About: I have been petsitting for the past 3 years and during that time I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, as well as chickens, goats, birds, rabbits, ferrets, and guinea pigs... and I love them all! In addition to petsitting, I also have 3 small dogs and two parakeets of my own - there is never a dull moment! I currently attend Rutgers University- With my schedule, I can care for your pet in the mornings before class, during lunch/mid day breaks (during the week I have 2 hours between classes around lunch time, which is when I can come and care for your pet) and when I get home from classes around 5pm. I am also available during the weekends! I spend time with the pets I care for, giving them lots of love and attention, and really enjoy taking them on walks too! About: I've always loved all animals since I was a kid but have a special affinity for dogs and cats. I lost my sweet pup, Ewan, in 2019 to Hemangiocarcoma (a blood cancer) and to this day I still mourn him and can feel his presence in my life. I also lost my dear cat, Figaro, last year to natural old age causes. I'm a very good dog and cat dad and miss them terribly. In the past few years, so many friends and family have asked me to pet sit their fur babies and they always remark that they know their dog or cat is in the best possible hands with me. That they can actually relax on their trip because of how responsible and devoted I am to their pets and how much their pets adore me. Everyone has been encouraging me to sign up for Rover and now I'm finally doing it! I honestly believe Ewan and Figaro guided me here in their own way to spend time with your beloved kiddos. I work remotely from home as a story consultant and my longest sessions are around 2 hours, so I have most of the day to hang out with your fur baby! If your pet is staying at my place, they'll most likely hang out with me in the large loft area where I work. So they won't be left alone (unless they're the type that needs their space!) The minute they tell me they need to go out for a walk or really just need attention, I'm all theirs. If they're used to taking naps or sleeping on the bed at night, that also is fine by me! :) If I'm at your place, of course I'll abide by your exact rules for them. I follow instructions well and provide plenty of photo updates so you can relax and know your fur baby is in good hands!

About: The second I look at a dog or a cat, I feel my motherly instincts kick in!! I’m currently a per diem nurse and mental health therapist—giving me plenty of time to be home and love my babies. I noticed lot of pet owners via county pages on fb and I just want to be an extra help to my area while making annoying baby noises gawking at the cuteness of any fur baby. I do live with my morkie, Cinnabon who’s a sassy baby boy. And my partner has his cats, Cheesecake and Chandler Bing who are very friendly towards everyone. All my pets are healthy and on anti flea/tic medications! I work per diem as a nurse meaning my shifts are sparse and short- so I’m home 90% of the time. I love spending my free time with both cats and dogs and would love to meet yours! I have a small fenced yard that is regularly mowed and cleaned. I always replenish the water periodically. I keep my home tidy since I’m used to being around many animals at once. For baths, I either use my tub or the laundry sink basin for my own dog. As for cats, I do have the mesh bath bag that prevents them from clawing. I’m very gentle with my own pets!

Additionally, I would crate both dogs overnight for safety purposes.

About: I have been petsitting for the past 3 years and during that time I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, as well as chickens, goats, birds, rabbits, ferrets, and guinea pigs... and I love them all! In addition to petsitting, I also have 3 small dogs and two parakeets of my own - there is never a dull moment! I currently attend Rutgers University- With my schedule, I can care for your pet in the mornings before class, during lunch/mid day breaks (during the week I have 2 hours between classes around lunch time, which is when I can come and care for your pet) and when I get home from classes around 5pm. I am also available during the weekends! I spend time with the pets I care for, giving them lots of love and attention, and really enjoy taking them on walks too! I am a firm believer in following instructions and will stick to your described routine, to ensure the most safety and ease for your beloved pet.
About: I've always loved all animals since I was a kid but have a special affinity for dogs and cats. I lost my sweet pup, Ewan, in 2019 to Hemangiocarcoma (a blood cancer) and to this day I still mourn him and can feel his presence in my life. I also lost my dear cat, Figaro, last year to natural old age causes. I'm a very good dog and cat dad and miss them terribly. In the past few years, so many friends and family have asked me to pet sit their fur babies and they always remark that they know their dog or cat is in the best possible hands with me. That they can actually relax on their trip because of how responsible and devoted I am to their pets and how much their pets adore me. Everyone has been encouraging me to sign up for Rover and now I'm finally doing it! I honestly believe Ewan and Figaro guided me here in their own way to spend time with your beloved kiddos. I look forward to getting to meet you and your pets! I work remotely from home as a story consultant and my longest sessions are around 2 hours, so I have most of the day to hang out with your fur baby! If your pet is staying at my place, they'll most likely hang out with me in the large loft area where I work. So they won't be left alone (unless they're the type that needs their space!) The minute they tell me they need to go out for a walk or really just need attention, I'm all theirs. If they're used to taking naps or sleeping on the bed at night, that also is fine by me! :) If I'm at your place, of course I'll abide by your exact rules for them. I follow instructions well and provide plenty of photo updates so you can relax and know your fur baby is in good hands!

“Words can't express how incredible Laraine and her family are. My blind 18 year old Maltese who gets occasional seizures needs constant attention, loads and loads of medicine, vitamins, special food that needs to be cut up, warmed, and spoon fed, etc. I filled an entire SUV with his stuff alone. I left him with Laraine for a week while I was out of the country, and my god was I lucky to have found such a loving home for the old pup. Laraine is so organized and thorough. I had eight pages of care instructions, and she accommodated every little request and even asked about important things I forgot to write down. When I dropped Rocky off, the entire living room was already rearranged so he wouldn't blindly bump into things. He had some tummy issues when I dropped him off, but Laraine took such good care of him he recovered in record time. Even when he had accidents or needed to go to the bathroom multiple times throughout the night (I'm talking 4-6am, people!!), Laraine was always so patient and understanding. Her entire family showered Rocky with love and attention, and they took care of him as if he was their own. The daily updates and pictures were so appreciated, and I could tell he was having the time of his life. I usually worry my brains out when I'm apart from this guy (he has stayed with family friends in the past but in recent years with his fragile state, it never ended well).. but under Laraine's care, I didn't worry once because I knew he was in the very best hands. She has experience, professionalism, attention to detail, but most importantly, she will go above and beyond for your pup - young or old - because she truly, truly cares. Saying she's a dog lover is an understatement. She's a spectacular person with a heart of gold who really understands how important your fur baby is. Your pup will feel the love and warmth she and her family radiate as soon as they step through the door. You just won't be able to find anyone better. I could talk for days about how thankful I am to have found such a loving home for Rocky.. this is just the tip of the iceberg. A billion thanks, Laraine and family!!!”

“Lucas and Katherine took amazing care of our dog Cali while we were on vacation. This was the first time we've had Cali stay with someone she doesn't know and it went so smoothly. Lucas and Katherine truly treated Cali as their own dog while she was there - she got lots of love and cuddles on the couch, all of her walks and they let her sleep in bed with them!! They sent a ton of pictures that made me feel at ease and kept me up to date on their activities throughout the stay!
