“Madeline is wonderful! She is friendly, responsible, quick to respond, and communicates well. She sent me tons of pictures of my cat which made me feel so much better when I was traveling! I will absolutely use Madeline again!”

“Chloe has been great being flexible with my work schedule. We did a meet and greet before the first drop in. After meeting Chloe, I knew I could count on her to look after my pups. They warmed up to her, and she followed my directions and beyond. Thankful for Chloe and I am at ease knowing my dogs are safe and healthy from her genuine care.”

About: I have taken care of pets of all kinds since the age of 10. Families, friends neighbors always replied on me to pet sit for them. I’m very comfortable with any types of dogs or cats. I’ve taken care of all age range’s from puppies/kittens to seniors cats/dog. I currently work full-time, but I have time on Friday and Saturday to play with pets! I can board pets Thursday-Sunday! I am very consistent with routine and stay to a strict schedule I have a apartment that is very cat friendly. I have my own cat who is friendly with other pets and she can keep your fur baby company!
“Kaylyn was an amazing Rover - she took care of my 2 cats exceptionally well for the 2 weeks I was away. One of my cats is older, and required an inhaler twice a day, which she was able to properly apply. She also was able to play extensively with our extremely prey motivated younger cat, who has been known to play a bit roughly. On the last day, we had a pet emergency, and she went above and beyond, taking the younger cat (who hates the vet, 4-5/5 FAS type) to the emergency vet and staying there for hours. I would whole heartedly recommend Kaylyn to anyone looking for a sitter!”

About: I have cared for my own dog for 5 years and I love dogs more than anything. I am kind, patient and happy to give them love and safe care I am currently available all days and hours of the week. I can walk dogs any time and give them attention, exercise and care whenever needed. I have my own dog, so I prefer not to host dogs in my home. I can care for dogs on walks or in their own homes once I know and trust the owners.

“Kimberly has been extremely reliable and took great care of Penny, Kimberly also made multiple visits at home to ensure my cat was doing okay! Thankyou so much and also thanks a lot for accepting last minute request it was really helpful and lot of relief.”

“Selena is an exceptional and trustworthy person. We entrusted her with the responsibility of caring for our seven-year-old Saint Bernard, Loretta, for nearly two weeks. She visited our home twice daily to walk Loretta, provide her with food and water, and ensure she had bathroom breaks. Selena’s care was impeccable, and we are incredibly grateful for her services. We highly recommend her and will definitely contact her again in the future.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was a teenager, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. About: I have loved and cared for animals for most of my life. Growing up, I raised and cared for dogs and many other household pets, which taught me responsibility, patience, and attentiveness from a young age. One of my earliest experiences was helping care for a mother dog and her newborn puppies. Since moving to the United States 15 years ago, I have regularly helped friends and neighbors care for their pets while they were away. In my professional life, I have been an elementary school teacher for the past ten years. My experience working with children has strengthened my ability to be patient, observant, dependable, and responsive to individual needs. I treat every pet with the same level of care and attention that I would give to a member of my own family. I am a full-time elementary school teacher during the school year. During the summer, I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the day to provide care, supervision, companionship, and exercise for dogs. Because I am home for most of the day during summer break, I can accommodate regular walks, feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I am committed to maintaining your pet’s routine and ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for while you are away. I live in an end-unit townhouse in a safe, pet-friendly neighborhood with nearby walking paths, parks, and green spaces. My home provides a calm and comfortable environment where pets can relax and feel secure. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and daily routines. I supervise pets closely, keep them on leash during walks unless otherwise directed in a secure area, and make safety my top priority at all times. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I strive to provide individualized care that helps them feel at home.

I have a clean, calm home with a fenced yard and currently focus on providing personalized care for small dogs and cats. I understand how important trust and communication are, so I make sure pet parents receive regular updates and photos while their pets stay with me. I currently work remotely full-time, which allows me to provide plenty of supervision, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I enjoy spending time with pets, keeping them comfortable, active, and well cared for in a calm and loving environment. I have a clean, calm, and pet-friendly home with a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and play. I follow each pet parent’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and routines, while making sure every fur baby feels safe, loved, and comfortable.
About: I’ve always been very good with taking care of animals. I’ve house sat and taken in pets of family members for a couple of years now and understand the responsibility of taking care of another member of the family. I work weekdays from 11:30-5 therefore I’m available in the mornings and the evenings. I try to have a healthy balance of social life and work and try to space out my time as much as possible. I have a German Shepard/pit bull mix at home which requires hands on activity, play, and feeding. It’s important that animals not only get the proper to make sure they are living comfortably but also the most amount of love and attention for their own benefit

Rebecca was amazing, reliable and communicative. She gave my pom oral medication twice daily while I was away and topical treatment for her skin infection. She was attentive and caring toward my other 2 dogs and gave them treats as well. Rebecca was of major assistance while I was out of town and I can't say her praises highly enough. Definitely recommend leaving your pets on her care as she's a true animal lover and very responsible.

This is our second time doing a pretty extensive request with Yan, multiple stops a day for various days, and just like last time I really enjoyed having Yan as our sitter! Jack has warmed up to her, she has good communication, and I look forward to the next time she can dog sit for us!

I've had many pet sitters for my dogs over the years and I can say with no hesitation that Ari (Barbara) was one of the best! Complete trust and confidence that she could handle taking care of my 15 year old lab! Great communication and she treated my Guinness as if he was her family member. Thank you so much Ari!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
