About: I've always loved all animals since I was a kid but have a special affinity for dogs and cats. I lost my sweet pup, Ewan, in 2019 to Hemangiocarcoma (a blood cancer) and to this day I still mourn him and can feel his presence in my life. I also lost my dear cat, Figaro, last year to natural old age causes. I'm a very good dog and cat dad and miss them terribly. In the past few years, so many friends and family have asked me to pet sit their fur babies and they always remark that they know their dog or cat is in the best possible hands with me. That they can actually relax on their trip because of how responsible and devoted I am to their pets and how much their pets adore me. Everyone has been encouraging me to sign up for Rover and now I'm finally doing it! I honestly believe Ewan and Figaro guided me here in their own way to spend time with your beloved kiddos. I look forward to getting to meet you and your pets! I work remotely from home as a story consultant and my longest sessions are around 2 hours, so I have most of the day to hang out with your fur baby! If your pet is staying at my place, they'll most likely hang out with me in the large loft area where I work. So they won't be left alone (unless they're the type that needs their space!) The minute they tell me they need to go out for a walk or really just need attention, I'm all theirs. If they're used to taking naps or sleeping on the bed at night, that also is fine by me! :) If I'm at your place, of course I'll abide by your exact rules for them. I follow instructions well and provide plenty of photo updates so you can relax and know your fur baby is in good hands!

About: Growing up I have had 4 dogs and 6 cats total. Currently I have 2 cats of my own and I babysit my parents 2 dogs and 2 cats. They onboard at my house whenever they need too. I also take care of my neighbors cat regularly when they travel abroad. I am available to do home visits every day before 830am after 5pm during the week. Weekends I am fully available. I am a full time Registered Nurse. I take care of people full time and would love to help take care of your mini family member part time :) I’m currently working full time 8:30-5pm as a Registered Nurse. I go home for lunch from 12:30-1:30. I am home all weekend long. I am available to do home visits before 830 am and after 5pm on week days and fully available on the weekend:) I have a fully fenced in yard for your dogs to run around in. If I am visiting your home for pet care I encourage a camera to be there to ensure you are comfortable with me being in your home. Jaimie took beautiful care of my gentle giant, Ollie. Ollie is 100 pounds of love and fluff and I was very anxious about leaving him because he is so attached to me. Jaimie made me feel at ease at our meet and greet and we got to meet her pup and cat. With a big fenced in backyard, lots of dog toys, and a comfy couch for lounging, Jaimie made me feel right at home. We told her that Ollie might be too nervous to eat, and she sent pictures and updates constantly. Ollie was eating in no time and Ollie came home happy and well fed. Ollie loves humans snd she sent pictures of her and the dog watching tv together at night and of Ollie with her daughter. I am happy to recommend her and will be using her again!

Shannon was AMAZING with our pup! She sent us pics and funny updates throughout his stay, which made me feel so comfortable knowing that he was being taken cared of. She took him on tons of walks and to the fenced in dog park. She also let him make himself comfy on her couch and bed so he was cozy. We left our 9 year old dog with Anu for an extended stay and are very pleased with the care she took of him. She provided him love and play and he soon settled in, becoming comfortable with her and her family. She kept us informed of his daly moods and routine, providing regular updates with pictures.
