Stay at Home Doggie Mom
Hello my name is Kristen and I grew up with several dogs, a couple of cats, and many wild creatures in my childhood. I received an educational course on how to care for and train dogs (and cats) with positive reinforcement, for example, sitting for treats and belly rubs. While living in San Diego, I still professionally boarded dogs and do check-ins for my repeating military clientele.

Ratings and reviews
Kristen did an amazing job taking care of my pups. She was communicative and gave updates with pics. The pups looked happy as we picked them up.

Excellent and would highly recommend to anyone. Provided updates regularly as well.

We had to go on a family emergency travel and Kristen took our fur babies in immediately. She kept us updated everyday and her family took very good care of our babies. We truly appreciate Kristen and her family.

Blaze had an amazing time during his stay with Kristen. He looked happy in the daily pictures I received. Blaze was taken on car rides, the beach, and walks. I was at ease knowing he was in good hands.

Kristen thanks so much for making Sequoia part of your family! You keep me up-to-date and I will trust you with her again!

This is my first time dog-sitting with Kristen on the Rover App. I appreciate Kristen & her family being there for Yuna, my 2 year-old Shepsky for a couple of days! They worked as a team and kept daily communication with videos, pictures and texts! Kristen made sure Yuna was never alone & had Ace (her dog) as a friendly playmate! Kristen also was very thoughtful, observant, respectful, responsible and kind. You can tell how passionate & loving Kristen is for dogs. I trust Kristen to take care of Yuna again. Thank you, Kristen!

Schedule
I'm currently a RBT and naval wife with 3 adult-teenagers, who can help give love and attention. We have plenty of time for feedings, walks, playtime, and cuddle time for your furry baby.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
While your pet is in my care, I will document with photos or videos daily. To show you the activities of what we did that day. We also live in a 2 story home with a doggie door that leads into our fence yard. Over the years with Rover, I owned (and loved) 2 wonderful labradors, named Lady and Ace. Lady was an elderly dog who likes things to be calm, and Ace was our hyper boy. They were opposites who loved love and were great with other dogs. ❤🐶 Unfortunately, Lady had passed due to her old age of 16 and Ace had succumbed to his brain tumor at age 9. They leave behind all their toys, bedding and dog treats for other dogs to enjoy. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact me. And feel free to check out my photos of my dogs, our home and yard. I look forward to working with you and caring for your pet.
A typical day
I'll try to stimulate your dogs with physical and mental attention. We can play plenty of games, such as fetch or tug of war. My adult kids will assist me in basic dog training, in lessons on how to sit, stay, heel, and lie down. We take breaks to calm down from the day with rubdowns and cuddles.
