About: Always had animals and used to train Shepards with my father and his company. Very excited to meet your furry friends and play with them Home for the summer and want to meet new animals and be able to support myself at college when I go back in the fall I am very careful when it comes to the safety of animals and I am very aware of any directions you have and anywhere there is danger for your animals

About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life and genuinely love being around animals. My dog, Bearra, a Lab and German Shepherd mix, recently passed away after living an amazing 15.5 years. She was such a huge part of my life and taught me how important patience, love, exercise, and attentive care are for pets at every stage of life. As a teacher on summer break, I’m looking forward to spending more time outside doing something I truly enjoy, caring for and spending time with dogs. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I would love the opportunity to provide dependable, caring, and attentive service for both you and your dog. I am a teacher on summer break, so I currently have a very flexible schedule with my days, evenings, and weekends available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I enjoy being active and outside, so caring for pets fits naturally into my daily routine and gives me the opportunity to spend time doing something I genuinely love. While I do not have a private yard, my complex has safe grassy areas for walks and bathroom breaks, and I enjoy taking dogs on walks around Coronado, Seaport Village, and Miramar Reservoir. I treat pets like family, so they are welcome on the furniture and will receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and care while they are with me.
About: Hi my name is Alex I’m a secretary but I’m starting a Medical program this August I’m currently living in San Diego a few things about myself is that I’ve lived with animals most of my life, mostly dogs a couple of cats almost all came from shelters or rescues a few we picked up from the streets. Some of the dogs that I’ve adopted from the shelter or rescues were older around 5-6 years old. I have taken care of dogs who have needed to take daily medication and some that are skittish around people. I have also taken care of pregnant dogs and newborn puppies What I’ve come to learn from being around all these animals is that with enough patience and care there is no animal that can’t be loved. I’m currently working as a remote secretary which allows me to manage my own hours I have a car so travel is easy to arrange I usually don’t have any work on the weekend. I usually ask the pet parents for a physical or emailed list of things they allow with their pet babies or don’t allow in their homes or in general.

About: I dog sit for my uncle here and there but, everywhere I go I've always attracted dogs and cats. I worked in property management for 6 years and the resident's dogs were always receptive to my voice and touch in every property I worked in. I definitely consider myself a dog person :) My schedule is open as of now but, I prefer to walk dogs in the daytime and until sunset, will consider certain limitations if present. I go to my uncle's house, he leaves the key with me, and I make sure their dog has enough food and water. I also let her run outside and I keep the dog company for as long as I can.

About: In total I’ve had 5 dogs in my lifetime, dating far back to when I was a baby! Dogs of many sizes and kinds of dogs from small to big, a labrador rottweiler mix, bichon frise and the rest being rat terriers. So from about the time I was born until I was 13 (I am now 20), I owned 5 dogs :). I loved being able to walk my dogs, taking them to parks, just being in their company really. I look after my friends’ dogs on occasion as well as my relative’s when they’re busy and decided that I would love to make it into a career. I don’t have a job, and I’m a student at Southwestern, I was full time last semester but the semester ended just last week. I will be fully free for the next two weeks with the exception of Friday’s from 6pm-11pm (can be negotiated if need be!). I’m open every week day and every day of weekend, willing to work anywhere from 8am until about 5pm. I will be taking one class in the summer, ballet (dance), that begins June 15th, ends August 8th and runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:25am to 11:25 AM for all three days. I would not be allowed to host any pet in my house as we have two babies in the house and we’re not fully aware of their allergies yet, however, it would be best for me to do drop ins or house sitting sessions for that reason. I think doing a meet and greet beforehand would be amazing so that we could have a chance to meet each other first and maybe introduce me to your pet to see if I could be a good match to sit for them instead of blindly throwing me with them!
About: My name is Tara, and I am a nurse by day. I have two cats that are my children, and am always looking to love on other fur babies. I am available to walk dogs, do drop in visits, house-sit animals in a client's home, and administer medications. I can clean after pets and care for puppies and kittens as well. I have previously volunteered at animal shelters and worked with many different animals. Other than pet care, I love being outdoors and staying active in nature. I absolutely love to travel in my spare time. I am also available for farm animal care as well- although I don't have any experience in this I would really love to learn. Thank you for reading! I am taking a break from nursing for a couple months and my schedule is pretty flexible/open! I am happy to provide care during this time of transition. I am reliable, friendly, and safe in my interactions with pets. Regardless of the temperament of the animal, I can read animals body language well and know how to make them feel safe.
“Monique is such an amazing pet guardian. She works well to accommodate and flexes with my schedule, is communicative and has such a calmness about her that my dog and cats all like and trust her. I’m at ease when I know my pets are under her care whenever I’m away.”

I’ll provide updates and pictures, and will keep your pets happy and safe, giving you peace of mind while you’re away! I work a full-time job during the week. I’m open to overnights and have availability for weekends. I can also do drop-ins on the weekends as well! I work in La Jolla, may have more flexibility in the area. I am currently only available to do pet care in your home. I’m happy to do other tasks around the house while you’re gone and keep your home clean. About: Hello! My name is Amanda and I am currently a stay at home mom. I have 2 dogs named Cal and Luna; a shepperd mix, and a retriever mix. Cal and Luna are both a little over 7 years. I have had older dogs since they were puppies so I do know the round the clock care that dogs need at every stage of their life. I am absolutely an all around animal lover so anything that would make your pet feel comfortable I am willing to do. I love to take my dogs everywhere that I go so they can feel constantly included and not feel as if they are being forgotten at home or left out. I look forward to hanging out with your best friends.
“Zoarel is so good with my dog Brady! He loves walking with her. She gives great updates and walk cards with lots of information about how the walk went. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I am a proud Dog mom. With 20years of experience. I understand the importance of pet care starting from birth. I feel confident in saying I will always do my best for you family. “Tara is a top tier dog walker. She had so much patience with my shy, stranger-averse dog and took extra time to build trust. Tara left detailed rover cards for each walk and took plenty of photos.”

About: I’ve spent a lot of time around family and friends’ pets and have helped take care of them when needed. I’m comfortable feeding, walking, playing with, and keeping pets company while their owners are away. I’m patient, responsible, and always make sure animals feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I am currently attending school two days a week, but I am available for pet sitting on all other days, including weekends. I love spending time with pets and am flexible to accommodate walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays during my available days. I follow all instructions carefully and respect your space. About: I grew up with dogs in the house, and have always helped out at animal shelters. I love dogs big and small, and have dog sat for people with dogs as small as chihuahua to dogs as big as Tibetan mastiffs. I currently have a rescue pit/lab mix. I have my own car, so pick ups, drop offs, and dog sitting at the owner’s house would not be an issue. I do speak Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese fluently in case there is a need for communication with the owners or families in a different language. I love outdoor sports and walks in the park and trail, so that is something I could offer if the owner wishes their pups get some more exercise. I have also cat sit for friends many of times. I have never had a cat of my own, but always enjoy playing with my friends’ cats. Honestly, I love animals of all kinds! I’m an icu nurse, so I work 3 days a week. Rest of the time I spend hanging out with friends and families and my dog. I typically walk my dog about 3 times a day and feed him twice a day. Depending on what your pet’s needs are, I am flexible to meet your pet’s needs.

Danielle is wonderful! She’s timely, always communicative and provides such sweet care for our pup. We have an excited pup and Danielle is quick to calm her down and start walking. Our girl comes back home worn out and happy :) I would definitely recommend Danielle.

Janet takes such great care of my dogs and makes it so much easier to be away from them. She’s attentive, patient, communicative, and my dogs absolutely love her. They always get plenty of exercise, attention, and quality care, and are happy and relaxed when I get home. I absolutely trust Janet with my pets and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker or sitter!

Hannah is a kind and caring dog walker. Not only did Hannah take good care of my brother's Lab Bailey, she was instrumental in getting Bailey placed in a good foster home while my brother recovers from his recent illness. I would not hesitate to use Hannah's services again!
Stephanie has been an amazing dog walker/companion for my pup while I’m at work. She’s been walking my baby Nahua consistently for about a month now. When I first found her on Rover she was kind enough to take time out of her day for a meet and greet . My baby is usually very apprehensive to meet people and does not trust easily. But after only 1 walk she now gets excited to see her. Stephanie has an electric and upbeat energy about her. She responds promptly, makes sure to keep me updated with multiple photos and detailed updates about their walks together . She is consistent, reliable, dedicated and goes above and beyond to care for my pup. More often that not she even extends the walk to give my baby more time outdoors. I would highly recommend her to care for your four legged children 🦮🐾. I hope Stephanie can continue to pencil us in for her services for a long time to come.
