About: Greyhound lady with over a decade training and caring for dogs, including certifying two rescued racetrack greyhounds as therapy dogs through Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs. I've cared for five rescue dogs over the years — four greyhounds and a pug mix — handling everything from puppy adjustment to senior care, including medications, mobility needs, and end-of-life support. I use calm, positive-reinforcement handling and I'm skilled at reading a dog's stress or comfort level in real time, so walks stay relaxed and enjoyable. I'm also experienced with nervous or reactive dogs, having safely de-escalated an unleashed dog confrontation while working a mail route. My own dog takes 1.5 hours walk per day. We love Donaldson Park and the Highland Park Meadows, Johnson Park, Cheesequake and Morristown National Park for treats. Safety comes first on every walk. I read each dog's body language and comfort level before we even leave the door, and I adjust pace, route, or duration accordingly — a skill I built training two rescued greyhounds as certified therapy dogs. I stay alert to hazards like other loose animals, traffic, and extreme heat, and I know how to calmly de-escalate a tense situation if one arises. I treat every pet with the same patience and care I give my own rescue dogs, and I communicate clearly with owners before and after each walk so they always know how their pet is doing.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 7 years old. I grew up with a German Shepherd named Eva, the love of my life. While a sophomore in high school, I began working at a dog daycare called Pups@Play Montclair. That job gave me invaluable knowledge of dog behavior and relationship dynamics. I learned the intricacies of their behavior, body language, personality, whether they were high energy or low energy, active or reactive, etc. I used that to diffuse many doggy disputes. I worked with and managed 50+ dogs everyday. Daschunds, puppies, mutts, great danes, shepherds, samoyeds, bulldogs, pitbulls, hairless, everything. I can handle any dog I meet. You can trust me to handle your dog with care, happiness, love, understanding, and patience. I am fit and ready to play! Dogs hold such a special place in my heart and I can't wait to meet yours! I am a student at Rutgers New Brunswick and my schedule currently has me free after 5pm on weekdays and any time after 9am on weekends. I can potentially be available if there is a special circumstance but that is by no means a guarantee. I do not currently offer boarding services. About: I have over 6 years of hands-on experience caring for a 60 lb Labrador Retriever, whom I raised from puppyhood. During that time, I learned how to understand dog behavior, body language, exercise needs, and daily routines at every stage of life. I also have experience caring for cats and understand that every pet has its own unique personality. I take the time to build trust, whether a pet is playful, shy, or needs extra patience. Although I no longer have my Labrador, the experience gave me a strong foundation in responsible pet care. I treat every pet as if they were my own, following each owner’s instructions carefully to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m a faculty at Rutgers, and most of my teaching is online, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend a lot of time at home. This makes it easy for me to provide pets with regular attention, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I plan my schedule to ensure every pet in my care receives consistent supervision and the care they need. I live in a clean, pet-friendly two-bedroom apartment near downtown New Brunswick. I make sure pets have a safe, comfortable, and calm environment where they can relax and feel at home. I follow each pet’s regular routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by the owner. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain the pet’s normal routine to help reduce stress. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and regular updates with photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are safe and well cared for.

About: Throughout my life, I have consistently owned dogs. I possess the expertise to train both puppies and senior dogs, as well as administer medication when necessary. Additionally, my background in law enforcement includes working with the canine unit. I am passionate about providing exercise for animals. I work full time and are available2 to 3 days a week. Mondays would be after 1pm. Tuesday are open, and Wednesdays I am open in the morning till 1pm. I have a fenced in yard for my two dogs currently. Both of them are house trained and adorable. My dogs are on a raw diet which takes a lot of prep and care. They go on walks at night with me when I come home from work.

About: Growing up I have had 4 dogs and 6 cats total. Currently I have 2 cats of my own and I babysit my parents 2 dogs and 2 cats. They onboard at my house whenever they need too. I also take care of my neighbors cat regularly when they travel abroad. I am available to do home visits every day before 830am after 5pm during the week. Weekends I am fully available. I am a full time Registered Nurse. I take care of people full time and would love to help take care of your mini family member part time :) I’m currently working full time 8:30-5pm as a Registered Nurse. I go home for lunch from 12:30-1:30. I am home all weekend long. I am available to do home visits before 830 am and after 5pm on week days and fully available on the weekend:) I have a fully fenced in yard for your dogs to run around in. I have a large pet bed for inside as well as a large crate if needed! If I am visiting your home for pet care I encourage a camera to be there to ensure you are comfortable with me being in your home. I would only enter allowed rooms and make sure your fur baby is doo g great and in pristine health.

About: I am a Rutgers grad student & mom of two loving labradors and a sweet kitty. I have a ton of experience with senior dogs/cats & puppies/kittens through caring for my own animals, as well as helping out friends and family with their pet care needs. I am a full-time graduate student and have a part time job. I have evening, overnight, and weekend availability during the school year, and am very flexible during the summer months. About: I have had two dogs and one cat throughout my lifetime. I’m currently a part-time teacher and graduate student with a high amount of remote work, leaving me plenty of time to spend with your pups! My schedule is different day-to-day but remains pretty consistent each week. I try my best to ensure your pet’s safety and comfort! I follow owner instructions to the letter, and am comfortable crating pets if needed and handling more difficult pups on their leashes.

About: Hi, my name is Amanda and I adopted my beagle, Honey, last year. I grew up with cats and dogs, and understand that pets are part of the family. I have experience with kittens, cats, and anxious dogs. My specialty is small to medium sized dogs. I walk and train with my dog every day. We completed all the obedience training programs at PetSmart and we participate in agility classes and ecollar training programs. I understand the importance of training as well as caring for the animal with love and patience. I work from home, so my schedule is quite flexible. I walk my dog for about 20 minutes between 8-9am, and then again in the evening from 5pm-7pm. I have a friendly 1.5year old beagle at home who would love to play and snuggle with your pup. I would separate them via dog gate or crating during meal time. We would go for a pack walk and have designated nap time in their crates. Additionally, I would crate both dogs overnight for safety purposes.

About: I am a Middle School Counselor off for the summer so my availability is incredibly flexible. I’ve had dogs in my family home since I was in middle school until today. My current dog Moonshine is a Beaglier who is the sweetest girl in the whole world! I have years of experience professionally working with families and children including in-home therapy, so I am comfortable traveling to homes in a professional setting. As a School Counselor, I am currently off of work for the summer so my weekday availability is very flexible. I can plan my daily/weekly living tasks around your needs. I have spent years of my professional career working with children and families. For part of my career that included in-home therapy, so I am comfortable and accustomed to entering homes in a professional setting. My top priority is respecting your home and your pet.
