I’m retired and home most of the day, so pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I’m a homebody who truly enjoys spending time with animals. The only time I regularly leave the house is briefly to pick up my granddaughter from daycare. If a dog enjoys being out and about, I’m happy to include them in walks, outings, or dog-friendly errands—whether that’s a neighborhood stroll, a park visit, or a café stop. Of course, I always follow each owner’s preferences and only take dogs out if they’re comfortable and approved to do so.

A typical day
A typical day includes walks, playtime, and lots of attention. I make sure pets get exercise, fresh water, and regular potty breaks. We’ll spend time playing with toys, relaxing together, and going on calm neighborhood walks so they can explore new smells. I like to keep pets on their usual routine so they feel comfortable, safe, and happy while you’re away.

I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. Now that my daughter has moved out (and took the family dogs with her), my home feels way too quiet. I’m an empty nester with lots of love, time, and patience to give to your pup. I live in a calm, quiet neighborhood and have a large, secure backyard with plenty of space to roam, sniff, and relax—perfect for dogs who love being outdoors but also enjoy a cozy place to rest. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding routines, medications if needed, baths, and lots of affection. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home while you’re away.

Honestly, from the moment we met during the consultation we were immediately at ease. My pup had plenty of love while we were gone ( 13 days) and was actually sad when she came home - we think from missing Agueda! We couldn’t be happier with the care she received and if you are hesitating to book, don’t! She is great!
Agueda was a wonderful sitter and took great care of my pup! She sent updates and photos during the stay. My dog seemed relaxed and comfortable in her space. I absolutely recommend her and hope to see her again in the future!
