owners preferred. Sometimes my boarders go to work with me unless they prefer to stay home. They are in a fully fenced yard and never allowed off leash. They are never left unattended outside. Our dogs enjoy having house guests to hang out with.

Brooke N.
“Brooke goes above and beyond when it comes to caring for pets. She’s loving, attentive, and truly excellent at what she does. She cared for both my dog and cat while I was away, and I was blown away by how happy and relaxed they were when I returned. Before Brooke, my dog would squirm and resist when I tried to put on her harness—but after two weeks with Brooke, she now walks right into it with her tail wagging! That kind of trust and transformation speaks volumes. There was even a mid-trip sitter switch with my adult daughter, and she told me how easy and professional Brooke made the transition. We’ve since had Brooke watch the pets again, and we added my daughter’s dog Scout at the last minute—Scout is usually fearful of new people, but Brooke quickly won her over. I can’t recommend Brooke enough. She’s calm, capable, and clearly loves animals. You and your pets will be lucky to have her!”

Victoria C.

“Mark is so sweet!! He cared for my puppy when I was out of town (4 days) and I swear my puppy fell in love with him! When I came back my Oso (my pups name) didn’t want him to leave! He walked him 3 times each day, fed him and kept his water fresh, and played with him plenty. He sent me update pics and videos which made me feel assured that Oso was in good hands. Mark is my go to guy for watching my little boy when I can’t. There is no one else I’d trust my Oso with 🤎.”

YUWEI H.

“Yuwei (EVELYN) is great with my fur sister . They go on walks and she brings her water to drink which makes my fur sister feel more comfortable . Thank you for your hard work it's much appreciated.”

Jenae I.
“When I first moved to San Diego, I did not yet have any connections that would watch my 8 year old Husky/Malamute, Shiloh. I had to leave town unexpectedly for a week, and found Jenae on Rover. Jenae was able to meet with Shiloh and I within the next hour. Shiloh immediately warmed up (initially shy with strangers) to Jenae as she showcased her expertise and genuine care for animals. While I was away, Jenae kept me sufficiently updated with pictures of Shiloh playing fetch, going for walks, and having bath time! (her favorite) It gave me peace of mind knowing that my Shiloh was not only being taken care of but made a new friend and a second home. I will definitely be bringing Shiloh back to see her bestie, Jenae. Thank you!”

Cindy L.
“Cindy is great with dogs. She is truly a dog lover! I’ve never seen someone who cares about her dog so much like she does!”

Kristen Joy G.
“Kristen is a fantastic pet caregiver! She has years of experience with all kinds of animals, including dogs, cats, and reptiles. She’s always loving, responsible, and playful with every pet she meets. Kristen cared for her own dog, Lassie, for over 15 years, and they shared so many fun adventures together. She also helped me take care of my bearded dragon when it was a baby, she was very gentle and knowledgeable with bearded dragons. I would trust her with any pet!”

Melissa H.
“Melissa is amazing. She has watched over my shy nervous puppy dog (Finn) and put him right at ease. Finn is always super excited to see her and her dog Lou. Melissa is responsible, caring, attentive and loves animals!”

Alexandra S.
“Allie is an amazing dog sitter extraordinaire! She has watched our fur baby for weeks at a time, loves going on long walks with him to make sure he got enough exercise, is attentive to his meal schedule and nutrition needs, and loves bringing him to the dog park, playing with him, keeping him healthy etc. I've always felt super confident and comfortable with Allie taking care of our pup. She loves dogs with all her heart, and it shows in their smiles. :) Radha and John”

Abraham U.
“If I were a dog, I’d want you to dogsit me. Seriously. You treat every pup like royalty—walks, belly rubs, the whole spa treatment. I’ve seen dogs fall in love with you faster than some humans do. You’re basically the dog whisperer with a heart of gold, and any pet parent would be lucky to have you on their speed dial.”

Piper J.
“I have a pretty anxious dog, but Piper is very patient with him and has been deliberate about building his trust. I can always count on her to take great care of him when I am out of town. I am so grateful to have someone reliable I can count on to looking after him!”

Leiah was so sweet!! I have a very high energy pup, which is no small task. He came back so happy, calm, and totally tired out! I will definitely recommend Leiah to anyone with an energetic dog who needs a good walk and lots of love. She also provided me with updates and pictures of my fur baby throughout the day. Thank you, Leiah!

Rochelle was absolutely amazing to our dog Kimchi! We had a little unusual request by asking her if she could dog sit/ walk our dog during our engagement photoshoot so he could be included the pictures with us. She was so sweet, friendly and patient with him. He’s a very anxious dog and he warmed up to her so quickly! She was also so helpful in trying to get him to look in the photos! Lol.
