About: I’ve been caring for dogs for many years, both as a pet owner and for family and friends. I currently have two French Bulldogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone dependable, patient, and attentive caring for your pets. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and giving lots of attention and affection. I know every dog has their own personality and routine, and I’ll do my best to make them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated so you can relax knowing your pet is being well cared for. I have two friendly dogs of my own, so caring for pets is already part of my everyday routine. While my yard is not fenced, I have secure ground stakes that allow the dogs to enjoy outdoor time safely. Dogs are always supervised while outside and will never be left in the yard alone. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, crate, and potty routine to help them feel comfortable and at home Pet care is already part of my daily routine with my two dogs. They have outdoor time at least twice a day, along with access to the yard when needed. Your dog will be included in our normal routine with plenty of supervised outdoor time, play, attention, and potty breaks throughout their stay.
“Bryan and Jacquelyn took great care of our dog Lucy. They gave us daily updates and pictures. Lucy was allowed on their couch and bed and from the pictures felt like she was very comfortable and felt right at home. We would highly recommend commend them and will book them next time a need comes up for us and if they are available.”

“We’ve found a new friend! Laraine came to my home to meet our new pup, Spring, an 8 month rescued blue heeler border collie mix with a TON of energy. It is clear from her interaction with Spring and our discussion that she LOVES dogs. We booked for two walks but had to change to boarding due to a tropical storm. Laraine changed the plans, with ease, and she AND her family welcomed our Spring with open arms. When I picked Spring up I’m not convinced she really wanted to leave! ?Grateful to the colleague who referred rover.com and grateful for all who took the time to rate Laraine’s services and leave a review, it’s why I chose her!”

Monica was great with our pup. She was very flexible and accommodating of our last-minute booking. Our older dog was very comfortable with her, which was unusual of our pup. Monica sent daily updates which we really appreciated, and even mitigated our pup's aging bladder issues. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for peace of mind when leaving their pup behind!

We had a great experience! She took excellent care of our dog and he came home happy and relaxed. We especially appreciated her flexibility when we needed to pick Toby up earlier than originally planned. She was so accommodating and easy to communicate with. We’d gladly book her again next time we needed a sitter!

Shannon was AMAZING with our pup! She sent us pics and funny updates throughout his stay, which made me feel so comfortable knowing that he was being taken cared of. I would definitely recommend Shannon and will definitely book with her again if she is available.

I can't say enough good things about Anoti! She and her family welcomed Dante with open arms and really made him feel at home. Dante is very high-energy, and Anoti accommodated nicely with plenty of long walks. I could see from the photos how much fun Dante was having and how much love he was getting. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
