*SPICY DOGS WELCOME!* I've been caring for animals all my life. I've been a professional dog trainer for 5 years. I offer every dog that stays with me playtime, socialization, walks, and time to rest and decompress. Boarding and Daycare are structured to fulfill each dog's unique needs while remaining safe. I'm experienced with all ages, sizes, and temperaments. If your dog has a strict routine, I'm happy to adhere to it while they are in my care. Please notify me of any and all special needs your pup might have; medication, food allergies, or anything else! *As stated above, I specialize in difficult dogs. I'm so happy I found Lori! She's responsive and proactive with communication, and the doggos loved her. She sent pictures and videos of playtime and answered all my questions and concerns about their safety during the heat wave that came through the area. I'll definitely be booking with her again!
Lori was wonderful from first contact and booking to pick up. We needed a local sitter while on vacation and she was thoughtful enough to offer extra time which was appreciated. At drop off we noted a secure fenced area which was plenty large. It was evident she had read each of the profiles and knew about each pet. The indoor area had large pens. She sent pictures that showed all pets comfortable and relaxed. And the Great Dane with big smile. We wish we could find someone like her in our state
Lori took on my anxious reactive puppers without batting an eye. My dog who usually takes time to relax around new people dropped her guard upon only meeting her once before the drop off. She sent updates and videos which showed the happiest dog on the planet. Many people find my dog to be a lot and I was in a pinch to find someone who could manage her. Lori was super easy to coordinate and work with, as well as accommodating and kind. Cannot recommend her enough

Lori is my favorite sitter! She is thoughtful, trustworthy, and overall takes great care of my dogs. She was also communicative about my dogs behavior while they were with her, and she was very patient with one of my dogs misbehaving a little. I can rest easy whenever my dogs are with her!
Lori took amazing care of Koda, she was patient and even though the booking was last minute she accepted and was able to keep him comfortable during the firework show. I would 1000% recommend her to anyone.

Schedule
I am a dog trainer that mostly works from home. Taking care of dogs is what I do all day, every day. I love what I do and treat each dog as my own. I strive to make your dogs stay with me fun and enjoyable. When you know your dog is safe and cared for, it makes it easier for you to leave them when necessary.

Safety, trust & environment
While in my care, dogs get structured play, which means if they can socialize with other dogs, they will have supervised play with safe dogs. If not, your dog will have individual play sessions with me. My backyard is fully fenced with a 6 foot fence. However, dogs are not left in the yard unattended. As I've mentioned, I am a dog trainer. I have certain boundaries that I hold all dogs to when they stay with me, even if they are not a training client. Mostly it involves door manners (not rushing through the door without permission) and calm behavior in the house, and excited play is reserved for outside.

A typical day
While in my care, all dogs get playtime, socialization, exercise, and down time to decompress. The exact type of play, socialization, and exercise is highly individualized to the dog I'm working with. I strive to offer genetically fulfilling play depending on the breed.

- While I do specialize in difficult dogs, I offer boarding and day care to all temperaments. I never allow dogs to play unsupervised. Dogs that cannot socialize with other dogs, will be given individual play and socialization time. Socialization for a dog that doesn't play with other dogs means walks or outings to socialize them to the environment. When dealing with dogs with behavioral issues, extra care and preparation is required. Contact me for more details.
