About: As a full-time retired “dog grandpa,” I’ve spent over 50 years caring for dogs of every shape, size, and personality. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me for decades to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pups just like my own. About: I have a love for animals in particular dogs. I have had big and small dogs all of my life. I have a big home with a large fenced yard and lots of play spaces for dogs who prefer privacy. All dogs sleep inside where I have baby gates and lots of fun areas . I have experience with nervousness and shelter dogs. All first time clients receive a free doggy bandana and all of the proceeds from your tips go to the “Race for Autism 2026”. Im currently working from home, so I have lots of free time to care for your pets. I have had several elderly dogs with medication needs. I’m also a substitute school nurse and a full time mom of two adult children. I have a small dog who loves company and lots of room both indoor and outdoors. About: Grew up in New Mexico been taking care of animals my whole life, mom was a French bull dog breeder as well. I’ve been dog sitting now for two years. I currently am in school and work part time but it’s very flexible,part time and online. I always block off the days I can’t work on Rover however rare I’m unavailable. Love to know any specifics to better watch your fur baby while you’re away , and treat it like my own! Whether that be if they have a favorite toy , need a certain medicine at a certain time ! About: My senior dog was my very best friend and companion. I adopted him when my cousin wasn't able to care for him anymore. He passed away last May at the age of 14 after battling ongoing diseases/old age. We walked every day and he also had a big fenced garden to play in. I will make sure your dog has all the attention they need, plenty of restroom breaks, and their daily walks. I will treat them as my own furry friend. I am a stay at home mom and am available throughout the day to ensure they receive the attention they need. About: I love dogs. I have many years experience with feeding, administering meds, dog walking and yard care. I volunteer at the Bonita Animal Shelter and once a week I take a dog out for the day. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to leave my dogs for the day. Neither of them had been to “daycare” before and it made all the difference to have such a well maintained, open space to explore and relax in. They were immediately excited to explore and didn’t even notice that I left. Dawn is so clearly calm and competent, I didn’t worry at all while I was gone. One of my dogs wanted to be in the house and spent a lot of time sleeping on her bed, and Dawn was kind enough to let her hang out there. The best sign they were happy and comfortable: one dog has separation anxiety, and when I came to pick them up, she was excited to greet me, but then immediately turned around and went back into the yard, explored more, then asked to be let into the house. I don’t live in the area but will definitely book again if I’m back.
Thea was super friendly and very welcoming to us but with Kyro and that made me extremely happy and i felt more at ease. We just recently moved to SD and using Rover as well. She made the experience wonderful. Kyro had a blast with the other dogs and i’m pretty sure he was super satisfied as well ☺️

Corie took out reservation as a last minute request. I love that the dogs were allowed on furniture, inside, outside - the same freedoms they have at home. Communication as great from start to finish, including the three sets of photos that showed the girls were engaged and having fun.
