About: I grew up with dogs and helped raise two litters of bernese mountain dog puppies. Six years ago, I adopted my own dog, Harley, who is a vizsla/catahoula leopard dog mix. Through my experience caring for Harley, I’ve acquired skills to help fearful dogs enjoy walks and adventures while helping dogs learn to feel safe and secure in their environments. I am currently a graduate student and have a very flexible schedule for dog walking! Walking dogs is one of the best parts of my day! I care for my client’s dogs the same as I do my own. While a sophomore in high school, I began working at a dog daycare called Pups@Play Montclair. That job gave me invaluable knowledge of dog behavior and relationship dynamics. I learned the intricacies of their behavior, body language, personality, whether they were high energy or low energy, active or reactive, etc. I used that to diffuse many doggy disputes. I worked with and managed 50+ dogs everyday. Daschunds, puppies, mutts, great danes, shepherds, samoyeds, bulldogs, pitbulls, hairless, everything. I can handle any dog I meet.
