“This is the most welcoming and joyful home. One of the highlights is that my pup gets to play in secret paradise. You’ll understand if you book. I hope to reconnect with them soon. It’s so rare when the space and the family are absolute treasures.”

About: Prior to moving to California I’ve taken care of my pup for seven years. I have basic hands on training experience with dogs of all sizes. I love being around dogs and playing with them, walking them, and making them feel at home and safe. I am currently unemployed at the moment and focusing my time on pet sitting. I’m available Monday-Fridays at anytime ( no weekends) and will have all my attention on your pup and their wellbeing. I can also take in dogs up to 60 pounds! I may not have a fenced yard but i will give your dog plenty of potty breaks and however long you’d like me to walk them. I will keep them safe, loved, and the most comfortable I can.
“Dama was such a wonderful dog sitter, she was so communicative and I felt completely comfortable leaving our high strung Belgian boy with her while we enjoyed days out in San Diego (visited from Northern Nevada). Thank you for taking such good care of our boy!”

About: As a full-time retired “dog grandpa,” I’ve spent over 50 years caring for dogs of every shape, size, and personality. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me for decades to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pups just like my own. I currently share my home with a friendly spaniel mix who loves making new friends and helps create a warm, social atmosphere for visiting dogs. I’m patient, attentive, and happiest when I’m surrounded by wagging tails. From energetic youngsters to sweet seniors, I know how to keep each dog comfortable, confident, and cared for. Now that I’m fully retired, caring for pets has become one of the most enjoyable parts of my day. I’m home most of the time, which means your pet gets plenty of attention, frequent potty breaks, and peaceful company throughout the day. I’m available on weekends and most weekdays, and my open schedule allows me to keep your pet’s routine steady morning strolls, afternoon cuddles, or extra playtime, whatever they need. My home is set up with pets in mind. I have a secure fenced backyard with a large pet door so dogs can safely go in and out for fresh air and play. My spaniel mix is friendly and loves having canine company. We take daily walks to nearby parks, perfect for sniffing, exploring, and stretching those legs. Inside the house, pets are welcome to relax wherever they feel comfortable and yes, that includes the furniture. I provide a calm, supervised, and cozy environment, and I’m experienced with crates, medications, special diets, and supporting dogs with different energy levels or routines. Your dog will be treated like a cherished family member with all the gentle attention, structure, and warmth you’d expect from a loving retired grandpa.

“My first time using Rover and I felt at ease with Cherish’s responsiveness and updates for my puppy especially when I needed a last minute sitter. She was confident with her experience with all ages of animals and had some supplies that I was missing in the morning. I would recommend her and definitely use her again in the future!”

“I would highly recommend Vanessa for daycare. She was flexible and could accommodate us last minute, which I am very grateful for! She was patient with my dog Kirby, who seemed well-cared for, happy, and tired when I picked her up. Thank you very much, Vanessa!”

About: I grew up with multiple dogs in my house, so having dogs around has always felt like home. I currently have the sweetest, super friendly Yorkie who loves other dogs and makes everyone feel welcome. I’ve also done Rover with my sister for many years, so caring for pups of all personalities comes naturally to me. I now have a larger home with a yard and plenty of space to run, play, nap, and just enjoy being a dog. No stiff schedules here just a cozy, happy place full of love, cuddles, and tail wags. Whether you’re heading to work for the day or away for a couple of days, I’m your girl. I’m the person who sees a dog and immediately says, you’re so cute, come here, I just want cuddles. Your dog will be loved, spoiled (in a good way), and treated like part of the family while you’re gone.

Bobbi had such a good time at Cherishs house! She got to meet all new types of animals and hang with some other pups too. Cherish was super responsive and sent tons of photos throughout the day so I felt comfortable. It is so relieving to know that I have a safe and fun place for Bobbi to be when I have to work long hours!

Heather was fantastic with Chief! She was warm, reliable, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. She took great care of him and made sure he felt comfortable and well loved during his time with her. We really appreciated her updates and could tell Chief was happy and relaxed. We’d absolutely book with Heather again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring Rover sitter.

Berenice is amazing! She accepted to watch Mini within just a few hours of my request and was so responsive and attentive the entire time. It had been a few months since Mini’s first visit with her, but as soon as she saw Berenice again, she wagged her tail and jumped with excitement! That reaction said it all and immediately put me at ease, especially since Mini usually needs time to warm up to new people and dogs. How I can tell Berenice truly cares about the pets she watches? She shares pictures and notes about your pet's stay. I highly recommend her! 🐾🩷

Kat is awesome! Very welcoming and sweet. She invited me to her home for a meet and greet prior to the appointment to make sure everything would run smoothly. I felt very comfortable leaving my little one in her care. She was quick to respond and provided images and details about P-Nut's stay. I will definitely be asking her to dog sit again. She is a natural dog mama, big and small. Thank you so much for your help!

Elizabeth and her family were great with Mochi - he came in and immediately crashed out so I think that's a fair testament that he had a wonderful time playing with the family and their dogs! Elizabeth was super easy to communicate with and took a last minute booking request, which helped us out considerably. Will definitely reach out again in future. Thank you Elizabeth and family for taking such good care of Mochi and for the photos and feedback today, it was nice to know he was having fun while we were at work.
