Hi! I’m a Zoology student working toward becoming a veterinarian, as well as a Military Conservation Agent veteran with hands-on animal care experience. I’m especially comfortable with dogs that need a little extra attention, including large breeds, anxious or reactive dogs, senior dogs, and pets recovering from medical procedures. I have dog training experience and am confident handling dogs with different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. My animal experience also includes working with wildlife such as bears, large cats, wolves, and coyotes, including emergency animal care and working alongside veterinarians. For pets with medical needs, I can administer medications, follow veterinary care instructions, monitor recovery, and watch closely for changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, or overall condition. I understand that emergencies and last-minute situations happen, so I may be able to accommodate short-notice bookings when other sitters are unavailable without meet & greet. My priority is always to keep your dog safe, comfortable, calm, and well cared for while giving you regular updates and peace of mind.

Tiancai was wonderful! She helped me with Misha while we were visiting family in San Diego for my Uncle's services. I needed care on the spot, she was available and it worked out great. Tiancai's communication on Misha during her care was awesome and reassuring. Very sweet puppy sitter.

tiamcai is hands down the best handler I've met. My dog can be a handful and is very strong, but tiamncai‘s experience with her own wolfdog really shows. She has a calm, commanding presence that dogs respect immediately. She isn't just a 'dog walker'; she is a professional handler who understands canine body language perfectly. I never worry about safety when my dog is with her.

Schedule
As a full-time student, I have a flexible schedule outside of my lab sessions. I’m available for early mornings, evenings, and most daytime hours, and I can often adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs. I may also be available for last-minute or short-notice bookings when my schedule allows.

I have professional experience handling high-drive, reactive, and challenging animals, including wolfdogs and wildlife. I’m confident working with strong breeds and know how to handle them safely, calmly, and with good judgment. I always respect your home, property, and your pet’s routine. During walks and stays, I use safe handling techniques and closely monitor your dog’s behavior and condition. I can also provide basic first aid, administer medications as instructed, and support established training or behavior routines when needed.

A typical day
I usually start the day with an active morning walk or run. As a biology student, I enjoy keeping dogs mentally engaged with enrichment games, playtime, and outdoor exploration. Your dog will get plenty of exercise, regular potty breaks, attention throughout the day, and plenty of time to relax comfortably while I study at home.
