I am home most of the day to give your dog all the love and care they need, either just during the day or for overnight stays. When I am out of the house, my husband will take over the supervision of the dogs. I do leave to do local drop-ins and walks, so your dog will need to be able to be left alone for an hour at a time. I have a spare bedroom I will put them in with their bed and toys and will turn the TV on for them for background noise. I can also crate them if that is your preference. For the majority of the day, I am here and the dogs get all the love, TLC, fresh air, and exercise they need.

I have a fenced-in yard, a medium-sized dog, and a cat who LOVE to play with other dogs, so your dog wouldn't be lonely. We adopted another cat who is not a fan of the dogs, but he knows how to get out of reach of the dogs if he needs to. If you would like your dog to be crated, I can do that. Our fully finished basement gives us a whole other living space to separate dogs as needed. I have ample room for multiple crates in the living room or finished basement so the dogs can have their own space to feel secure. PLEASE NOTE: I am willing to walk high-energy dogs, but if they are medium to large dogs, they need to be well-trained to walk on a leash. If a dog pulls on the leash and is difficult to control on walks, it is a safety issue for me, the dog, and anyone we encounter. I feel uncomfortable with that situation and will not accept dogs that are not well-trained to walk on a leash and need daily walks.

With other animals in my home, your dog must be friendly with other animals, so please let me know about your dog's socialization experience. I have a dog and 2 cats in my home, so your dog would need to get along with them. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs ahead of time, such as allergies or need for oral or topical medication administration. Please describe your schedule for your dog in detail and I will follow it to maintain your dog's routine in my care. Please be prepared to have a meet and greet in my home before your dog's first stay with me. I want to ensure that all the animals get along and will be safe in my care. I have one large crate that my dog has used in the past. If you have a crate, please provide it so that your dog has a secure space to go to if they feel like they need some alone time.

My husband, who also loves dogs, is also here when he is not at work to lend an extra hand. I have a lot of outdoor toys we can use in my fenced in backyard and we can take walks around my neighborhood if they need the extra exercise. I will follow your established schedule with your dog.

I have PCI Insurance and am trained in pet CPR and First Aid. I have had dogs all my life and dog sit for family and friends. We have a dog and a cat who LOVE other dogs and would love to hang out with some new friends. We also have a 5 year old cat who is curious about dogs who stay with us, but doesn't engage with them. I have had experience administering oral medications, caring for senior dogs and dogs with special needs. I have had a chihuahua mix, a pit-bull mix and currently have a cattle dog/basset hound mix. I love all dogs and breeds! If your dog is friendly with people, dogs and cats, they are welcome here.

Jaimie and my dog, Todd seemed to have got along right from the start! (meet and greet). She provided many constant updates/photos throughout the day to ensure that he was doing well and adjusting. Although, Todd was afraid of her cats. She still welcomed him with open arms and allowed him to play with her dog, Ollie. Due to unforeseeable circumstances, it did not work out between Jaimie and Todd and we had to travel all the way back to her home the same day to pick him up which was very unfortunate. I just wish that Todd had a chance to do a trial period with her beforehand but her calendar dates were blocked off.
We appreciate Jaimie so much ❤️ the best sitter for our sweet jojo! :)
Can't thank this family enough for caring for my pup!
My anxious pup with a complicated medication routine was well cared for. He settled in quickly and his routine was followed as requested. Jaimie kept in good communication throughout his stay. Will happily book again!
